Got an amazing deal at this place while I was visiting NYC a week before Christmas while all the hotels in NYC were costing me over $400 because of the holiday season. I didn't mind staying over in NJ as most of the things I had planned the following day were in NJ. I enjoyed my stay, the hotel was modernized or redone recently. The linens, room and bathroom were really clean. The staff was friendly. If I'm paying $80, I would definitely drive to NJ rather than paying $400 and paying some tolls or driving 40 mins even if I has to come back to NYC. read more

The recently renovatedHotel Indigo is now a Delta Marriott Bonvoy property. It sports a full service restaurant, patio, exercise and full service bar. All are renovated, clean and modern. Plenty of parking in front. The rooms have been totally overhauled, with larger than average rooms, big screen TV, chaise, refrigerator and desk. Chargers at the bedside tables and desk provide for all your tech. The bathroom is also updated and also spacious, but has a couple of quirks - the shower is half glass, half open. Guess where the water goes? To top that off, the splash out reaches the metal framed door, which was left unfinished along the shower-side edge. Can you say "rust"? The staff was wonderful and for the price, this was an incredible value. Would definitely stay here again. read more

Smart TV is only as smart as the user. These people have the TV set up to their own cable system so if you disconnect it then you cannot turn the TV down it stays at 100 the way they set it up. So you have to disconnect their internet as well in order to be able to use the manual television buttons but they don't know that instead they kept telling me it was my internet that was causing it and this is the engineer who's only job here is to know what the hell he's talking about and he doesn't. Fortunately my 14-year-old child isn't stupid and she disconnected everything so that we can use our PlayStation 5 and our own internet. Then the refrigerator doesn't work so their solution is to put my medicine in the fridge but not give it to me when I need it. Apparently the same genius engineer has the only key to the refrigerators. You would think one would just get a refrigerator from another room or even move me to another room seeing as how my medicines pretty important just like my service dog. read more

Over the last week and a half I stayed in 6 hotels in the NJ and Manhattan and this hotel had by far the best staff and service out all the hotels I visited. Maya was absolutely incredible in making me feel welcome and treating me like a VIP customer. Warm, friendly, and accommodating. This is exactly how all hotel service should be when traveling. All the staff at the front desk were terrific. I really liked my room as well. It was spacious and had a pristinely clean bathroom which I always appreciate. I agree with some of the other reviews the AC/ Heater can use an upgrade and there was a beverage stain on one of the bed spreads which should have been caught by housekeeping. But those were minor issues and did not impact my stay. A huge positive however was the TV! Also the best out of all the hotels I stayed in. It had Netflix, HBO Max, Showtime and more streaming options in addition to a full selection of regular TV networks and cable channels. If you need a place to stay in Basking Ridge, this is a great option. read more

This place got 2 stars solely for the staff and the continental breakfast. As far as the rooms?! They need some immediate attention. The air conditioning units are old and need to be replaced. This hotel is great - very clean, very modern. The staff greeted us efficiently, and I was up to my room in no time. There is also a restaurant that stays open until late at night if you have long hours such as I do. I had never been to a Delta hotel before, but I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. Look this isn't the Ritz Carlton but for the budget minded traveler needing to stay in this area (which we did for an event about 5 Miles away) with very limited options we ended up here at the completely renovated "Delta" Hotel which I would guess is spin off brand of Marriott Bonvoy. Small 4 story I believe hotel was something else before Marriott took it over located just off Rt 78 with plenty of free parking. Nice lobby bar upon entrance. Check in simple and easy received a room with 2 KING Beds don't remember that ever before in any hotel. Room was spotless bathroom serviceable and clean, coffee maker provided with flat screen TV (Smart). Linens and beds were of top quality and also very clean. Did not partake in any food or beverage on premise free shuttle was provided to and from our event at the Regency 5 miles away. In Short excellent value hotel, clean & serviceable all you could want from this price point no negatives! read more

Marriott Bonvoy Titanium members beware: this hotel currently has no restaurant or lounge (the restaurant is under renovation), and the front desk does not honor the $100 compensation requirement. My husband and I stayed at this hotel in early September and were dismayed to discover that their restaurant was not open and they have no concierge lounge available (at least on the weekends--not sure about other days). Titanium members are supposed to receive $100 in compensation for such situations; I confirmed this after arrival by calling the Titanium customer service phone line. When I pointed the issue out to Marcela Deaza, the hotel manager, she promised to look into it and send me an e-gift card or credit my account. Fast forward a month later: I've received no compensation, and my recent email message to Ms. Deaza went unanswered. This is a sign of very poor management, and it's very disappointing because otherwise the hotel is quite lovely, albeit in an area that's a bit out of the way from our usual travels. I sought the place out based on its good reviews, but am frustrated that I can't even get a response from the manager. read more

The hotel advertised refrigerators in the room, but it did not work and was pumping hot air. I had brought over $100 worth of food, all of which spoiled in 1 day because the fridge did not keep anything cool. I brought it to the attention of the front desk clerk who did absolutely nothing but admitted that they are aware that nearly all of the fridges in the rooms are broken. Since she did nothing, I left 3 voicemails to the manager who never once returned my call or visited my room to inspect the fridge. Since they were aware the fridges are broken, they should not advertise it on their website and they should warn you before guests unload all of their food in their broken fridge. I am especially astounded that the hotel manager and the front desk clerk took no accountability or even bothered to call back. The food was all just purchased and spoiled within a day. They did not care that I lost money. To top it off, one window in the room would not open. The second window would not stay open and would just slam down. It nearly took off my hand. The sheet had someone's menstrual blood stain on it. I removed the sheet and asked the head of maintenance for a clean sheet. He asked a housekeeper for a clean sheet who replied that there were no clean sheets ready. He vanished into another room and returned with a sheet which stunk of a woman's perfume. The head of maintenance literally gave me a used sheet in the middle of covid. The mattress pad had dried urine and numerous stains on it. The housekeeper confirmed they are gross and they never wash them. I requested a clean replacement and she said there were not any. read more

I am a Marriott titanium member so I stay at a lot of hotels. I just want to say that this hotel is so nice, clean; and the staff is so friendly! I recently forgot my laptop charger on an important business trip and by the time I realized it; the closest Microsoft store was closing in 30 mins.....not enough time to wait for an Uber or taxi. The manager of the hotel was so friendly and she drove me to the mall and I was able to make it before they closed and get my charger! She did not have to do that but it made a HUGE difference for me! I would stay here again and recommend this place to anyone in my family! read more

When I dream of the perfect Marriott property for work travel it's usually an Autograph property in downtown San Diego. Unfortunately, I have neither clients in San Diego nor clients with travel restrictions that do not preclude stays at the Autograph collections. So I'm usually relegated to some dumpster fire of a hotel with a totally outrageous and disproportional rate that simply preys on business travelers (like me) who spend other people's money (I'm looking directly at you Marriott Courtyards across the country - what a joke). Thankfully, this property is an incredible exception. Firstly, the lady at the front desk was rude when checking in. She acknowledged other customers before me twice in two separate occasions when I was obviously standing at the corner waiting first. Secondly, the room wasn't the best either. No microwave or fridge, the shower head was broken and leaking all over the bathroom floor, the bathroom mirror was broken. We didn't receive any room service at all, no fresh towels or emptying trash. The only time someone came into our room (Without knocking) was at 9:00am on the last day of our stay when checkout is at 11:00am. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel! I used them for my wedding block this past weekend and they were outstanding from the beginning. First, the rooms were gorgeous and spotless. The beds were super comfy and room service was so accommodating. The employees at the front desk were so sweet and helpful and did a fantastic job at giving out our welcome bags and making sure the guests knew when to take the shuttle. Katerina helped us out for months while we stressed about the shuttles to our venue and our guests being happy with their stay, and she answered all our questions so quicky and efficiently. The shuttle service was amazing and did several extra trips from the venue back to the hotel when we all lost track of time on the dance floor and at least half of the guests missed the last scheduled shuttle time. They did 3 extra trips to make sure everyone was picked up. Not only did the shuttle service have to go back and forth to the venue, but after we all got back we hung out in the lobby until 2am. We were expecting them to ask us to go to our rooms and close the bar but they let us drink and hangout for hours. It was incredible and definitely not what we expected! The group rate they gave us was phenomenal and their prices in general are great for such a busy area. read more

I stayed at this hotel with my husband about two weeks ago while attending a NJ fall wedding. The hotel was two stores and had beautiful rooms with double king beds in it. There was a nice glass showers and window views of trees with fall leaves. They have a downstairs bar and breakfast area. Parking was easy and overall the beds were my favorite part, didn't not spend too much time in the room but it was clean and spacious. This type of room would be great for a longer vacation but overall this was a nice hotel. Would stay here again if ever in that area. read more

First room had blood splattered in bathroom , loud fan, moved to another room it was a little better however my 6 AM wakeup call never came, during the night the towel rack fell of the hinge, when I told the guest service rep in the morning I was asked if "I broke it" Unbelieveable there was nothing hanging on it to have it come unhinged. Fact not true and they were sold out, so we had to pull up stakes from first the Tapestry property to a Marriott, then to the Courtyard. Came to this hotel with some family and friends recently for the first time and was absolutely happy with our experience here. The customer service was really good. For any questions we had, they were happy to help and very informative. Our rooms were so spacious and the king size beds made sleeping so comfortable and accommodated our group perfectly. They even had really nice and big sized TVs, and oh not just any typical flat screen, but a Smart TV! I've honestly haven't been to hotel where there has been a Smart TV. They even have a pretty nice gym if you wanted to get some exercise in as well. Overall the hotel, the people who made our stay that much more comforting with their services, beautiful rooms, I would say this is definitely the hotel to be in!! read more

This hotel was excellent. Check in was smooth and easy. The hotel was very clean and updated. The room had everything I needed. The bed was super comfortable. The tv had Netflix if you had an account you could log right in. It was overall a good experience. We did not have time to grab breakfast or stop at the bar. The hotel was quiet. Couldn't hear anyone through the walls. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. I booked on Travelocity and they had a great deal. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area. Way too noisy/not able to sleep. Came here for a reunion and specifically asked for a quiet room as a long standing Marriott Member when I made the reservations well in advance. Noted this when I checked in and it didn't matter because the hotel was overcrowded with several reunions and a wedding. They put me in a room on the 1st floor near the noisy bar and the noise level was ridiculous even after 1:30 AM so sleeping here wasn't even an option. You also aren't able to sleep late because you can hear nearby doors slamming and noisy neighbors even with an iPhone noise canceling app. Overall a disappointing experience so would not recommend staying here. read more

What an AWESOME hotel. I brought my boyfriend here for one night just to get away from home for his birthday even though we do live in the area. The room was clean and newly renovated. It had a huge Samsung smart TV. Our king bed was really comfortable, which is always a huge concern when I go to hotels. The room was really spacious as well, very unexpected. The customer service was absolutely fantastic. The second I walked in the door I felt welcomed by staff. I got raspberry white chocolate ice cream delivered to my room which was so nice and came really quickly. The lobby was also beautiful and modern with a cute bar and small restaurant right when you walk in. On my way out, I met the manager Andrew. He was really friendly and I felt he was genuinely happy that we chose his hotel. I always seem to have a gripe with hotels, including many resorts I've stayed at, but as for Delta in Basking Ridge I don't have any. My boyfriend and I are already thinking about our next stay here. On Sept. 21 I stayed at this hotel for a wedding. My husband left his white dress shirt at the hotel. I contacted them and in their reply they stated "unfortunately there were no items left behind in your room, we are so sorry your item was misplaced". He did leave the shirt in the room, where else? Front desk was excellent and room was very clean. When we got there only one of the elevators was working and that was very slow, made you think you're not getting out of it. It was the same at check out. The wedding booked 30 rooms and there were 2 small vans to shuttle us to the wedding venue (40 Acres). First shuttle back to the hotel was at 10:30pm. There were only 4 people on it and one of them said the female driver said that's it I'm leaving. Why? She never came back for another p.u. The other shuttle left for the 20 min. ride to and from. Came back at 11:15 for another p.u. The next day there was a breakfast from 8:30-10:30. Got there at 9:30 and there was no coffee in the urn or orange juice in the pitcher. Young person working said he had to make more. Obviously he never kept watch over the buffet. Really sad that this place is so mismanaged. read more
