Tejal is amazing. I am new to the area and I came across this waxing salon. She is very quick and clean when doing my waxing. The salon is also very clean and sanitary. I will definitely recommend her. read more

Manya's Salon is located in Boulevard Plaza, and they offer threading and waxing services, as well as facials and henna. They do accept walk-ins, which was great - just note that they do get a steady flow of patrons, so the wait time may take 10+ minutes. We came here for threading services, but was surprised that 95% of the service was done using wax. I am not sure if there was a hearing or a communication issue, but I did call ahead to confirm as well as stated the specific request in person, so there shouldn't have been any confusion? I am thinking this pivot of the service was due to the pressure of attending to all the waiting customers, and since there was only one person on shift, everything was rushed through. The results were okay, but could have been a bit more cleaned up and more attentive. Due to the high reviews on this place, we thought it would have been exponentially better. Unfortunately, we will be returning to our usual salon. If a service amounts to $25+, they will accept card; otherwise, it's cash only. +$25+ services accept card; all others require a cash payment +swapping of threading to waxing +located in Boulevard Plaza +parking available in lot read more

I usually stray away from finding new places to get my eyebrows done because I'm scared they'll take too much off. I was at old orchard mall and wanted to get them done nearby before a trip, so I found this salon. It's in a small strip mall. I called ahead and asked how much an eyebrow wax is. She told me $10 cash only. I had $9 and some change. She did great with the waxing, it was quick and I don't have as much redness as I usually do which is amazing! She also threaded them after to clean them up, which I've never had done before but it was not painful at all. She said they don't take change, so if you need to pay with card you can but they have an extra dollar fee for using a card. I didn't mind it. I ended up loving my eyebrows more than the place I always go to, which is much further away. I will come back next time for sure! She did an amazing job. read more

She knew exactly what to do and did my eyebrows in like 5 min! Loved my eyebrows after, very satisfied

No appointments, only walk ins. Super easy to walk in, not a long wait at all. The woman just knows what she's doing. I just said I needed to clean my brows and she knew it too. She asked if she could shaped them a bit and it gave me a better and cleaner look. read more

I got a new job in Evanston and was on the lookout for a good eyebrow threading place. I'm happy to have found Manya Salon! It is $8 for eyebrow threading which is a great deal. Just popped in for a Brazilian as I was in the area and I had a really lovely experience! It may sound odd to say a Brazilian was lovely, but the pain was quite tolerable and it was fast and efficient. The owner was so sweet and kind. Manya's be a staple from here on out. Thank you! read more

I encountered a very unkind woman at this establishment. I arrived and waited at the counter for at least two minutes without anyone attending. When she finally came, she seemed extremely grumpy that I had entered. I inquired about her well-being, but she provided short and curt responses, prompting me to remain silent. I value a warm welcome when visiting a business, but unfortunately, I didn't receive one here. Additionally, I didn't notice the sign indicating the eyebrow service cost, and she was quite harsh about it. I felt guilty for paying $15 instead of the original $8, which was the service price. I will definitely not be returning to this establishment. She truly embodies the most inhumane behavior I've ever encountered. The vibe was extremely uncomfortable and felt like I was unwanted. When she did my eyebrows she didn't even wipe my brows for me and never applied any cooling solution like every other place I've been too. Such a bad experience. It doesn't deserve a single star read more

Well shoot. If I can trust this place with my vagina and there not be any complications, then that's all you really need to know! Best, most symmetrical, efficient Brazilian wax ever. On top of that; got the eyebrows cleaned up and dyed which was 10/10. Found my new favorite salon! I will be telling my family and friends about how this place practically oozes excellence! read more

Just wrapped up my second waxing with Manya Salon, and seriously, all these reviews are true. I got my first wax ever here, and it was a Brazilian. She is FAST, incredibly nice, doesn't take appointments, and the pain totally doable bearable. Her prices are also more than reasonable. I didn't hardly break out, and it thinned out my Brazilian area big time! This second time, a long with a Brazilian, I also waxed my full legs and under arms, and then got my chin threaded. I found the Salon with these reviews, and so I hope someone finds her with this. To sum it up: first timer friendly, big girl friendly, she doesn't take appointments (walk ins only, but she's FAST), and make sure to leave a tip. read more

Well...yesterday I was looking for a place to get my eyebrows waxed and I came across with Manya's Salon. And I ended up getting a full face, bikini and legs waxed ... And OMG! what can I say?!? She was definitely the best!! Really Professional and friendly. I feel like I was in and out really quick. Prices are very reasonable for the incredible job that she does. The place is clean and she was using gloves. Another thing as well. My skin is very sensitive and I tend to get a lot of acne and irritated skin with a lot of other products specially on my face, but with the wax, and the aloe Vera that she used on me, my face feels normal and I didn't got irritated skin at all. So...I'm so happy about it. I will definitely recommend her and I can't wait until next time to get my eyebrows done again they came out really perfect . I love it! read more

First time going here, i would give 5 stars but i did wait for about 25 minutes so thats the only negative. had 2 other people waiting after me. BUT for the positives, my eyebrows are on more "on fleek" than ever, and she asked to tint them bc i had some emptier brow spots that she said would take about 2 or 3 more sessions to grow out. the tint was my first time and scary but helped a lot to perfect the look. Looking fw to returning read more

Excellent service. This was my first time going to Manya's for eyebrow threading and I was impressed. My eyebrows have never looked better! Upon arriving, Manya greeted me and let me know that there was a wait (about 15 min). I understood and decided to run a quick errand and come back. Manya was efficient and her ability to shape brows is astounding! In the past, it has been difficult for others to shape my brows but Manya did it with ease. She advised that I get an upper lip wax as well. I told her I never waxed my face before and she ensured that it would be quick and easy-- I didn't feel pressured to have it done but she convinced me and I'm glad that I did. I will definitely continue to go to Manya for eyebrows and waxing. I would recommend her salon to anyone! read more
