They had to score all the whiskeys, identify if it was bourbon, rye or scotch, and whether the bottle was a premium brand or top shelf--and this put everyone in a dram good mood. It was a barrel of laughs, I could barley get in a word edgewise. But that's ok, I had to grain and bear it. Inevitably this led me turning to the internet for ways to explore my growing affection for wine. Up until this point I mistook french wine in particular to be "overrated" and bland. When I saw Knightsbridge offered the opportunity to deliver a relatively affordable 2 decade old Bordeaux from a reasonable vintage and grower at a good price, I took a leap and went for it. What transpired will forever have changed my view of french wine, leading me quickly down a rabbit hole I have yet to see the end of. All this to say: I believe in the reputability (storage conditions, authenticity of product, etc...)of their offerings as well as the fairness of the price point here.
