We kept getting updates from our power company for the restoration times. 9 pm, 11 pm, 2 am, but the kicker was restoration wouldn't happen until 6 pm that day! My husband is on oxygen and a cpap due to his cancer so we were forced to find accommodations. So, about the hotel. It was clean, the staff friendly, and the beds were comfy. We asked for a late check-out and they said 2 pm was fine without charging extra. Breakfast was great. We took it back to our room. expensive at $15.50 pp. Still it was delicious. I got the Eggs your way .....over easy, sausage, potatoes, and sour dough toast. The eggs were perfect, the potatoes were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside! The sourdough toast was buttered and perfect! My husband had the French toast wth strawberries. "Dipped in cinnamon-vanilla custard and griddled, topped with powdered sugar, fresh strawberries, Vermont maple syrup" They smelled wonderful! We loved our breakfasts but the joy was taken away by the eco-friendly cardboard boxes the meals were served in. For most accommodations in our area, this hotel was pricey at $400.00 plus per night. A star off for that as well. Just a note. The tub bottom was very slippery!

I will be back due to the pros listed, but next time I will ask for a different room.

Clean, spacious room, very comfortable bed and pillows, quiet, free breakfast, indoor pool, gym, easy free parking, safe neighborhood and restaurants/stores close, reasonable prices, towels very good quality and clean and they have soap bars! I would stay here again. Only things I did not like: --The free breakfast was "Okay" but would have been great if they had Hard Boiled Eggs and higher quality yogurt. They did have oatmeal. Since Covid, it's hard to find a free great breakfast anymore at a hotel. --Got back at 2 AM and the shower only had very hot water! I ran it for 10 minutes and still only HOT-burning HOT! What the problem was is that a new control arm was installed and they they did not test the temperature. I temporarily fixed it by turning the water off and then applying max pressure to the control arm while turning it on so that it would grip the cold control. The shower was now a bit only on the just warm side--not hot but good for one shower--I survived. I would have to change rooms if I was staying another night. --Staff at the front desk is not the friendliness, even by LA Standards, but they get the job done. They just don't seem happy there for whatever reason. I tried to talk them up--they were not interested in even light conversation. Everyone is under financial pressure these days effecting their work attitude. Maybe it was me and they did not want to chat with me--don't know. --No hook or high towel bar to hang up my toiletries bag in the bathroom--I had to hang it in the closet. Wish there were more hooks for efficiency. --No free bottled water and it it costs $4-5 a bottle!! Overall, I would recommend a stay here--just turn the shower on when you get in the room to make sure it works on your temperature. These days everyone is hiring a "Sunday Charlie" to fix things instead of a licensed plumber to save money.

This hotel is absolutely perfect for hosting wedding guests. The lobby is spacious, beautiful, and provides a great place for everyone to gather throughout the weekend. The rooms are incredibly large, and the lobby bar, Grain & Cane, was an excellent spot for our guests to have fun. We also rented the Glass House for our rehearsal dinner on Friday night, and it was such a unique and beautiful space. The food was outstanding, and Christina G. was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. She made the entire week leading up seamless and ensured everything ran perfectly the day of the event. I may not be spelling her name correctly, but a huge thank you to Myesha at the front desk. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Helped us out so much morning of the wedding. Overall, we had an exceptional experience. From the accommodations and event spaces to the outstanding service and staff, everything exceeded our expectations. We received so many compliments from our guests throughout the weekend. I would highly recommend Embassy Suites to anyone looking for a fantastic hotel, especially if you're hosting a wedding nearby. Staff was friendly. 1 star off: Even though the hotel is located in a residential area, there was still quite a bit of street noise. The walls were thin and either construction noise or a neighbor's alarm woke me up every morning. Breakfast was included. There was a Starbucks conveniently located right in the lobby, i.e. you can roll out of bed and get a coffee without putting on the whole gear to go outside in the cold. Happy hour occurs every afternoon, and upon check-in, I was given a few drink tickets. I didn't end up using them, but it was a nice add-on.

The rooms are beautifully decorated. The views are stunning. They gave a great room, library, billiards, spa, and gym. And then event space - a wedding took place while we were there. It's connected to a walking park, there is also a farm, pool, tennis courts. Some activities are included like floor Pilates and some are extra like a private nature hike, farm encounters where we fed sheep and chickens. The pool is huge with plenty of chairs and live music on select days. Note that they have a members club who get special perks that sometimes trump guest services. The two restaurants are site as also delicious, though overpriced - including poolside food - as expected though. Absolutely love it here and no doubt will be back!

We were promptly checked in and they gave us a discount since we couldn't check in earlier. The room was spotless. The bathroom was extremely clean. The breakfast was very good. All the food was warm and tasty. There were several coffee choices and the coffee was hot. The breakfast wasn't very busy so we had a good choice in tables. Many hotels don't have many tables but this one had plenty of seating. When we checked out the young lady at the desk was very polite and smiling. We would definitely stay here again.
