I LOVE this place!! I use to go to a tanning salon in Lincolnshire, but it closed down. This place is my new favorite tanning salon. I haven't gone to Toucan in a while, but if I could afford it, I totally would go back there. If anyone is a person who loves to tan, like myself, you would know by now that LA Tan, isn't that great compared to businesses like this. I have gone to LA Tan multiple times. People who work there, work there because they need a job. I have never met a person at LA Tan who actually knew what they were doing. Most of the beds there have broken lights, and the beds are not amazing. What turned me against LA Tan had been my experience with a tanning salon in Lincolnshire. Once that place closed, I found Toucan Tan. It has the same atmosphere as the old place I use to go to. There are towels in the room. If you go often enough, the people recognize you. The manager had been the one who helped me sign up and he remembered me when I came back a week later. I think that what makes a business great. The prices aren't that bad. I haven't gone there in a few months. But I use to go when I worked in Northbrook. I highly recommend it and if you live around Glenview, you should check this place out. read more

Wonderful experience. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding last weekend (pale pink dresses!) and was in desperate need of a spray tan. I had never been sprayed by a person before, only the booths with just OK results in the past. I wanted to look good (without streaks) for the wedding, so despite some anxiety, I booked a staff member to spray me instead of a self application booth. The staff who sprayed me was professional and personable - gave me just enough color to not look fake - and I didn't smell like a tanning bed the rest of the day! It was pretty much perfect. At $30, it doesn't break the bank and I looked perfectly natural. Would highly suggest coming here if you are a first timer getting sprayed by another person - thought it would be awkward - but actually ended up being the best experience with great results. Spray tan came out super lovely! The spray tan technicians are mainly female but the owner is male and occasionally is the one doing the spray tans. A lot of girls may be scared off by a male doing their spray tan, but I have to say he was extremely professional and respectful and it felt almost like a clinical setting. He also knows how to pick a shade that'll match your skin tone and undertone, I had a great experience and my tan from Toucan was one of the best I've had. read more

Toucan Tan is extremely clean every time I go in there. Not only that, but the beds are great and the service is wonderful. The pricing is somewhat higher than other places, but it is completely worth it here! I will continue to tan here whenever I have a vacation or occasion coming up. I have had over 5 airbrush tans here and they both turned out great and lasted a whole week! I would definitely recommend this service! During a high school dance week trying to get a spray tan getting in and out can be stressful but not here! They take care of you so well and the people their are very nice and do a great job and make you as comfortable as possible. The tan itself was amazing and couldn't be happier. I went here the Friday before a wedding I was in for some airbrush tanning. I thought my tan turned out very natural, even, and didn't have any funny smell or anything. I got a spray tan. It came out great! It looked really natural. My only criticism would be that I wasn't told that a man would be spraying me when I made the appointment. I thought he did a great job, but I would have liked to have been more prepared with the proper attire for a man to spray me. read more

Toucan Tan has several beds as well as spray tanning. I have only used the beds. I feel like the tanning is good. Sometimes it gets crowded and you have to wait for a good while, but I guess that means it is quality and a lot of people like to use them. I'll be back. read more

Came here a little over a month ago for a spray tan. Very clean facility but I was even more pleased with the outcome of my tan. There were no streaks whatsoever and the tan was very even all over. Looked very real (not orange) and I will definitely be coming back! read more
