Front.

Learned about this place from an ad I saw on my feed. Their web site is top notch, so I decided to stop by before I suggested eating there with friends. It's a hole in the wall establishment. Not saying there's anything wrong with that. It's just misrepresented on their website as a dine in or dine out restaurant. There is no dine in, just some uncomfortable looking wood picnic tables outside. Though it may be the best pizza in town, I don't see my friends and I sitting on those hard wooden chairs hanging out for a couple hours chatting, specially as the nights get colder. So in short, I would say it's a good place for a quick lunch or take out and eat at home, but this reviewer has not tried their food yet.

There are only about 4-5 tables total, so bringing a large group would be difficult. It seems like most people order takeout rather than dining in. I ordered the mushroom pasta, and it was very good. The pasta definitely tastes from scratch, fresh and al dente. The sauces were well seasoned and not overly salty. The seafood bisque pasta and the carbonara tasted like they were made in your grandma's kitchen (if your grandma were Italian). Enjoyed my roasted broccoli (tasted more sauteed, $8). Some small seating indoors. Free soft bread with your order. Very friendly staff. I loved talking to them. Complimentary spa water you dispense yourself. Small parking lot in this strip mall but you should be able to find parking there or on the side streets.

La Pergoletta in Los Feliz is without question one of my all time favorite restaurants anywhere. My wife and I call it our Lady and the Tramp place because it always feels like falling in love when we eat here. Very relaxed in feel and temperament with a dash of old world kitsch, a can't miss menu and a truly wonderful staff that treats everyone like family, Sweet Lorraine and I have been eating here for years and hope to continue for many years to come. Affordable, casual and comfortable with outstanding food that you'd pay a premium price for anywhere else. Some of my favorite items are the incredibly delicious and tender Polpette Filanti appetizer (their meatballs, small or large are the greatest anywhere!), Chicken Parmesan, Eggplant Parmesan (when they have it... bellissimo!!), Tagliata alla Crema di Funghi (I like it with Fettuccine, they make all their delicious pasta in house), a great Caesar salad with Anchovies (if you so desire), Carbonara that really is to die for... and if you're really, really lucky, the moon's in the sky like a big pizza pie and the stars are aligned, their Osso Bucco is the best I've ever had!! Great for family, friends, dates, and every occasion. A real neighborhood gem of the highest order, a diamond 10 out of 5 star rating!!! But please don't tell anyone, okay, or I might hafta kill ya. Seated immediately. Small cute spot. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Service was excellent. Ryan was the man. He was attentive, friendly and a nice guy. Then there's the food. Grabbed the following: Minestrone 1/2 bowl Fettuccine Nero Di Seppia Al Frutti DiMare Moretti Lager The Minestrone - no meat. Just FYI. Yes, I intentionally ordered it. Wanted to be healthy. At least a little. The pasta was prepared like I like it. Lots of seafood - and I liked it. I just didn't love it. Nothing bad about it - just didn't have the knockout blow for me. Hear me though - I'd go back. I'd even have the same dish again. It was good enough for that. But I'd definitely try other dishes too. Complimentary bread is served with the meal. Next rounds are extra. they're toasted crispy. Didn't bother me too much but wouldn't have minded if it was served without any toasting. Soaks up more of the pasta sauce.

It almost made us want to leave and not dine here overall. On the food side, portions are definitely generous, especially for pasta. We ordered the crab gratin, mentai pasta, and the bolognese. My personal favorite was the mentai it had a rich, savory flavor that stood out the most. The bolognese is apparently one of their top-rated dishes, but it had a unique twist that didn't quite hit for me. I'd personally prefer a more traditional version from an authentic Italian spot. One downside for me personally, I ended up with a pretty bad stomach ache afterwards likely because I'm lactose intolerant and many of the dishes are dairy-heavy, so that's something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to that. Overall, big portions and bold flavors, but service and dietary considerations might make or break the experience depending on what you're looking for.

This place was recommended by my step-daughter, and it was fantastic. I asked for a cozy table for my wife's birthday, and we were seated in a nice little booth by the kitchen on a cold night in January. The dining room is gorgeous, with a lot of nice different areas. The couple next to us were also friendly, as a bonus. Everyone nearby seemed to be really enjoying their dining experience. My step-daughter made us promise to order the focaccia. We're not big bread eaters, but thank goodness we got this. I'm not even sure it's technically focaccia, but it's freakin' delicious! We also shared a radicchio salad, the campanelle pasta (all pastas are house-made) and the steak tartare. Okay, my wife's a vegetarian so I ate the whole tartare myself and it was amazing. I mean, truly perfect. The server was wonderful and recommended a perfect red for my meal (by the glass, the mrs. doesn't drink), and then we decided to have the affogato, which went by being delivered to the kitchen table and was one of the best we've ever had. So, 5 stars, no asterisk! Can't wait for another special occasion to go back.

Little Dom's: The Internet Acts Like This Place Killed Their Nonna…read more I genuinely don't understand the low rating for Little Dom's. Is it life-changing Italian food flown in from a tiny village in Sicily by candlelight? No. Is it consistently good comfort food in one of LA's best neighborhoods? Absolutely. I eat here a few times a year because it's one of those easy, reliable dinner spots where you can walk over with friends or family and know you're going to have a good night. I was just here again tonight and ordered two appetizers for the table the sourdough bread and the rice balls. Get the rice balls. Trust me. Crispy, cheesy little happiness grenades. I also ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, which I get basically every time. The noodles and sauce just hit for me. Yes, it's Americanized Italian. I suspect that's where some of the dramatic Yelp outrage comes from. But sometimes I want comfort food, not a lecture from someone who studied abroad in Florence for six weeks. Service was good not great, nice guy but only checked on the drinks once the entire time we were there. For four people ordering four mains, two appetizers, a soda, and two alcoholic drinks, the bill came out to $177 before tip, which honestly felt pretty reasonable for Los Feliz in 2026. The ambiance is classic neighborhood Italian spot energy. Nothing wildly fancy, but that's kind of the charm. Plus, being in Los Feliz is part of the experience anyway. After dinner we walked down the street for dessert and turned a solid meal into a great night. Not every restaurant needs to reinvent pasta to deserve a return visit.
