This is a small, family spot. One of those hidden places that's amazing. Food is always fresh and good. Service is always good and everything there is so nice. We always come here and know what to expect and it's always amazing. If there's ever a mistake, I know they will fix it right away without hesitating but there's never a problem for us. Highly recommend coming here. Drunken noodle is always my go to. Seafood pancake is good as well ! If you love tom kha (coconut soup) but you want noodles, get the sizzling wok noodles. I think it's underrated here! Boat noodle is always good too !

Dissapointed.and looks so dry and the serving 4pcs of small dried pork.

I was really looking forward to this meal, but unfortunately I was disappointed. The meat seemed dry, and the serving size was quite small with too much rice. I expected better quality and a more balanced portion.

Our go to thai spot on the north side of LB! Complimentary to the chef at this little gem. The flavors are authentic and you can definitely taste the fresh hot off the wok taste and smell. My favorite go to for noodle soup is their spicy tom yum noodle soup (spicy noodle)I always order this at other thai restaurants but they do not make it like this place. Hands down the best thus far! Everything else here is delicious. Give them a try! You won't regret. It's a small casual sit down and dine spot. Service is friendly. Also, ask for the comp sweet tea, it's super refreshing.

Went there for a second time, maybe the place updated and upgraded..... to my surprise, but not so much.... It was still the same... ordered seafood noodle soup with extra offerings on my Musselshell n poop that was still left in the shrimp.... Service was mid, nothing to get excited about....

This place is HEAVEN sent. A hidden treasure in a secret cave. I have been living around my whole life and never discovered this place till one day we decided to try it and oh my God, who has been hiding this secret to satisfy my taste buds all this time?! I crave this place often, it's lowkey a bit of a problem. The staff feels very family oriented and tight knit which in turn feels like I am going to someone's house to enjoy a nice bowl of soup. I have gone here for my birthday as a little lunch treat for myself and my only complaint is that I crave it sometimes on Sundays and then realize they aren't open! The atmosphere and everything is great though, parking is always easy and I always get seated immediately and my food comes quick. Everything feels and tastes like it's made with love. It is cash only but they have options to zelle/venmo if needed. This spot is my secret thai oasis

The second of the 2 hairs found. The first one was thrown away because things happen but after finding this one, it was unacceptable.

If you want hair in your food come here. Ordered $128 worth of food to have not just 1, but 2 hairs in 2 separate entrees!!! Owner had the audacity to only refund us half the price of both the dishes ($17). Would've been happy with refunding the total cost of the 2 entrees with the hair in them. All the proof has been posted. We're not trying to scam the owner for a free meal. Picture of all the food returned to the store, receipt of how much they gave us back, proof of how much money given back, and hair. Only have one picture of the hair, cause we were going to let the first hair slide and threw it away, because things happen. But 2 hairs in 2 separate entrees is unacceptable. I barely ever write reviews but this place had me livid with the way they handled this situation.

Still worth the drive to Long Beach to get our fill of very good Cambodian food that I've yet to find up north. Parking was still a challenge and I dropped the family in front of the restaurant first so they can join the waitlist. This time I could only find a spot a few blocks away but by the time I walked back to the restaurant, the family got seated. The menu still had the same great options and prices but starting June 1st prices will be increasing. Definitely understandable in this inflationary environment. My favorite every time has been the loat cha with chicken such that the family knows never to ask what am I getting. We've tried the rest of the menu but the family has standardized on their noodle soups or rice porridge bowls. You can count on lots of ingredients, choices of noodles and rich tasting broths. The cha quai (bread stick) must also be ordered as the perfect pairing for dipping. We also ordered the nom sa-kieu (like a fried meat empananda) again and will continue. We ended our meal with a round of iced coffees for the table, strong and delicious. Not bitter at all. Hopefully we'll be back sooner than later.

They had these cool lanterns, and metal soda signs in Thai. Plus umbrellas below the ceiling. The menu looked really cool, like it was from a newspaper that is colored. The plates had roosters on it. I loved the ambiance for sure. We saw a couple order a few things I asked what they had ordered. One was grilled pork neck and they suggested the Tom Yum Mama Seafood soup and for dessert mango and sticky rice. I also got green thai tea for drink. We got it all mild because my spice tolerant isn't as good as it use to me, and my mom usually tolerates mild as well in regards to spice. The presentation of the food is great. I came in on Saturday with my daughter to enjoy an early dinner. It was around 5pm, and not too many people were dining at that time. I dined in as part of the Yelp Elite Experience (YEE). They greeted me kindly, took my name down and sat us down at one of the small tables against the wall. The YEE include a ramen of my choice and a two-piece appetizer of crispy rice and spicy tuna. I opted for the tonkatsu ramen and ordered an additional one for my daughter even though I knew she wouldn't even finish half. Leftovers for me to enjoy later I also ordered a cranberry juice for her and the rooibos iced tea for myself. I very much enjoyed the iced tea and appreciated the menu recommending it as a perfect companion to ramen. Although it's unsweetened, it had a refreshingly natural sweetness to it. To my ramen, I added black garlic oil and chili paste. The broth was very delicious, flavorful and rich. I'm not a huge pork eater anymore, which I need to remind myself of. I did really enjoy my ramen, however, next time I'll have to try another protein, extra egg instead of pork or give the vegan ramen a try, for my own good. Thank you to our server Mel for being very sweet and patient with my daughter and me. She also explained the service fee very well. Heads up that there is an automatic 17.68% service charge added for dine-in orders. I believe I did see it mentioned on the menu, but the man who sat us (possibly a shift manager?) also pointed it out somewhat quickly. However, there was some confusion upon paying because I had explained to Melanie that I wanted to tip on what the total would have been without the promotion; that's just how I've been taught to tip regardless of there being a free or discounted item on the check. So I was adding it up on my phone to see what "I owed" for service. I confirmed that everything looked good on the receipt and she ran my card without the option of me being able to add an additional tip. Something about how most people won't pay more on top of the included service charge, which I get completely, but I felt bad because I got free items and wanted to leave a more comprehensive tip. I'll have to go back soon and try that vegan ramen and more of that tea

While HiroNori is a SoCal chain, it still feels like a mom and pop restaurant. The crispy rice with tuna was EXCELLENT! Everything you want from crispy rice and spicy tuna. The tonkatsu was delicious! Great depth of flavor. They bring you garlic and spicy paste on the side. I had to add A LOT of spicy paste to get it up to the level I wanted, but while at other restaurants I've lost the broth flavor when adding too much spice, the spicy paste just enhanced the tonkatsu broth. And the pork in the tonkatsu - truly next level. This is probably the best pork I've ever had in a ramen dish. The noodles were also fantastic with the perfect amount of bite. I loved my jammy egg as well. The restaurant itself is smaller, with fun lighting. There is a parking lot which is great. They do not have tipping, instead they have a service charge of a little over 17%. Definitely worth it!
