My wife and I like Taco Bell's food, but the service at this location is awful!! Saturday evening, 9/2/23, I placed a mobile order at 7:30pm, but was forced to pick it up at the drive-thru because the store dining room was closed. There were only two cars in front of us at the drive-through, but it took forever to get to the speaker to tell them I was there. Once I finally got to the window to pick up our food, I was told to pull forward just like the two cars in front of me, and we then had to wait forever again to get our food. We were here for about 1/2 hour! When we got home, I found that the Mexican Pizza that we ordered with sour cream (an extra cost item) had no sour cream. This is the second time this type of awful service has happened at this location. If they can't hire enough staff to run the restaurant, then they should just shut it down - permanently!! Taco Bell service at this location is consistently so bad that I have now closed my Taco Bell account, gave up my rewards points, and deleted the app. read more

This Taco Bell drives me crazy. Whenever I order at night. The food staff are all too busy playing with their phones or have headphones in. They never get my order right. The manager on duty is usually really good about correcting it when something is missing. None of the special request items come out correct like if you order a steak or chicken grilled cheese burrito they just make a plain one. I'm sick of wasting my money on what I want and the meritocracy of the staff putting my food together can't even bother putting it together correctly. Worst Taco Bell ever. Everything in my order was wrong and cold. How is this location in business?

My total didn't seem correct so I asked the lady to recap my order she went thru it fast with an attitude. Then a guy came over and gave me the wrong food. I was supposed to get 3 hard taco supreme, dragon fruit fizz, and a beef and cheese burrito. I received a bean burrito, 1- hard taco and a beef and cheese burrito. I tried calling the restaurant but the fax machine came on after 6rings. I won't go back. I paid with my phone so I have proof of purchase but I don't think it would make a difference with the staff. It's a Taco Bell, what do you expect? They have about 10 menu options that are in a Russian roulette of ways of preparation and all are solid choices for a drunken night or a necessary cheesy Gordita crunch with a Dorito taco. The staff have been really over stretched as is par for the course recently, but this doesn't warrant downright hostility. My family and I tried to do drive through twice and we're told exceptionally rudely that the store was only accepting DoorDash orders. We went home and ordered. It took nearly 2 hours to receive our food and there were several items that weren't prepared properly. The time before that we literally triple checked our orders with the staff and checked the bag before leaving and there were still issues with the lack of accommodation for what we'd ordered, which was simply to substitute chicken for beef on 3 of 4 orders. I have been waiting in my car for 10+ minutes. I kept saying , "hello, hello". Into the drive thru speaker. No answer. Now I am behind another car. Waiting. Made the choice to stop here on the way home from Kings Island so I could get out of the Mason traffic - HORRIBLE call. The only positive part was that the employee I encountered was so sweet & quick! We were the only car in the drive thru and she was kind, attentive, fast, and got our order correct. If I could give zero stars, I would. Literally the WORST fast food drive thru experience. I was second in line to order. I sat there for at least 15 minutes before the guy in front of me moved forward, which was confusing since there was no one in front of him, so the line wasn't backed up from the window. Once I finally moved forward, they told me to wait, and I did for almost 10 minutes before asking, "Can I go ahead and order now?". The person was incredibly rude and said there were six orders ahead of me, and if I couldn't be patient and wait, then I could leave. I couldn't get out of the drive thru by that point, so I just moved ahead and once the people in front of me received their orders, I got out of there as quickly as I could. I even stopped by the last person waiting in line as I was driving out and told them that they should save themselves the trouble while they could and get out of line. Just left this taco bell after an 8 hour drive from pennsylvania, we were so happy to see one that was open till midnight. Let me just say the drive thru was packed but it had to have been the best taco bell i've ever had. Nice amount of sour cream and meat. New Year's Eve great experience! Visiting from out of town, I was pretty worried after all of the bad reviews. Last night was New Year's Eve and I was struggling to find an open place to grab some food. We were flying through town, spending the evening celebrating with family friends as we travel back home. We did an early New Year celebration and then put the kids in bed. As I went out to find food at 11:30, it was no surprise that places were closed. I tentatively pulled into the drive thru at this Taco Bell, expecting to be (not) greeted by a surly worker, angry about doing the late shift on New Year's Eve. Instead, the lady working the window was kind and gracious. It seemed as though she was working by herself, but a full team could have been in there based upon the speed that orders were filled. The car in front of me was served quickly and I was gone within 5 minutes. She was kind. The food was hot and delicious. Most importantly, I received plenty of Fire Sauce in my bag. Anyone who goes through the Taco Bell drive thru knows that they usually skimp on the Fire Sauce. Great Experience! read more

I never have any issues when coming to the Fields Ertel Taco Bell. I also work in customer service/retail so I "get it". I'm not going to bash the employees. They are overworked and underpaid. I always get great service, probably because I'm not rude to them. I don't mind waiting in line, either. Everyone will complain about TB's line but they won't complain about CFA's. I took my son to taco bell to get a simple $5 box deal, the drive through line was a bit long so we decided to go inside. When we got in the guy in front of us warned us to go to a different place to eat as he had waited a long time and demanded his money back. Being that there was NOBODY in the restaurant we decided to stay and order. We were asked a couple of times if we have been served and we kept saying that we're just waiting for it. After 15 min we finally got our box without a "I'm sorry" or any apologies for the bad service. Lobby is closed, except for the GrubHub guy (against local law-must have doors unlocked when anyone that isn't an employee is in the building).
