I highly recommend Skyline Tree Experts, especially Joel. He answered my call immediately and came out to inspect my tree within 24 hours. I had a heritage oak with a large broken branch, and Joel's crew did an excellent job trimming the tree. The work was professional, thorough, and clearly done by people who know how to properly care for mature oaks. Joel is a knowledgeable arborist who took the time to explain the condition of my tree, the applicable city regulations, and the best course of action. He also treated the tree with an antifungal phosphite treatment to help protect it after the damage. I really appreciated his expertise, honesty, and professionalism. If I ever need tree work again, I would definitely hire Joel and Skyline Tree Experts without hesitation. read more

Skyline Tree Experts - After trimming - Tree Services Near Me - Campbell, California

Joel is very knowledgeable about the types of trees we have and the best strategy for pruning. He was also easy to reach by phone or text. His crew showed up on time, were responsive to our requests and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. read more

I have recently had the pleasure of working with Skyline Tree Experts and had a tremendous experience. They were professional, accurate, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend anyone to reach out to them for their tree needs! read more

Amazing and quick work. Friendly owner stopped by during the two days of work. Stump grinder did a precision job. Glad to have finally found a "tree guy" I can trust. read more

Exceptional customer service. Unmatched professional tree service. I truly cannot overstate how impressed we were with Joel Valencia and the team at Skyline Tree Experts. Our neighbors highly recommended their services to us and I can see why. Our entire neighborhood trusts them for tree care with a conservationist mindset. Our Woodside Fire report stated that we needed to remove several trees and many of them were in highly technical areas (woven through power lines and dangerously close to our home). I watched in awe as the Skyline team worked together to methodically cut and process the trees -- without any damage to our property. Joel was very active in managing trimming of healthy trees to be as conservative as possible while balancing our neighbor's requests to improve their view. Hiring Joel and the Skyline Tree Experts team was one of our first home improvement projects. I'm so glad that we listened to our neighbors and went with true professionals. We will be continuing to work with them whenever we need tree maintenance. read more

Skyline Tree Experts did amazing work for us this week. On time and delivered exceptional quality for a good price! We have huge trees in our front yard and these guys climb all the way to the top to ensure everything is cut just right. read more

Skyline Trees Experts -- 5/5 We couldn't be happier with the job done by Skyline Trees Experts. The tree removal was handled expertly -- the crew was friendly, careful (they protected the lawn and neighboring fence), and cleaned up completely after the job. Their price was far more reasonable than other estimates, which was a pleasant surprise. But even more important than the price or the clean-up was their support afterward. Our neighbor started making complaints to the city and was harassing us about "illegal tree removal." Instead of disappearing when things got messy, Skyline Tree Experts reached out and said: "We'll support you." The owner came down and offered to testify to the city bureau. He stood by us to enable the allegation to be dropped. It's rare to find a company that delivers quality work and stands by you when trouble arises. We absolutely recommend Skyline Tree Expert if you want a fair price, clean work, and a business with integrity. We definitely will call them again if we need any work done. read more

I called on Joel at Skyline Tree again for some routine tree maintenance. He came out the same day and walked the property and made suggestions. I had a large stand of Scotch Broom I wanted removed but didn't think it was his type of work but he said they could take it on. I didn't want it sprayed or just chopped so his crew pulled up every plant . It looks so much neater now. He also suggested lightening up a huge oak overhanging the road below. A two man crew was there the next day and did a beautiful job. I was afraid of it looking too naked but it came out beautiful. The next day they chipped all the trimmings and cleaned up. The same oak is one of three in a multi trunked tree. Where they joined at ground level was a large cavity that filled up with debris and rats nests. They cleaned it out and filled it with expanding foam to seal out debris and pests then waterproofed the foam. In all, about three days work for a very reasonable price. Don't hesitate to call him. 925-949-9037. Cell read more

I had a large tree (~25ft) with multiple branches to remove. Many of the branches were hanging over my roof and deck. The Skyline team did a great job of removing the tree without any damage to roof or deck. My backyard was clean and tidy when they left. It took all day because of the size of the tree. Skyline (Joel) arrived to give me a quote on the same day that I called. Then, the tree trimmers arrived on time and worked all day on the scheduled day. They all used safety gear. I am a very happy customer. read more

Joel has come out to our house multiple times to trim all of our trees and it's been fine. Until recently in December they trimmed all our trees including a palm tree. The bark of the palm tree "fell" midway in two areas while they climbed it, which he claims was not their fault bc it was dry. Okay fine but I texted him 3 times over a month to ask him about this bc it looks terrible and I finally got a response today. At this point he says it's not damaged but I think it really looks terrible. I asked him to come back and peel just the top portion until to where the bark fell when they trimmed the leaves and he said it would cost me up to $1,200 for one palm tree. Although, I understand there might be an extra charge for this particular service, the palm tree bark was intact before they climbed it and as a returning customer I just expect a certain level and quality of service. Maybe in the future you can call the customer when the damage is caused and let them know there's an issue or maybe an extra charge to clean it up and give them that option instead of ignoring their messages. If you honestly think this was a job well done then we won't be using your services anymore. read more

Joel and his team are fantastic! Punctual, reliable, and great at what they do. Communication is always clear, and the work is done efficiently and professionally. They've become my go-to for tree service and never disappoint. Highly recommend! read more

I was introduced to Joe by my realtor Om Talajia. I was right away impressed with his knowledge and approach on the city regulations and requirements. I needed to remove a huge tree in my front yard which has already started to affect plumbing system. The branches were spread over the roof creating fear of accident with storm. Joe finished the job within a single day! With least supervision. He managed his sub contractors and crew and took care of complete removal. He left the yard clean and used every measure to protect the walls from getting dirty. Joe is very knowledgable, professional and has reasonable pricing. He offers many other yard services and I plan to use his help again. I give him highest recommendation if you are looking for someone responsible and a no-headache experience for start-to-end yard work. read more

Over promises, under delivers. Met with Ulises who mentioned he had another job a few blocks away, so he could give me a good deal, anyway he gave an estimate to remove a medium sized tree and to trim two others. Said he would have crew on the job all day to make sure it all got done. Also said he would stay on the job to instruct the team. Well we didn"t see much of Ulises as he seemed to have other obligations and the crew was small. The result was the crew did as little as possible. Whenever U showed up, I would point out what still needed to be done, at which point U would behave like he was now doing me a big favor. This happened several times and he became increasingly resentful. In the end everything got done at my insistence, except ivy growing over a railing next to the driveway. II would think twice about hiring this company again. Not such a good deal. read more

If you are looking for a reliable and a professional company, please avoid working with this "Company" We hired Skyline to work on a Tree damage report that needed to be submitted to the City of Palo Alto. After agreeing to pay $2000 upon the report approvals by the City of Palo Alto, we pay a $1000 deposit to Joel Valencia, who called himself as the Company Owner. The report was rejected by the City and needed to be corrected by the Arborist. Trying to communicate and talk to Joel about the work was nearly impossible, he refused to work with us, claiming he didn't receive a payment and he didn't have time for us at the time. A week later, he replied back to us with a message notifying he will look at the email within two weeks, so we needed to wait for 3 weeks to hear back from him. He also mention that he doesn't like to work with Asians because Asians are cheap and they will do whatever it will take to avoid payment. He also states that $1,000 is nothing for him and lastly he is calling us ignorants. We will be hiring another company that is professional, cares about their clients and has a team that can provide the actual services. Skyline Tree is a very small company and yes they might be able to trim a tree and do clean up work, but they don't have the experience for delivering professional services, especially when dealing with the Counties regulations. Save yourself some trouble. Hire a more established/professional company, a company that has a customer service department/team. Don't deal with a one man show company. read more

I had a great experience with Skyline tree guys with trimming and clearing out my eucalyptus. Joel went above and beyond to understand what I needed and he suggested they could work with PG&E to disconnect my power line so no damage would occur to the line or my house during the process. His guys were very good at reaching very tall heavy branches. Skyline was competative on pricing and I would certainly recommend them for any tree work and I will use them again. Joel and his team at Skyline Tree did an amazing job removing an enormous failing oak that was threatening our home and our neighbors'. His men took it down carefully, piece by piece by hand, over 7 days, without incident, and cleaned up nicely afterward. This task was hugely challenging, and several of the other tree companies we contacted were reluctant to even make a bid due to many complications involved. We selected Skyline because Joel was clearly confident in his team, and thoughtful and thorough in his analysis of how to tackle the job. He's a good communicator and was a frequent presence on site. Also, Joel's price was fair, amongst the lowest we received and half the price of the highest bids. My husband and I are very grateful to the Skyline Tree Experts, and happy we chose to work with them. read more

Joel and the team are true sculptors! We have an ancient living oak tree that now looks like a beautiful giant bonsai. It was professionally trimmed with care to ensure proper light, airflow, stability, and aesthetic design. The team was responsive and helpful with every request or question we had. Great job by Timo and his crew. He's very responsive over text, quick to schedule and got the job done efficiently with no problems. His crew was very polite and friendly. The quote they gave us was competitive with the other quotes we received. We worked with him to take down a big line, a couple smaller trees and trim some brushes around the yard and would absolutely hire him for tree work again in the future. read more

5+ Stars Rating and big thumbs up to Ulises! Their tree service is spectacular. I have receive couple quote from different vendors but usually the charges are based on numbers of tree. However, Ulises just give me a all-in-one quote and avoid any hassle. While we are trimming the service, they saw a dead tree and Ulises just cut it for me with NO extra charge. I couldnt be happier and strongly recommending them. read more

Ulises and his crew were fantastic--kind, professional, and know what they're doing! They were removing a neighbor's tree and I was so impressed by their diligence and safety that I asked them to give me a quote to trim my trees in both front and backyard. Skyline Tree Experts are by far the best. I have had other companies come and trim my palm tree in the past, but these guys surpass those other tree companies. I can't express how happy I was with the service. Have a look at the photos. Taking down a tree close to a home is not easy and they did it. 5 out of 5 stars! They were so reliable and always showed up on time. They gave me a fair price and did exactly what they said they would do with all my big redwood/cedar/birch/pistachio/maple trees in my front and backyard. The whole crew was so respectful of my home and property and were very careful cutting everything down as well as ensuring everything was all cleaned up. Not an easy job and they worked so hard and took such care while doing it! I highly recommend and will definitely use them again! read more

What a mess! Skyline Tree Service lacks professionalism and decent courtesy to clean up after themselves. My front porch and stairway is covered with bits of tree, branch and sawdust, our car has a heavy layer of sawdust and scratches from tree bits being sprayed on it. Our windows on the side of our home also have a layer of sawdust. SMH. Hope that you learn to improve your service and properly clean up after a job. read more

Excellent quality work! Joel stopped by our place in Saratoga in 2009, noticing that our oak tree needed trimming. (Some branches were actually hanging onto the roof!) He clearly explained everything that he planned to do and did exactly that. He beautifully shaped our oak tree and trimmed all of the "end weight" from the branches. It filled back in perfectly! We've had him back every five years and referred him to our neighbors, who were also very satisfied with him. Great clean up and professional crew. I was surprised when I read all the negative reviews. Yes, we and one neighbor did experience his full voicemail box, but Joel is busy for a reason. We trustEd Skyline Tree Experts again and again. It's a totally pro outfit! read more

I requested a bid and provided requested photos. Was supposed to receive a call back. Never received call. I sent a text asking for an update. I was told my photos were not received. Big old tree over my driveway was dropping branches in high wind. Joel came by the week before the planned pruning, and we discussed what I wanted done and why. He recommended an approach that would meet my aggressive plan and keep my tree healthy. His crew came out a week later, ready to go, even earlier than planned, which was useful. Who shows up early? Few contractors you hire do. Most people show up late. These guys were here ahead of schedule. And they didn't complain when I said I needed fifteen minutes to move my cars and get things ready for them. The crew knew what they were doing, and even with a language barrier we were able to communicate by taking photos and pointing to how much to trim where. Joel, the boss man, arrived part way through and helped educate me about what was best for the health and look of the tree, while making sure to reduce it in size quite a bit to make it more safe. At the end they blew all the debris out of the yards, and I moved my cars back into the driveway, now much safer, under a trimmed tree. Yes there was some left over debris in the gutters but it was minimal and to be expected. read more
