I have been going to this location for years and never had an issue. Ordered chili cheese sandwiches with onion, they came without onion. Order fries, they were undercooked and when we asked for cooked ones they told us they gave them away to someone in drive thru by accident. There was a hair in my salad. Every employee in there could not care less about giving good service. They discounted our food but at the rate things were going we should not have had to pay at all. The service was great and our server Heather had several recommendations for us as well as a sample of the chili for us to try before ordering. Expectations were definitely met and I strongly pass along the recommendation of their famous 3-way chili and the Popular Cheezy Coney dog. read more

This skyline chili does serve as much cheese as other skyline chili's in town. Yes, this is petty but skyline goes hand in hand with cheese. The service is so-so too. The environment is updated and clean. read more

Hadn't had my Skyline fix in quite a while, and we needed a quick meal. Skyline was perfect. My big eyes had to order a regular-sized 4-way with beans AND a cheese coney. Almost finished it all! Mason Ohio location Warning! October 8th 2019 I ordered a bowl of chili for lunch, when it arrived it was only 1/2 bowl. I ask the server why did I only get a 1/2 bowl of chili? I was told that was the serving size now!! Bottom like, I paid for a bowl of chili and only received 1/2 bowl. The guy I was eating lunch with had a 3 way and it had very little cheese on it. It's spaghetti, with chili on top, with a loaf of grated cheese on top of that. I tried it because it's a Cincinnati staple. I don't regret it. It wasn't amazing, it wasn't bad, and it was pretty unique. The establishment itself was in really good condition and the staff seemed to be friendly and on top of their business. read more

On my visit from California everyone in town was saying how I had to try this place. I made it my mission to get this done. The setup was diner style and truly I had no idea what to expect other than some chili doused over spaghetti noodles and topped with cheese. Well it was the five-way that I would try, claimed to be a Cincinnatian invention! On the side I would have the coney dog. I couldn't taste the infused chocolate Cincinnatian's claimed was in there. Was there an extreme amount of cheese? YES! Was it good? YES! All said and done I wish the temperature was warmer on the food. I will say service was about the nicest I'd experienced in a long long time. I mean for an $8 dollar meal they seated and bibbed me! They were so sweet and gave me a first timers welcome bag! Kind of a dingy building and surroundings but good chilitos. It's all about the chilitos. The staff is young like most Skylines. The location is odd since it's right off a main road but kind of out of the way. It doesn't get terribly busy which is nice. read more

We stopped at Skyline as we were passing through Cincinnati. I had never been there or even heard of it. I was skeptical at first but have to admit it was surprisingly good. It's nothing fancy. Basically spaghetti with chili and cheddar cheese on top or a hot dog version of the same. They have a bean and rice option for vegetarians which is what I got. I'm told it's famous in Cincinnati and I was oddly not disappointed. It's certainly not a high class place but the service was quick, prices reasonable and food tasty. Skyline - classic Cincinnati chili. I've been eating at Skyline since I was a child. One of my all-time favorites!

This has always been my fav skyline because they have the best service! But this last time I ordered to-go was a disappointment. I ordered a side of BBR and the container was barely filled when I got home. The lettuce on the burritos was limp and not appealing. It sadly did not satisfy the full skyline experience. I love Skyline. I dream about Skyline. I moved to California about 18 years ago and every time I'm in Cincinnati for work, I head to Skyline. This last trip, I took two co-workers with me. They'd heard about this place from me and another former Cincinnatian. Neither of them were chili fans so they were skeptical. We're all foodies, so we described it as more of a mole sauce. They LOVED it. When the staff found out they hadn't been there before, they brought out "new customer gift bags" with sauce samples and a coupon and other goodies. So thoughtful. read more

When I moved to Cincinnati earlier this year, everyone kept telling me that I just had to try Skyline Chili. Being a coney dog lover, I was very much looking forward to visiting this Skyline place that I'd been hearing so much about. Needless to say, I was underwhelmed. The hot dogs are are tiny and the chili has its own unique flavor. If you're used to a traditional coney dog like what you'd find in Detroit or Chicago (hot dog, mustard, chili, and onions), then I don't think you'll be impressed. I wasn't. read more

Ah the legendary skyline chili. This is the first and only Skyline I have been to. I have heard great and terrible things about the chili brewed by this company. I have been here twice and enjoyed the experience both times. The flavor, texture, and presentation (noodles, chili & cheese) are pretty unique. When you leave here you will be full (order small) and probably not craving to have anymore chili. Overall I think this place is pretty good every once and awhile. Also, I would just stick with the chili, coney dogs,etc. are just ok. read more
