By far, the best nails in Glenview maybe Chicago as a whole. I can't say enough about how impressed I was with every aspect of this salon, my experience, and the results. My nails are perfection, and I would recommend the salon to anybody in the Chicagoland area as even if it's a trip for you, it will be worth it.. couldn't be happier to find this Salon right in my backyard. I can confidently say I'm sure every artist there is amazing but I can specifically recommend Daniel as my ATF nail artist who is now stuck with me for life. I don't understand the bad reviews and am glad I ignored them because I've had nothing but a great experience here. I've been three times so far (two French manicure dip, one bio gel) and three pedicures and they've all been great and I've been charged what I expected. Pedicure was nice, but afterward I was charged an unexpected extra $5 for "callous treatment." I was never asked during my pedicure if I wanted that and would have declined if I knew it was an up-charge. (I've also never been charged extra at a salon for callous removal. All they did was scrape away callouses, nothing outside of what's standard at every salon I've ever been to.) A very disappointing way to end the appointment to have a surprise charge that I didn't agree to. I won't be back, which is a bummer because it's nice that they have a full bar available. read more

Found this place after having an amazing breakfast just across the street. Needless to say I was really excited to give it a shot! I could see through the window that they still had sneeze guards and required masks which provided this pregnant mama a lot of extra comfort. I called to book and requested and confirmed a 2:45 spa pedicure for me and also booked a 3PM basic for my husband. I requested to soak my feet longer before starting (pregnant) and honestly just needed to take a load off and I HATE rushed pedicures where you're feet barely sit in the water. We arrived and as soon as we entered, there was already friction. No welcome nothing --We arrived at 2:34 ... remember my appointment was confirmed for 2:45. We were greeted with, "Are you here for a 3PM?" I said no I booked a 2:45 for my self and my husband is. Getting a basic at 3. The gentleman then told me that isn't my appointment time and that they moved us both to 3PM. I asked him again if I could soak my feet at 2:45. He walked off and started on someone's nails instead of responding. I say for 10 and again asked. Same minimal response with no eye contact or the slightest apology for changing the appointment or unwillingness/inability to honor my request. Needless to say we left. Sucks that you can barely find a decent spa pedicure in the north shore... guess I'll be driving back into the city for decent service. read more

I visited spa for the first time for dip and pedi. Started off good but I walked out the door and noticed my polish on big toe and was smudged. The nail tech fixed it and said it was as dry I get to my car and see it's smudged again. I had just ordered dinner pickup which was ready so had to pick up food and go back to nail salon. He asks if I could call me back later and since I live 20 minutes away I said no. Nail tech fixed it for the second time and I waited 15 minutes. This was as suppose to be a relaxing visit to nail salon and ended up to be quite time consuming and stressful. The owner of as there and did/said nothing. Daniel does a fantastic job on my bio gel manicures. My only complaint is that it takes almost 90 minutes because he is constantly needing to get up and help customers who walk in the door. He also has to run the credit card payments for customers as well. Is there not person that handles the reception area? I think there used to be someone who handled the transactions. I really love the manicures, but it is not relaxing for me as I watch the clock while Daniel is stuck taking care of customers. read more

Worst experience ever. I had an appointment at 10am which I received a confirmation text for. When I arrived they said I did not have an appointment. I asked if I should come back at a later time. Daniel said that I should stay. I sat for 30 minutes before Daniel came back and started prepping my nails. He was going between myself and another customer and did not change his gloves between. After the manicure prep, I was moved to the pedicure chair where I sat for 15 minutes before anyone has come over. My feet are also in stagnate cold water because the whirlpool was not working. It is now 11am and I still have no polish on my nails and haven't even started my pedicure. Finally a someone came over and stared to paint my nails. Everything was rushed. I was there for 2 hours and only was assisted for an hour of that time. After looking at other reviews is seems this place has gone down the tubes, quality of service is horrible. I would not recommend going. Imperial Nails on Waukegan is way better. Amazing staff. Go there instead. read more

Every time I come here I always leave with fabulous nails, being worth the price. I recently got my nails done by Vince and really enjoyed my experience. He preps my nails very well without cutting my skin or giving pain to my nail beds. He always makes sure you like the end result and is open to fixing anything. read more

My absolute favorite nail salon in all of Chicagoland. So relaxing and the staff are wonderful, caring, and very attentive. Maggie is my go-to every few weeks for a mani pedi and she does a wonderful job always! The salon is very beautiful, but their quality of manicures does not last. My daughter got a no chip and within two days there was a chip! Also, I got a regular manicure and that started to go within 48 hours and I wasn't even washing anything. What I'm more upset about is the no chip, we've never had something chip that quickly. My husband and I stop in about once a month for their seasonal pedicure. We go here mostly because of its convenient location near us in the Glen. The seasonal includes several moisturizing massages, a scrub, hot towels and paraffin. And of course, the regular pedicure part as well. They have many colors to choose from and their painting is always really good. Their pedicure chairs have a massage feature which is nice, but they lack padding in the butt area. After about a half hour its a little uncomfortable. They put a plastic liner in the bowls and they ALWAYS seem to come off several times during the pedicure.. its annoying. I could live without it but its not a deal breaker. But we return month after month because the staff is nice and its convenient and we can almost always get an appointment. I have had my finger nails done a few times because my regular place was booked. If this review was for that it would be 1 star. They say they have gel, but they use acrylic. Also, they cant do nail art, they try, but they just cant. At least the guy i had cant. It was embarrassing for the both of us. My husband has had a basic manicure and said it was OK. So i guess if you are going for that its OK. Its amazing the difference in service. Go for the pedicure, think twice if you have fancy gel nails or want a no chip. read more

Just left after a dip and pedicure. Technician Steven missed with his auto filer twice on the same finger. Second time I was bleeding. He said sorry then said to relax my thumb (I guess meaning it was my fault he cut me?). At the end of the service he was applying eucalyptus oil to the cut saying to keep it clean. Also charged me full price and never apologized at the end or offered to do something -- like at least get me a bandaid. I would have expected some sort of comped service to be honest. After a year of going here I will never return. Previously I had another technician who cut a cuticle on my foot and again. Nothing done or said to me except a quick sorry. Do not waste your money. I love the Anthony Vince in South Barrington, but I have been to the Glenview location twice now and am always disappointed. My most recent visit was especially egregious. I came in for a regular pedicure and the chairs are dingy, seem unclean and the water was cold. I told the tech that the water needed to be warmed up and instead of turning the faucet on, she just got a cup of hot water and threw it in-which did nothing. During the actual grooming of my nails, the tech made my nails uneven and did not do a thorough job at removing cuticles. Once I was done, I was given no help with my things or shown where to dry my feet. The tech simply brought a machine to me to pay and then left me without another word. I had to get up and walk around until I found an employee to ask where I should be drying my feet. I will never return, this was a total waste of money. Normally I don't take other people's complaints seriously but the manager was on the phone-clearly hearing a complaint while I was sitting there and it makes sense why. read more

Completely disappointed. This is the third time in the last two years where I have scheduled an appointment in advance, only to arrive for my scheduled time to find that my appointment time was given to a walk-in or simply not placed in their booking system. I confirmed my appointment days prior only to arrive and they "can't find me in the system". They rescheduled my appointment for tomorrow, but I'm not exactly confident that it will be a success. I scheduled this appointment for a formal event. My time is limited due to other appointments all related to the event. The time and planning that goes into the preparations for this event is complex and meticulous. Having a previously arranged appointment time given to a walk-in is absolutely unprofessional and in no way does it reflect quality customer service. Hands down, Anthony Vince has the best nails in Glenview- but the service, lack of professionalism, and to put simply- distrust for booking appointments has caused me to walk away and look elsewhere. Please take this into consideration when booking here. Otherwise you may have to juggle with the idea that your pre-scheduled appointment will not be available upon arrival, and without any prior notice. Shame on you Anthony Vince. read more

Disappointed by this nail salon. I went in a couple weeks ago for a no chip manicure. It took an hour and a half. The gentleman did what he wanted never asked me. Went to a different technician yesterday to get nails off and a regular manicure and she was incredibly rude. After taking off the polIsh discovered that my nails were completely ruined from the previous manicure I had been there, brittle, ridges, not smooth, they looked horrible. The staff was rude and unapologetic. They charged to have them taken off. Couldn't care less about their customers. I will not be returning. I came to Anthony Vince after receiving awful service at another nail location that will remain undisclosed. Andy cleaned up my nails which didn't match initially and shaped them in a way that complimented my hand shape and looks more feminine. The first was a chrome set, and the next was an electric blue matte set with extra flare! I am so happy with the outcome and look forward to every visit because I feel like a whole new person afterwards. Why you may ask? Well, you don't get just the generic "Hi, how are you?" and asked to pick a color followed by an awkward silence for the next hour. They ask you what you want, make sure you are happy with your nail shape and make sure every details is to your specifications no matter what service you select. While dip is encouraged, they do a fine job of an acrylic set. A complimentary beverage is always offered, too, free, which I didn't expect, which shows they appreciate your business and loyalty. Might I add that the building which houses this business looks well-maintained and always clean! The staff are super knowledgeable and always try to fit you in even if your appointment is last minute or even a walk in, cos lets face it with how busy we all are, it happens. This is the ONLY place I've found that does a professional chrome manicure which I totally recommend for your first visit; always ask for Andy for your needs! Anyone here is quite good, however, and well trained. Always with a smile on their face, too! The owners are quite kind and come by sometimes to make sure really like what you are getting. If you have any issue or request do not hesitate to ask them. They always address any ideas or questions you may have no matter what so if you have an issue feel free to get your money's worth. They are not mind readers! I've worked in customer service for many years and this location marks all of the check boxes. Prices are reasonable too and they will never overcharge you, period. Here, you definitely get what you pay for! I'm in awe of the service and experienced techniques they use. I'll definitely never go anywhere else! I literally wasted my time and money! This is the result after 4 hours of getting a pedicure. She had put such a thick layers of nail polish that after 4 hours of being careful and thinking it dried my toes look like this. When I called I did not receive not ONE apology! I called to see if they can fit me in to fix my toes, which would have taken literally 5 min! To fix 2 nails, she said we are not available. I could not make it to my original appointment as I had a meeting. I had a great experience here! I did a walk in and was warmly welcomed - no wait time. They hung my coat for me, guided me to the dip color selection. They have a ton of colors to choose from! The experience started out quite nice, the salon is clean and they take COVID-19 seriously. My technician was completely incompetent, as I was looking to have dazzle dry nail polish applied. They didn't use the appropriate base and topcoat, luckily she did such a poor job that she decided to start over again all by herself. At that point I have decided to switch to regular nail polish as there's no point to pay surcharge for terrible job. The shape of my nails is pretty unrecognizable, she did a terrible job filing them.The kicker was at the end, when I went to check out, Daniel was rude and beyond annoyed that I didn't pay at the manicure table, however nobody told me that that's where they would like to take their payment. Came by today with a friend who is in town visiting, and we both had pedicures and massages, and everything was wonderful! They have definitely added additional staff. Julie is still here and amazing as always. Today Steven did my pedicure, and it was outstanding. He gives a great leg/foot massage. My 60 min massage was with Mando, and it was fantastic! Amazing place. Kim did an incredible job on my toes and she made sure that everything was cleaned out and they are left in tip top shape. They have 4 type of pedicures that they offer starting from $35 and all the way too $65. I opened out for a $50 version and with it I got cleaning, massage, paraffin treatment, scrub with steam treatment. Also I did no chip cause I like the convenience of just walking out of the salon. Awful experience. It took my nail tech 1 hour and 40 minutes to complete my nail dipping which was incredibly puzzling. It was clear that he did not know what he was doing and, on top of that, he was not friendly. The worst part was that I left with hardened powder all over my finger tips. This review is for waxing services. I have no issue with the quality and service for pedicures and dip manicures. I had booked an appointment for my husband and I to have mani/pedi and for me to have a regular bikini wax before our recent vacation, as is my usual custom. The waxing was a traumatizing experience. The process took much longer than it usually does. The technician had trouble removing wax from my skin. In her efforts to remove the wax from my thigh the technician repeatedly touched me in a spot that seemed inappropriate, even after I suggested she was getting "too personal." The service seemed more painful than usual and, because she took so long, it was agonizing. Beware. read more
