I went to this Walgreens at night. I parked my car in front in the parking lot. This guy who was holding a cane in his hand, parked his car in back of me. I had a hard time getting out of the parking space. This guy kept on going in and out of the Walgreens when he saw me. He was on the phone and he saw me. So creepy. I typically frequent the glencoe and winnetka Walgreens since they are closest to where I live. I had to pick up a prescription today. The glencoe Walgreens pharmacy closes by 3pm and winnetka pharmacy isn't open on Sundays (bummer). I called Northfield and they were able to transfer my prescription from Winnetka and had it ready in 10 min. This isn't the first time I've had stellar experiences with their pharmacy so wanted to give them a shout out for their great customer service and speediness. read more

Thank goodness for Walgreens. We were on a road trip and someone in our group really needed to use the restroom. With no where else around we stopped into Walgreens and they were thankful for the stop. While we were here we browsed and ended up gettings some Tums, finger nail polish and mascara- you know, the essentials. They had a great deal going on for buy two get one free on certain makeup so I ended up getting one nail polish for free. The store itself was pretty empty other than the one staff member we interacted with and other than the makeup we didn't really see anything that caught our eye. While this was just one little stop for us it was what we needed and didn't have to have any special services or bells and whistles. read more

Love this Walgreens. They set me up to have auto-renewal of Covid test kits. My insurance allows 8 kits per month. And when I was not able to pickup from store they delivered it to my house! Awesome service. The workers are always helpful and greet with a smile. read more

They deserve no stars. Still trying to refill a prescription after 4 days. My doctor tried calling them twice to approve a refill, both times they said it was a duplicate prescription. I had my insurance call the store, and they hung up on them. Getting a refill for eyedrops, shouldn't be so hard. I am on hold now asking to talk to the store manager, three people have picked up so far, but no manager. read more

This particular Walgreens pharmacy in Northfield, Illinois, has been deteriorating for years. Indeed, it has earned a bad reputation among my medical providers. It seem that random chance or the store's most recent lunch break determine when and whether your prescription will be filled. If you have more than one prescription, more often than not they will be filled on separate days. The service is so poor and the staff and management's attitudes to indifferent to their customers' well-being that I no longer trust them to properly fill prescriptions. I do not know whether other Walgreens stores have fallen this low. I currently am deciding whether to attempt another Walgreens store farther from my home or just surrender to fate and shift my business to Jewel Osco, which never has let us down. read more

This pharmacy is AWFUL. I have told them soooo many times that I am not my sister (when I try to pick up prescriptions) we have different names, different birthdays, different addresses! Today was the final straw. I went to get the RSV vaccine and waited 40 minutes only to be told that they can't give it to me because I'm not in the system, only my sister is. I waited as people who got there after me were seen. I asked about if I would be seen soon and they said yes. then yet another person went in front of me who arrived after me and thats when I was told they can't give me the vaccine. i asked why they didn't tell me that 40 minutes ago?? they just stared at me so I angrily left. don't go to this room pharmacy, they are rude and disrespectful and stupid. My sister lives in the city and I live in the suburbs, I don't know how many times I have to explain this to them!! read more

I am getting more and more disgusted with this pharmacy. They always short my prescriptions and I have to make an extra trip to pick up 2 or three pills. Then they charge me for pills I have already paid for. Prescriptions are expensive and I can not afford to pay for pills I never received. They need to wake up! read more

Edward, the Asian pharmacy tech was the most rude person I have ever met. He made sure 3 Caucasian people went ahead of me, claiming I was in the wrong line (vaccination line). After waiting forever, a great person "Daniel" took me in the vaccination line and gave me my medicine. The Asian guy looked at me with a big smile, proud that he made me waste 15 minutes of my time. The worst pharmacy ever! This has happened several times at this location "oh you can wait and we will have your prescription in ten to fifteen minutes" NOT! I waited forty minutes before losing it. I was then told that the pharmacist went to lunch and I had to wait for her to come back. While I was waiting there the first 40 minutes there was not one person that came to the counter without a problem concerning their prescription order. It was one lie after another. They were using so many excuses I started to keep a count on my phone! As I can see there are several other pharmacy complaints and obviously nothing is being done. My work requires I go to CVS thank God!! This prescription was for my my dog! Total wait time 65 minutes. read more

It's cold and flu season, and on Saturday morning when you wake up feeling not...so...good Walgreens Take Care Clinic is a great place to go for a check up. Getting ready for a business trip, and with two kids at home with strep, I was super paranoid about the fact that I woke up exhausted and super run down. I immediately headed for the nearest Walgreens Clinic and stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to make sure there wasn't anything brewing. I entered the store and headed to the back area and checked myself in at one of the two computers. A very nice nurse came out of a left door to tell me the doctor is assisting a patient and that my wait time would be approximately 15 minutes. She also double-checked to make sure I signed into the computer properly. In about 10 minutes the patient before me came out of the doctor's office on the right. The nurse came out shortly after and brought me into her office for a strep test and to get my paperwork taken care of. After the strep test was completed (negative...whew), she sent me into the doctor's office for another check. The doctor was also extremely nice and assisted me with some suggestions for building up my immune system in the interim to make sure I don't eventually come down with anything. From the time I checked in to about 30 minutes later, I was done and on my way. A great place to stop into on the weekend, but also during the week when you just don't have the time to get in with your regular doctor. Highly recommended!! read more

I went to Walgreens photo to pick up my order of 25 pictures. I never received a confirmation email or text stating they were ready. Once I got home and excitedly opened the pictures I found out some of the prints were not there! There was no summary inside of what I had ordered, but the outside said 25 4x4 prints. The pharmacist Bobby always goes out his way to make sure I'm taking my medications correctly and always explains to me everything when it comes to my medication I dearly appreciate that this Walgreens is awesome and Bobby the pharmacist is awesome definitely recommend this place to anyone. This review is specific to pharmacy. It takes them hours to fill simple prescriptions and that is if the customer follows up. The drive thru is INSANE in terms of wait and service. There seems to be the same guy there every time i go and he is both unfriendly, slow, and has no clue what he us doing. Ive tried to pick up scrips at various times of day and its always the same. Ill be number 1 or 2 in line and wait 20+ minutes! What the heck is taking so long? All they have to do is grab the ready to go bag and give it to me and this happens even with no customers inside. I also had an rx filled for my baby and asked for one of those adapter caps so i could easily fill the medicine syringe. The employee hands me one that doesnt come close to fitting the bottle. I tried to ask for a different one and the person just walked away ignoring me! I later found out the pharmacy didnt use the correct bottle to fill the rx with... nice- so they basically have no clue what is going on. read more

I'd like to give a shout out to Derek Ruszak, Manager of the Walgreens in Northfield, Illinois on Willow Road. My very elderly mother is dependent on her lightweight walker with handbrakes, which was given to us by someone who no longer needed it. After 2 months, that person called to say she needed it back in two hours. I frantically called all over and found one at the Northfield Walgreens. The manager, Derek, went above and beyond by assembling it and then adjusting it for us. Lifesaver! read more

I took my son to the clinic on a week-day morning, Thursday, we arrived prior to the clinic opening and were able to be seen at the 9 am time slot, the nurse was thorough and personable. I would rate the clinic 5 stars for service and efficiency. However, the pharmacy was busy with the drive through and the wait time for the prescribed medication was well over 30 minutes - we did not leave until 10:10, the wait was far too long. I will not return to the pharmacy to get further prescriptions filled. read more

I liked the selection here but I've never experienced a weirder shopping trip. Ever. I wasn't sure if it was the customer or the cashier who started it; they both seemed a bit grumpy. It was literally a yelling match between the two. The customer seemed like an asshole and the cashier probably just had a hard day. She rang me up with a scowl, but eh, I won't hold it against her. There were customers there who were actually sticking up for the cashier, and telling the customer to back off, which I thought I was nice. The cashier wasn't completely innocent, though. As I said, she was already in a bad mood and being snarky with other customers, but the one customer just seemed like a mean/rude woman-hater. In my head, I'm like "I just came here to buy makeup. What the hell did I get myself into?" I'm curious to go back to see if the store is always like this. Of course, that won't be happening because I moved. I'll give it 3 stars, because although the employees were strange/rude/grumpy/etc, I liked the makeup selection, which was why I went in the first place. read more

Came by the healthcare clinic this afternoon as my son was showing signs of strep. The nurse (Jean DeLio) on staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. This happened a few years ago, but it still makes me upset. My husband was ill and needed an antibiotic. Because we have crappy insurance due to Obama Care, we decided he should make a trip to the Wellness Center to save some money. What a mistake. My husband was sitting, waiting for his turn, when one of the pharmacists came up and injected him with the flu shot... my husband was very ill and didn't even really realize what was happening. (You're NOT supposed to get flu shots when you're sick because it can be VERY dangerous and the guy giving the shot did NOT tell my husband what he was doing. We don't even believe flu shots are effective... we don't EVER take the flu shot). When my husband finally met with the Wellness Clinician, he was sent to the Emergency Room where he was diagnosed with Pneumonia and/or Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. Flu Shots are a joke and can be dangerous when sick... this flu shot could've be deadly. Obviously Walgreens is being subsidized someway by the amount of flu shots they are giving out. At the time, I called the Wellness Clinic to complain, and they did nothing... Awful awful awful. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. read more

They started some kind of rewards program and now you havae to wait in line FOREVER while the cashier explains the program to every customer in line then you have to wait while they sign-up these people.I used to just pop in there to grab a few things but nowit takes too long. Also the cashiers give you the 3rd degree about the items you are buying.Mind your own buisness please. read more
