Bad is dirty and cramped indoors, and folks working there don't seem to want to be there. I don't have a problem with the gas itself - it is the same from station to station. Service Stations have changed over the years. They've upped their game when they have convenience stores and restaurants in them. This is an older BP station that has done none of those things. We'll still go there since it is convenient. If another station opens nearby which offers gas and is cleaner with more amenities, we will most certainly switch.

This Walgreens is large and airy, bright and clean, with a more upscale feel to it. It is fully stocked. One big advantage of this store is that it is opened 24 hours a day! Another factor that impresses me most is the store's management. It has not just one, but two very nice and helpful managers. It had happened that I had clipped a $9 digital coupon online. Its requirement was to spend $40(or $30?) in a Walgreens store and I would get the coupon when I checked out. However, it didn't happen even after I spent the required amount. Long story short, the female manager was very nice and helpful, she apologized and manually added a $10 credit to my Walgreens loyalty account. When I went home and checked my Walgreens account online, I didn't see the added $10. So, the next time I went to this Walgreens, I talked to another manager, Sergio. The female manager had gone for the day. Sergio was very patient, kind, and helpful. To our surprise, he found that I actually had two accounts with Walgreens (apparently a mixed-up done by the pharmacy of another Walgreens), one with a slightly different name. The female manager had somehow credited the account that I did not know I had, and therefore did not actively use. Sergio gave me the phone number of their tech support department that could help me eliminate one of the accounts (that I will call, I promise). When I was checking out, he rushed over to make sure that I could apply my $10 credit without any problems. Kudos to Sergio! Now, as I know that I have two accounts, I am mindful to tell the cashier which one to use, until I can get one eliminated, or get them combined.

They have a nice variety of ready made food right up in front, including now a fresh warm cooked korean sweet potato. Although it's not as large as the H-Mart in Niles, we've always been able to pick up the preferred items. We've bought fresh fruit and a lot of other basic Asian market staples from here, including some harder to find items like green tea pancakes. Checkout is pretty fast as well. Parking lot is smaller of course, probably more so since it's on almost triangular shaped intersection - however at least it's still easy to get in & out of since it is on the triangle intersection!

I ordered a bottle of shampoo online from CVS, pay for it, said we'd be in the next morning to pick it up which wife did. It turns out they didn't have the shampoo I ordered, so they substituted something entirely different. So I called the store, explained my situation, and was given over to "the big boss." Big boss was neither polite, helpful, or the least bit courteous. He asked if I had a receipt. I had the bag the shampoo came in but there was no receipt in the bag. I told him we picked this up from you this morning and it's the wrong product. Can you not manage your website? Do you not have it people? Do you have stock people that can interface with the IT department? "We're sorry we can't help you," Boss said. Quite honestly I wouldn't step foot in a CVS pharmacy again unless I needed a medication and Walgreens was completely out. Even then, I would do so reluctantly.
