My wife went here today and received terrible service. She came in for a simple blow out and was given the most difficult time by a hair stylist. The stylist was an older asian lady with straight hair (did not catch her name). My wife was constantly criticized for having the hairstyle that she did and apparently inconvenienced the hair stylist due to her hair being "too cooked" as she tried forcefully brushing her hair. The hair stylist was visibly upset and more aggressive throughout a task that I presumed she's done hundreds of times before. It got to the point where the criticizing and aggressive brushing was too much to tolerate and my wife got up and left mid service. The manager was an ear shot away from all of this and did not diffuse the situation or offer any reconciliation when it was all over. Edit: I have increased my review from 1 start to 3. The owner offered a full refund and an apology to my wife on the employee's behalf. While no one deserves this kind of service, theres at least some consolation knowing that the owner cares about the experience of her customers. That hair stylist, however, should not be in an industry that involves servicing humans. read more

I have been coming to this salon for over two years. The only two people I trust with my eyebrows is the owner and Dina. Lately, Dina is the only person who has been doing my eyebrows and she is very thorough. The prices are fair, they have great hours, and they are always friendly. This place is crazy and the owner of this salon has two price chart. One price chart is more expensive than the other.The owner, mini pulls the price chart according to the paying capacity of the customer. I went to this salon to get a hair cut and it was the worst I ever got. I asked for a layer cut. She was so unorganized and she was going around getting her things that was all over the place. When I told her I needed a layer cut she just started to talk about what she is gonna do than what I want her to do. She just told me that she is going to cut my hair in two layers. I told her that I need three layers. She was giving all the reasons that since my hair is long and straight it would look bad at the end, and at the end I had to give up let her do two layers only. BUT, the funny thing is that I could only find one layer at the end of my hair cut. It was more like trimming my hair than making a layer cut. Also, I asked her to keep the length same and she said she cutting a little bit at the end to make it prettier and I had to give in again. She did all what she wanted and she showed me at the end and I was like OMG, where is my long hairs and the layers. She cut off like 2 inches from my hair length to make it look prettier and here I can't even find where are the two layers. I asked her where are the layers and she held up a bunch of hair and said this is the first layer and this is the second layer. I told her that this not what I wanted and I have done layer cut before, and this doesn't look like that at all and she offered me that she can cut again. I knew I couldn't just let her have another chance and do experiment on my hair. I would never recommend anyone this place ever. This was the worst hair cut which actually made me feel that even I can be a hair cuter, better than her though. read more
