Don't know why I haven't been there in 4 years but we went there Saturday and it was really good. Paid almost $30 for the classic trio+ salad bar+ soda and it was so delicious and good for the price .. our waitress was so nice and friendly, really good service thanks Zi! Good environment and clean.. plenty options to choose from

Dang, I ate at 2 Sizzlers within a week. While staying in Utah, we found Sizzlers and decided to dine here. Order at the counter, pay, then have a seat. Our server was nice, and so were all the workers. I had the steak and AYCE shrimp. The toast is always so good, and to my surprise, the steak was also good. Pretty good size restaurant, and they were busy. Whenever I'm in a town that has a Sizzlers, I'll definitely dine there.

Stay for the nostalgia, leave after a few bites of the food! I was legit pumped to come here and didn't bother to read any of the online reviews. I wish I did but oh well, lesson learned. I remember coming here as a kid in Chicagoland with my grandparents and parents a few decades ago. So when we passed by I was "No way". After passing by 6-8 times over several days, we came here for lunch on Wednesday. I was actually kinda shocked at the prices of some of the items especially since I thought the salad bar was included in all entrees. Nope. I did their Steak Sandwich - medium rare w fries and the salad bar. A waitress seats you and brings you your drinks. The elements for the salad was fine, the taco meat for the hard shells tacos was greasy and gross. The sandwich itself was ok as the bread felt like it was previously frozen and the fries were super salty. Fast forward to the soft serve ice cream and it's runny. I didn't appreciate some long haired male worker running his fingers through his locks without gloves and touching some of the plastic cups to be given to customers. Also for some odd reason, the floor was a little greasy. Thank god there are better steak places than this nostalgic joint.

I tried the cheddar broccoli soup for the first time, which was heavenly, and the calamari was good, too. As usual, the best items were the coconut-crusted halibut and the mud pie. I could eat those for weeks and not be sick of them.

Will you spend a little more than you would at Texas? yes, but every once in a while it's worth it. The calamari appetizer was maybe a 7/10. We both like our calamari very crunchy, it was more like a chicken strip. We found out the lettuce and onions weren't just for decoration underneath the calamari though, they went super well together and put it up to an 8/10. As you can see I DEVOURED my prime rib, 10/10. My boyfriend enjoyed his New York even though he didn't realize it was a bone in New York he also wished he would have gotten the au gratin potatoes because he tried mine and OH MY they were delicious. We got the crème brûlée and apple crisp and both were sooo good. Our server was so sweet and helpful, I can't remember her name but she had dark hair and worked Friday October 10th hehehe We will be back for our next special occasion!

4 Stars - Very Good Seafood, Nice Atmosphere, Service Could Be Better…read more Market Street Grill - South Jordan 10702 South River Front Parkway South Jordan, UT 84095 Visited: August 14, 2026 I dined at Market Street Grill for the first time with several colleagues and, overall, had a very good experience. The restaurant is very nicely appointed inside, was exceptionally clean, and had a comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely return. I will say that much of the menu is definitely on the pricey side. I ordered the Regular Fish & Chips Dinner ($24), which came with two nice-sized pieces of fish, french fries, coleslaw, and a generous bowl of clam chowder. The chowder was very good, and I also really enjoyed both the fries and coleslaw. I added the fried shrimp for $4, which I thought was actually a bargain. The shrimp were nicely prepared, and both the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce served with the meal were very good. Three others in our party also had the Regular Fish & Chips ($24 each), while another colleague ordered the Coconut Crusted entrée ($50), which she enjoyed very much. We also shared Onion Rings ($10). For my drink, I had a Blackberry Lemonade ($4.50 -- $4 for the lemonade plus 50¢ for blackberry), which was very tasty. We finished with dessert. I had the Key Lime Slice ($9), which I thought was average. Two of my colleagues ordered the Crème Brûlée ($9 each) and both said it was very good, although the portions were definitely on the smaller side. We also had an Ice Cream ($5). The only real knock on our visit was the service. Our server that evening simply wasn't very friendly and seemed to be going through the motions rather than making us feel particularly welcome. Maybe she was just having a bad night--it happens--and I doubt that experience is necessarily representative of the restaurant overall. Despite the service issue and somewhat high prices, the quality of the seafood, the clam chowder, the sides, and the pleasant, clean atmosphere made this a solid four-star experience for me. I would definitely return and give Market Street Grill another try.

Overall, another solid experience and a great place to take family from out of town.

I usually get the Drunken Noodles "Thai Spicy" but in this review I decided to try the Pad See Ew & Thai Fried Rice with Beef & Shrimp! Everything dish that I have tried here you can tell is made with passion and that they use fresh ingredients! I got my order to go, but you must experience eating in this restaurant as it is beautifully decorated in traditional Thai with a very lowkey, chill vibe! Here is where the identity crisis starts. You walk into a nice space with red velvet decor and Italian landscapes. I had to do a double-take to make sure we were in the proper establishment. The menu has photos of their dishes, great for a visual eater like myself. We started with the soft shell crabs in a chili sauce. The crabs were lightly battered, crisp and a delicious taste. We saved the sauce to pour over our rice, an added bonus. The pad Thai was to sweet, and over-run with red onions. This is not a combo I'm familiar with, not my favorite. The pork spiced ribs with honey, tomatoes, Thai spices and sesame oil was unique and good. They fell off the bone tender. What is stuck in my craw is the message sent by the physical space. Beautiful red velvet chairs, Italian landscapes and wine bottles lining the walls does not lend to fine Thai dining in my mind. A least paint over the walls and add SOME Thai touches. Let your wait staff know living on cell phone and ignoring patrons is never a winning message. The male bathroom has a toilet covered with painted tape and several missing pieces of porcelain. Are you a serious business or a pop-up finishing off someone else's lease? Attention to details are important and help set the table way before the food arrives. I wish Ve La Thai Fine Dining the best, but question their commitment after being here for over a year, perhaps it is all intentional.
