This restaurant failed me by serving moldy cabbage in my papaya salad. I understand sometimes these things happen, but when I pointed this out to two different servers, they just took the moldy cabbage away and never spoke of as if it never happened. At least I expected an apology, this is where I got annoyed. An nonchalant attitude toward serving moldy cabbage and a "so what's you problem attitude." A simple apology and a correction would have sufficed, instead they ignored the problem and charging me for it. Fail! On the positives: Other foods we ordered were ok, such as panang and patay. Place has nice decor and inexpensive menu( most items 8.99). read more

Was looking for good Pad Thai and this hit the spot! It was not clumpy and stuck together! The noodles were easy to pick up, every bite of the noodles was flavorful. Ordered Chicken Pad Thai via Postmates. The meat was a little dry but after encountering lots of stuck together Pad Thai tasting like rubber on food delivery apps that can be overlooked. I want to clarify for anyone who saw the photos I posted. Sizzling thai features a wonderful serving staff. They are extremely friendly and kind. I love that they will make fried rice with brown rice instead of white rice for an extra charge. We were just not happy with the lack of pork in our pork wontons. read more

First time I came the service was better and food was really good so I decided to come back a second time. On my second return I had a horrible experience. As I was paying my total, the server tried to force me to write down the amount of the bill where the tip section was. I was a bit confused because she kept saying to write the total down near the tip line but by the time I realized she was asking for a tip she said "oh you dont have money?". I Checked my bank statement and saw that I was charged more than the overall total I signed off. I Guess she ended up taking her tip after all. Crazy part is she wasn't even who helped us out, it was a younger women so made no sense that this older lady was trying to force a tip from us. Make sure to get your receipt because she didnt give me one and so I can't dispute it. Very disappointing read more

This place has always been a favorite, and they have not fell short during Covid. They are always so friendly and accommodating. Delivery is FAST! Food is yummy! If you pick up, they take it to your car. Any changes in ingredients are always welcome and they are always very nice. Not once have we had a bad experience and we order from them often. I had to give this place a try once I saw the Yelp reviews. Hate to say it, but it did not meet my expectations at all. In fact, out of all the Thai restaurants I have eaten at across the US, this is probably one of the worst in terms of food quality, second only to one in interior Alaska. I expected better from anywhere in California... The portions were definitely sizable, and I was worried how I was going to try some of everything since I absolutely love Thai food. Turns out I did not enjoy Sizzling Thai food and ended up losing my appetite. There was something off about each of the dishes... The pad see ew noodles tasted a bit old and hard, as if they were heated up multiple times. The vegetable egg rolls had a strong odd taste that I tried to douse in sweet and sour sauce to no avail. The chicken satay was all right, but the flavor got old as I bit into my second one. I will say that after all the odd flavors, the blander combination soup was soothing and yummy. When I was there, the service was also nowhere to be found. The bathroom door is also located outdoors in the back of the strip mall, which was okay but a little odd, haha. read more

He was very well spoken; sounded like he could have worked at a Michelin-starred restaurant previously - that's how professional he was! And I asked for extra sauce on my pad see ew BUT he politely recommended that I not go that route since the food would be less than desirable due to the high salt content with more sauce. I was in the mood for pad Thai but had no idea where we could pick some up around here so I came across this spot on yelp and decided to try. I called in an order and had my husband pick it up. The order was ready in 15 minutes (or less) as they had anticipated and it was all correct ( I asked for no egg on the pad Thai and sauce on the side for the chicken and broccoli) Also, my husband said they greeted him right away and were very friendly. The food was delicious and super hot when my husband brought it home. Definitely a cool spot to satisfy my pad Thai cravings every once in a while. They packaged everything perfectly, the drinks were in a separate bag with a piece of cardboard under to keep them from tipping over. I love this place, usually I get delivery because it's awesome that they deliver. The yellow chicken curry is amazing, that's my go-to but the chicken/beef satay or Pad Thai is also worth a try. One time my husband and I came here for carry out after a long night out...had to get some soup.
