Of all the companies that provided quotes, JC Tree Experts was the most detailed. Some simply scribbled a price on their business card, but JC Tree Experts emailed a detailed quote explaining exactly what work was included, debris hauled away, etc., photos of the trees to be worked on, arborist certification, and even their insurance certificate as evidence that the company and their employees were covered in the event of accident or injury on our property. This was by far more than any other company provided, and it was a clear indication of their level of professionalism. Theirs was not the lowest quote, but was much more reasonable than some. They arrived as scheduled to do the work - in fact, a little early. It was a large crew with two large trucks and a wood chipper. The crew confirmed the expectations with us and set to work. They were all cheerful and friendly, but worked quite efficiently, completing the work in less than an hour. We called Joel's Tree Service after having interviewed 4-5 other competing services. They ended up…read morebe the best priced and were accommodating on scheduling, coming over today (Saturday) in the morning. They arrived in time and setup without us even having to do anything. Efficient and punctual is great for any contractor! They took about 6 hours total to remove 1 very tall (but dead) Monterey Pine to about the fence line and trim away the dead branches on a second pine. The cleaned up and made the area even cleaner than it was before. All of the debris was hauled away and in the second tree they not only cut the dead branches away but also made it look nicer by doing expert pruning. Overall we are so happy with the work. They have easily won a place in our books for any future tree needs.
