My daughter and I have been doing the magic sleek (a defrizzing, straightening treatment) on our curly locks for a few years now. We've been happy with our treatment and stylist, but a friend recently switched to Jasmine and said the results were better than ever. My daughter had 2 days home between summer adventures so I figured it was worth trying Jasmine. She was booked when I reached out, but then the week of let me know she had a cancellation and could take her - whoo hoo! The entire process took 4.5 hours, which is long, but crazy enough less than the 5+ hours we usually spend doing this treatment. Jasmine herself was was super friendly and confident that my daughters hair would be better than ever with this treatment. I was hopeful, but skeptical. She got to work right away with a few assistants helping with the process. When I picked up my daughter I was shocked how straight and smooth her hair was after just running a blow dryer thru it for a few minutes. My daughter was thrilled, although she hoped it would be a little wavy after braids since she doesn't like it perfectly straight. She took off for camp the next day, but the only letter I've gotten in the mail is (no joke) "my hair is totally straight." And based on the camp pictures I've been amazed by how well it took to her hair. It looks a little wavy at the ends and I'm guessing she's likely sleeping in braids to get it to curl a bit. We usually have to do this treatment every 5 months. Jasmine thought every 6-12 months, but our roots grow in so curly that I'd be shocked if we could go that long. I'm also interested in trying Jasmine for the magic sleek, but she thought other treatments would be better for my blonde (highlighted) hair like the keratin express. It's tough to please a 13 year old when it comes to hair (and other things), but I think Jasmine did it! read more

Three stars for the salon. Five stars for the stylist. I went here because I got a Groupon. Sydney did a GREAT job with my hair. I found her to be very professional and Covid conscious. She even offered to cut my hair outside after I expressed concerns over other clients lack of masks. I would not hesitate to see her again. The salon unfortunately does not appear to have a mask policy for clientele. No signage is posted about mask wearing, temperatures aren't taken and hand sanitizer is available but not required. The receptionist even attempted to take my phone from me without asking to see the Groupon code and made no attempt to use hand sanitizer until after I blocked her attempt to take my phone without asking. They didn't have a scanner. Of the four clients in the salon during my appointment time, I was the only one wearing a mask. The staff would ask others to put them on, but the clients would not adhere to the requests. I very much had the feeling that they were only making it a deal because I had expressed previous concerns. read more
