Manya's Salon is located in Boulevard Plaza, and they offer threading and waxing services, as well…read moreas facials and henna. They do accept walk-ins, which was great - just note that they do get a steady flow of patrons, so the wait time may take 10+ minutes. We came here for threading services, but was surprised that 95% of the service was done using wax. I am not sure if there was a hearing or a communication issue, but I did call ahead to confirm as well as stated the specific request in person, so there shouldn't have been any confusion? I am thinking this pivot of the service was due to the pressure of attending to all the waiting customers, and since there was only one person on shift, everything was rushed through. The results were okay, but could have been a bit more cleaned up and more attentive. Due to the high reviews on this place, we thought it would have been exponentially better. Unfortunately, we will be returning to our usual salon. If a service amounts to $25+, they will accept card; otherwise, it's cash only. +$25+ services accept card; all others require a cash payment +swapping of threading to waxing +located in Boulevard Plaza +parking available in lot

So with the exception of covid when my eyelashes and eyebrows looked pretty scary I've seen Kim every 3 weeks for about the last decade. She's amazing at her job and I love that she makes eyelashes look super natural vs some other places I've seen. When she was out sick years ago I got an eyelash fill elsewhere and it was such a disaster that I vowed I'll never stray from Kim again. Months ago my eyelashes were having issues sticking and Kim even took the time to go thru all the products I was using to make sure nothing had oil in them- months later we seem to be back on track! Kim is also speedy; I"m always in and out within an hour. Her pricing is fair and for someone who spends ALL day on video calls I really love having lashes and feel "naked" when I don't have them. She's in high demand so I do always makes sure I book 3 weeks ahead of time, but she goes out of her way to always squeeze me in at a time that works well around my busy job and mom life.
