Dr. Warner is a Fraud - Stay Away!…read more I want to warn everyone about my horrible experience with Dr. Warner. I have had three failed nose surgeries under his care. My nose is still crooked, I am still bleeding, and despite all his promises, there has been zero improvement. During the third surgery, he took cartilage from my rib, which resulted in a painful infection under my breast. Each time I saw him, he assured me things would get better, but instead, he kept injecting sterilizing injections into my nose--without any real solution. I finally told him that I would be suing him for his incompetence. Now, just because I spoke the truth, he suddenly refuses to see me. He feels threatened because he knows he has done wrong. That's fine--I'll see him in court. If you look at other reviews, you will see a pattern: botched surgeries, infections, and serious complications. He doesn't even wash his hands properly, which is why so many patients suffer from infections. His entire practice is a fraud, and he should not be allowed to operate on anyone. I strongly urge everyone to research his educational background before trusting him. If anyone wants to see proof of what he has done to my nose, feel free to reach out. Stay far away from Dr. Warner. He is a pure fraud.

I noticed that this is the only Walgreens that has the Photo department (where you do pickups) connecting right to the general checkout counter. The woman at Photo was not particularly welcoming, she kind of complained that I clicked "I am here" on the app that instructed me to do so. She said once I clicked that, the clock would start timing her, she said I only needed to click that if I waited in my car by the sidewalk. I didn't see why it's a problem that I was already inside the store, and she didn't need to go outside. The chocolate was pre-bagged, she gave that to the cashier who scanned it. As I had already paid online, it was quick. I didn't spend too much time inside this store, but it looked smaller than the other Walgreens stores that I had been to. It's not as bright and looked quite dated. However, I was happy that they had this chocolate that's my sister's favorite at a discounted price, and the pickup was quick and smooth.

Trying to get a vaccine done here, we've had to try 3 different times for a single appointment due to their scheduled (but not posted) breaks. I didn't realize they only gave me 2/3 of what was prescribed, costing me a whole useless trip downtown, along with the whole joy of rescheduling. They could do much better. This is a high traffic location, and my guess is that it is very understaffed.

I say this because when he was done with the peel, my right and left side of my face was burned and deeply scarred. I had to go to his office repeatedly for a cream which he charged me a lot for to apply it to my face. The scarring never went away and now 2026, I am still babying that scarring with high priced creams. When I went back to see him directly after he did my peel, his nurse/ assistance was gone. So, did HE actually do it or had his assistant do it. I was never told that!! He always charged me for every visit after he screwed up my face!!! shamful! Yes, he always talked the big talk but did not do what he said would happen!!! He knew he screwed up but never tried to make it right by me. Every time I put on makeup or wash my face , I think of HIM.

He had to do a full reconstruction inside my nose and is a true master. Before the procedure, we met Rona, his surgical coordinator, who is a sweetheart and answered all of my questions. Because Dr. Geroulis only specializes in faces and performed his internship in ENT, I felt confident that I made the right choice. After the surgery, I was so happy I chose Dr. Geroulis. He called me the same night to check on me, and I had tons of follow up appointments afterwards to make sure I was healing well. Dr. Geroulis and Rona were both amazing through my journey. 9 months later, I am thrilled to say, I made the right choice :)

Guess who just found out her FSA money can be used for massages?!?!?…read more Yup, this girl. I've had some issues with previous massage therapists not really wanting to touch me after discussing some of my body issues (srsly, if scoliosis freaks you out, maybe go back to school for a bit?), so I called Olga and we spent a ton of time on the phone discussing a number of issues I wanted worked on, how to approach them, and what I could expect. I knew after that phone call I found my happy massage place :) Olga's studio is on the second floor of a building in the heart of downtown Wilmette. It's bright, open, airy, and super welcoming. Also, since Olga offers facials, I saw a ton of awesome looking skincare that I can't wait to dig into on my next visit. I got a 60 minute therapeutic massage (which was truly 60 minutes), which can include anything from cupping, to deep tissue, to swedish massage, and man, did I get my butt kicked. I had no idea how ridiculously tight I had gotten, and how difficult it was for me to just relax. Olga worked on everything we had discussed, and at the end I was so impressed I bought a 5 pack (for only $475!), and am getting my husband in to see her asap. Yup, from now on Olga's massages are gonna be #1 when it comes to making sure my old butt gets the maintenance it needs.

The atmoshpere is unlike any other spa I have visited and is absolutely beautiful...serene, elegant, unique & extremely well done. When I first started visiting a medi-spa, I was skeptical of how effective any of the treatments would be. I have to say, I am a complete convert now, and receive regular unsolicited comments on my skin. Peggi is very patient with all of my questions about what treatment she is going to do, how will it effect my skin, will there be any extra sensitivity, and I have never felt pressured to do any treatment I was not totally ready to try. She has a very soothing & gently method which I really appreciate, but she also is very adept at dealing with difficult blemishes without a lot of pain (something that I have struggled with at other spas). The difference in my skin over the last several years is really amazing. I feel like I'm really doing everthing I can to take care of my skin with Dr. Franzia & Peggi's help. I really like that Dr. Franzia puts so much effort into having the most up to date tools available...and does a really nice job of providing opportunities for her clients to learn more about the different treatment options available. Periodically, she will host an open house type of evening so you can see how different treatments are done, meet representatives of different product lines, ask questions, and as kind of a bonus...meet other clients. She offers a great discount on products & services at the parties too, which is a great incentive to try new things.

Caring staff and great results! I appreciate Dr Franzia's approach, just enough to look refreshed!read more
