I was in the area, so I grouped all my errands of the day close by. I picked up a box of chocolate to gift my sister from this Walgreens. It was the first time that I visited here. I noticed that this is the only Walgreens that has the Photo department (where you do pickups) connecting right to the general checkout counter. The woman at Photo was not particularly welcoming, she kind of complained that I clicked "I am here" on the app that instructed me to do so. She said once I clicked that, the clock would start timing her, she said I only needed to click that if I waited in my car by the sidewalk. I didn't see why it's a problem that I was already inside the store, and she didn't need to go outside. The chocolate was pre-bagged, she gave that to the cashier who scanned it. As I had already paid online, it was quick. I didn't spend too much time inside this store, but it looked smaller than the other Walgreens stores that I had been to. It's not as bright and looked quite dated. However, I was happy that they had this chocolate that's my sister's favorite at a discounted price, and the pickup was quick and smooth. read more

Horrible lines. Pharmacy closed on Sunday and early on Saturday. If my insurance gave me a choice it wouldn't be Walgreens

I'd highly recommend using a different pharmacy. We use this pharmacy by default as we live in walking distance. We've had multiple issues with it over the years. Trying to get a vaccine done here, we've had to try 3 different times for a single appointment due to their scheduled (but not posted) breaks. We received unmixed antibiotics for kids, and also not enough quantity on the same prescription. Most recently, I had my doctor send a prescription here. I didn't realize they only gave me 2/3 of what was prescribed, costing me a whole useless trip downtown, along with the whole joy of rescheduling. They could do much better. This is a high traffic location, and my guess is that it is very understaffed. read more

Booked an appt for a Covid test and made an appt hours in advance. Was informed that they have no tests literally when I just drove to the store and parked. Ummm, why wouldn't the pharmacy manager order more if they are running low? Seems like common sense to either do that or not take appointments. read more

This location has failed every time I visit. Long lines, slow checkout, out of stamps, missed picture development windows. If you can find another location I would suggest it. read more

I will forever refer to this place as the fancy Walgreens, because it's honestly one of the nicer ones I've been to. What I love most about this location is how large it is! The aisles are roomy with lots of traffic space... great for moms who need to bring their strollers in. It's extremely well-lit. My kids went nuts in here for some reason. They loved all the little extra gift items like 3D printed bookmarks at the photo processing area, and they immediately want to pick out a snack. When you first walk into the store, their makeup section is very appealing. It reminded me a bit of being in Ulta. One of the nicer selections I've seen. It's a Walgreens, so what more can one really say about it other than it's clean, upscale feeling and the guy behind the counter was super duper friendly! I will most certainly stop in again when I'm in the area. read more

There's a Walgreens at every corner of happy and healthy. It's the 3th Walgreens in Wilmette and it's where the old Border's used to be in Edens Plaza. It's convenient with plenty of parking and I like the new layout. Cosmetics dominates the store when you walk in and I can find almost every color of nail polish by Essie! Wonderful. The staff is nice and friendly and I can always find what I'm looking for here. It's not too big or too small, just right! The pharmacist was most helpful finding a coupon I could use in addition to the insurance copay and I saved $$. read more

I had an amazing experience with the Pharmacy staff. I was visiting my parents from CA and my insurance would not cover my prescriptions here in IL. The staff were so kind and went out of their way to help me find Walgreens discounts and memberships that lowered my cost significantly. After getting a day of bad news and customer service from my insurance, I felt so grateful to have such accomodating and helpful people to assist me at Walgreens! read more

My father was suffering a severe reaction, I bought his medicine and ran to the counter as fast as I could. ( I live down the block) I gave her whatever was in my pocket knowing his life was on the line. The employee then told me the money was fake, without telling me anything or showing me how the money was fake. I asked her how and that I would like her to show me. She stumbled and stuttered, wasting valuable time. I said "fuck it" took the money back and paid by card instead. Let me tell you, she was a total fucking prick like are fucking serious? You are scared that you are going to lose 6 dollars if the money is fake over my dad's life. You dont see the dire rush that I was in and how my hands were shaking? I dont know her name but I dont want to bother, all I knew was that she was dark skinned and had an accent, indian I presume. With the same cash later in the week I bought myself something and there was no complaints about the cash being fake. If you are reading this I hope you go screw yourself because when i came home my dad couldn't see out of his right eye because of your "unsureness". read more

Aaron in the pharmacy truly embodies great customer service. My dad went to refill diabetes maintenance prescriptions that can get pretty pricey and Aaron was not only kind and courteous, he went above and beyond by being knowledgable about a manufacturer coupon which he then helped my dad register for. Really great customer service is the reason we always go back to this particular Walgreens. read more

The store functions well, but man is it hard to arrive there. The stop sign in the plaza makes it difficult for cars to park quickly.
