Ever since my local Dominos broke my heart (see my earlier review), i've been looking for another local joint to get my pizza. Big Mama's and Papa's is good, but we're not ready to commit quite yet. We got wind of Slash recently and ordered a pie last night. This review is really a 3.5 but all local businesses get my benefit of the doubt. We went with the #2 special which was a large pizza with two toppings, 12 wings and a 2 liter of soda. First things first - the wings were surprisingly good! I was expecting some fatty drummettes and wings but they were all really lean and the hot sauce was really tasty - i could have gone for a lilttle more kick, but it really wasn't bad. The pizza was also good. not great. good. i am still looking for that local joint that has a hand tossed crust that is bubbly and light. Unfortunately Slash is not that place. we ordered with mushrooms and broccoli and each were healthily thrown on the pie. each slice had a good amount of the veggies. They have a bunch of other great specials too that include pasta, sandwiches or salads. Ours was just $17.99 - just under $20 with tax. I picked up the food on my way back from the market so can't really speak to delivery efficiency. The place was small and neat. Not the most inviting place in the world, but its not like it was gross or anything. we'll keep it on the list. read more

Stash is definitely a four star pizza place that borders on 5. Whenever I have their pizza, I appreciate it - it's tasty, hits the spot, and the toppings are plentiful. I have to deduct a star just because I don't ever *crave* Stash, and that's my definition of what a five star restaurant should inspire. That having been said, Stash is nearly perfect for what it is. Here's hoping they are around a lonnnnng time. (Mostly because, in spite of the prevalence of 83258925 pizza chains in Glendale, this is the only one that can apparently cook a decent pizza. I feel bad giving a mediocre review after my fellow yelpers have bestowed nothing but five stars, but my lunch here was less than stellar. Unable to spare the extra twenty minutes to make a pizza (though I am impressed they make everything from scratch,) I ordered the eggplant parm off their sandwich menu. The salad came first, lettuce and shaved carrots, hardly a salad though I do give them points for dressing on the side without having to ask. The sandwich itself lacked in flavor and was guilty of my number one eggplant faux pas: soggy. While the crust of the roll stayed crisp, everything on the interior had a spongy texture and just sort of blended together. The tomato sauce recalled the taste of SpaghettiOs, and I realize that's quite possibly the greatest insult you can give an Italian place... but what can I say, it's the first thing I thought of. Not the worst I've ever had, but definitely not the best. If the pizza is as delicious as everyone says I will definitely give this place another shot and skip the sandwich menu. Best pizza in Glendale!!!!! We tried 5 other pizza places near our home and all disappointed us. Slash pizza has the best pizza in town and the wings are great too!! and I have always had amazing customer service , never waited more than 50 minutes (which I think it's pretty reasonable since Pizza Hut had quoted me on numerous occasion 1 hour and 15 min) I will definitely love to try other things on the menu but for now I'm stuck on the pizza and wings diet!! read more

One of my favorite go-to pizza restaurants in Glendale. I know that my cravings will be satisfied when I order from Slash. All my visits to Slash have been 100% satisfactory and never had any disappointments. I recently ordered a XL Makhsoos Persian Pizza and relieved a complementary one topping pizza! I had an absolutely terrible time at this restaurant and would never go back. My family and I walked into an empty restaurant where the man up front was too busy looking over a huge pile of receipts to even acknowledge us. After we sat down, he actually left the room without ever even looking at us. When he finally did come back, he couldn't answer any questions about the menu or portion sizes. After we ordered, a few minutes passed and another guy brought us a big bowl of salad and cans of sodas and quickly disappeared. We had to get up and call into the back for someone to bring us plates, utensils and glasses and water (which we never received). They brought us some flimsy paper plates and small Styrofoam cups that looked like they had just been pulled from a water cooler in back. The salad was bland, the pizza was forgettable and the pasta was below average, especially the sauce. You'd think that a restaurant with pizza in the name would be able to handle a basic pepperoni pizza and a house salad, but this was not the case. After we received our food, nobody ever came back to the table except to bring the check which we again had to ask for. There are just too many excellent pizza places out there to ever accept this kind of sub-par food and laughably terrible service. read more

I've been coming here for a while now and they never fail to make delicious food! I went in today and ordered a thin crust Vegetarian pizza with a side of zucchini sticks for pick up. I called in 20 minutes before walking into the store. When I got there my food was hot and ready to go! The receptionists are always friendly and greet me when I walk in. There's always parking in the back as well, since the first couple times I had a hard time finding parking and I didn't know they had a back parking. I would highly recommend this place! read more

My boyfriend and I order from Slash frequently either online or on the phone, and have it delivered. The quality of their pizza is better than the national chains around here. Last time, they called and let us know that they accidentally made our pizzas/orders in the wrong size, but they were going to deliver both sets as an apology. As soon as I walked in with my girlfriend I felt welcomed, the place looks nice and cozy and refreshing, well maintained and clean. I ordered the pesto chicken Thin crust pizza and I was shocked when I took the first bite! It was to die for, the taste was amazing all the ingredients were fresh, and I'm a big ranch lover and eveywhere I go they always charge me extra for a litle cup of ranch and slash pizza gives you a whole Bottle of it free of charge! That blew me away :). My girlfriend; a healthy eater ordered a veggie pizza, needless to say she want to go back asap! I shouldn't have taken this Log to write a review about a place I constantly come to but when food is pretty good I doubt your first thought is "let me open up yelp!" Anyway I love this place, staff is really friendly and reassuring but not the type to start conversation but I actually like that especially when you're just trying to get away for a bite at lunch. I suggest you order their pizza, any of them even their carry out special, these guys make a really great pizza that will have you coming back for more to experiment with their other options. If it were a few months ago then I would've really insisted that you try their sandwiches but sadly the quality of them has gone down which is actually why I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5. They used to make a really great pastrami sandwich but lately it's kind of sad. The meat itself I flavorful ,but they're so stingy now. I ordered one today and they packed it with bulletproof thick slices of tomato and an insulting amount of romaine lettuce cores. After I picked out all the cores,tomatoes and excessive pickles I was left with an embarrassment of a sandwich. They used to give you a generous amount of fries but now I feel like they count them before they give them to you. So in short, stay away from the sandwiches but make sure you try their pizza, after all it's "Slash's Pizza" not Slash's sandwiches. enjoy! read more

got a flyer on my office door and decided to give this place a try on my lunch break, few co workers and I decided to call and place an order for pick up. we all got sandwiches and couple appetizers on the side with our order. When we got to the restaurant it was very clean and well organized. the cashier had a smile on the whole time with great customer service. nice vibe with amazing hard working people. our sandwiches came with a side of fries or salad our choice and i got the frys. crispy and perfectly cooked. they weren't stingy with anything. after reading few yelp reviews on here i am probably going to try their persian pizza. looks amazing in the pictures! well definitively order from slash pizza again. read more

I get that they're a business and they need to make a profit, but that seems pretty "steep" if you ask me...it was extremely hot in there. .. The worst customer service ever! The food came after 1 1/2 hours and it got delivered cold and the order was wrong, so we sent it back. The driver then said he would come back with the right order in about another hour. We decided to cancel the order. The employee then called us to basically yell at us because it was our fault and persisted to argue about the situation and blame us for everything. The food looked good and had good prices, it's a shame the employees have no sense of customer respect. I hope the owners take action bc the place has great potential. read more

I used to like this place, but recently their quality is very bad and food is very salty and their customer service is even worst! Few days ago I ordered a French fries and it took 40 minutes. It comes with loads of food...we always have leftovers.Their spaghetti is average bordering on good, but their pizza is tasty and their hot wings rock!
