My boo been on a hunt for some smash burgers and when I told him there was an actual place called smash burger he lit up. He ordered a double deluxe smash and I ordered the double Colorado smash. The Colorado smash was super good, it came with pepper jack cheese, green chiles, lettuce, tomato, etc. I had a slow moment at the restaurant and I did NOT want to order the double patty I wanted a single but one I realized it was too late but all in all it was still super good . Ofc I couldn't finish it so my boo had a bite or three too . He ordered the all American double smash and ordered two of them I believe . A good burger with the traditional smashed thin burger with a crispy edge. If you eat it at the restaurant, it gets soggy fast from the steam, and the bread gets mushy if left in the packaging too long. But isn't that true of most burgers? The seasoned fries are a nice change from the usual fries at every other burger place. However, if I'm being honest, it's a little pricy for a well-done burger that's small and about 1/3 the fries you get at Five Guys, which is a competitor. read more

It tasted pretty good but I won't base it off of it being delivered an hour after being cooked. But the All American Smashburger did have good flavor and the Rosemary fries were very tasty even when not fresh. They flavor profile was new to me and delicious. I really liked them. The food here is amazing! Plenty of shared parking in the lot for the surrounding business. Smashburger has the best burgers and love the fries. Inside was clean, casual, and inviting. Loved that one of the employees was walked around asking guest how everything tastes and was going. For food, I ordered the Classic Smash Burger with double beef, american cheese, tomatoes, red onions, lettuce, pickles, Smash Sauce, ketchup, served on a toasted bun. In addition I ordered The Smash fries that were tossed in rosemary, garlic, olive oil. The perfect combo. And washed it all down with a fountain Diet Coke! We recently visited the Cox Lane location and it was enjoyable. My wife likes their food. I forgot how reasonable the prices are. She spent $6.50 on a single with the typical fixings. Onion rings and fries, I think are a little pricey but hey , these are the times. I don't usually eat the burgers but the fries are good and crispy. The store is clean but the bench seats need help. this location is very clean. the parking ample. I had a Double Smash and the burger was excellent. The patties had crispy edges, the lettuce , tomatoes and onions arranged and sliced perfectly. However I had driven 82 miles to this location primarily for haystack onions. The staff said demand was too low to justify stocking white onions for one menu item. Also the Smash tots had soaked up so much oil I could not eat them. perhaps the oil had not been heated sufficiently as it was right at opening. read more

We ordered through door dash and the food was horrible. On the BBQ, bacon cheddar burger there was 1 very small bite size piece of bacon on it and no haystack onions. It was not worth almost $7. It was the same size as a tiny $2 burger from McDonald's. We added mushrooms and haystack onions to the Avocado Bacon Smash burger and it was even worse. No haystack onions and 3 very small mushrooms. The lettuce was wilted and looked old. And it was missing the most important ingredients... AVOCADO AND BACON. it's in the name and they didn't even out it on there. Also the fries and tots were cold. The Brussel sprouts are the only good thing to come of this. We all thought that the burgers weren't terrible but weren't great. The produce was fresh. The bun, meat and cheese were just kind of there. Both my husband and I had our meat fall apart as we tried to pickup our burgers. I ended up eating about half of my meat with a fork. I didn't really care for the Smash sauce. Smash sauce tasted like a mixture of mustard, mayonnaise, and pickle relish. The fries were much better than the burgers. A slight crispness on the outside with a bit of softness inside. In the Smash fries are topped with rosemary and garlic. It was nice to have another option. All around the restaurant are signs for ordering ahead via their app. For take out orders, especially during busy times, this is probably the way to go. This is our go-to place whenever we want a really good, authentic non-fast food burger. I usually get a double Smash Classic, a salad and a chocolate milkshake. I make this my priority every time I see a Smashburger. Of course, Smashburger offers more than just delicious chicken sandwiches. They have burgers, salads, sides, fries and even beer. Yes, a fast-food burger joint that offers beer. They have it. I've seen a mix of customers. First dates, singles, families, and friends. The mixture gives the place a hip vibe, which creates an atmosphere that's unlike other fast-food joints. You want to stay and enjoy the company, enjoy the food and spend time laughing and smiling. There is one downfall to all locations, not just the Cox location. It's that the locations are not large enough. If you visit during a Friday night or weekend, there could be a wait for a table. It might be time for this establishment to grow or open new locations - like Waynesville or Lebanon - wink-wink. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. read more

Great concept - take the fresh burger concept of Five Guys but add more bun, topping and side choices - but my burger had no taste! And it wasn't like I didn't have toppings either - jalapeno cheese, guacamole, jalapeno slices, lettuce and chipotle mayo on an egg bun. Heck, I salted and peppered it too. I literally tasted nothing. I tried a swipe of guac, and it tasted 'semi cold'. The burger was dry and bland. Wow, what a disappointment! My fried pickle (slices) side with Ranch was delicious. Easily the best part of my meal. I also got a chocolate malt for $4, which came with a sidecar of more malt. It took 10 minutes to get our food (you order at the counter then they bring your food to your number), but that was speedy compared to the 18 minutes it took for the family of three next to us to get theirs. read more

For a fast casual place, Smashburger is a solid okay. They have some interesting sounding burger options and offer a black bean patty. Definitely a messy meal, not a first date place. I first had a SmashBurger on 16th St. in Denver, and decided to go get one now that they are here. The worst thing about this restaurant is it's location. It is smack dab in the middle of suburban hell. All office parks and strip malls not so cleverly disguised with rear access roads. A great alternative to 5 Guys when you want a better burger from a chain restaurant. I usually order to go, but you can just as easily order your food and have a seat until it is brought to your table. I like their bacon barbeque burger and their sweet potato fries, cooked in olive oil and rosemary. The chicken patty on their chicken sandwiches is unfortunately insubstantial.
