Village in sponsors 2.car shows a year as fund raising events for animal rescue groups. What a great way to give back to the local communities that they serve. They even had tables outside where wait staff came and took orders and delivered food. Everyone was super friendly. The food was great, just as it has been for decades. Thank you for supporting the local communities. read more

I was looking for a place that had meatloaf and found this location. Well, they did not have it so had to go another route. There were not a lot of customers and I had to wait for the waiter. He went on a smoke break so he smelled of cigarette smoke. I went with the turkey dinner that came with dressing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and biscuit.I got the food pretty quick and was considering pie but they gave me the bill without asking if I wanted anything else so just paid and left. read more

Great dinner tonight we did a pick up order everything was still hot when we got it home. Food tasted so good and was cooked perfectly!

Village Inn has always been consistent. Food hasn't really changed since I started coming here clear back in the days when we would close the bar down and then head over to Village Inn. Back in the day you could go in and get a table and sit for hours and just have coffee and smoke cigarettes. (I never smoked) but a lot of people did. These days there is no smoking (which I'm happy about) and there is no sitting around drinking coffee for hours. What you have these days is a family restaurant where they serve pretty decent food. The breakfast menu is the best, in my opinion. Known for their pies, with a good variety in the case by the cash register. This location's parking lot was/is the pick up/drop off for the fun bus out to Wendover. I'm not sure if it still is. read more

Ordered on Uber Eats and it was terrible!!! Bacon was undercooked. Bananas on the waffle were not ripe at all (hard and gross), and there was egg shell in the Benedict. Not a single dish was good and it had nothing to do with it being delivery. read more

I just orderd a steak from Village Inn to be delivered by Grubhub. It was so disgusting. I orderd my steak to be cooked medium well and when I cut into it there was puddles of blood everywhere. after almost vomitting, I recooked the steak. So glad I ordered Grubhub so I could cook my own food. Do better Village Inn and try not to m ake your customers sick! read more

Grateful to the Village Inn employees at this location for working on Christmas Eve--we made a last-minutes decision to go out to get some food because we didn't feel like cooking. The staff here was warm and welcoming, offering fast service. The food was surprisingly good too! Village Inn has a big selection of breakfast items (omelettes, breakfast skillets, waffles, pancakes, and more) available all day. They also have burgers, sandwiches, and salads who aren't fans of breakfast for dinner. And though our group didn't come on a Wednesday, we learned that if you come in on a Wednesday, you can get a free slice of pie with your meal! I'll have to come back to check that out. read more

This location had great food and super friendly and attentive servers. I was expecting a sort of IHOP generic experience but it was much better than that. Hilarious, smart aleck, faux retro signs abound with quotes from the like of Ms. Piggy. The food says it is made from scratch and it tastes like it. Fruit that is actually fruit and not a prefab long shelf life "sauce". Hash browns were buttery, salty perfection. Pancakes were great. We didn't get to try any pie but they looked amazing. We enjoyed it so much, we went to another location the next day. They were not as good, but this location was perfection. read more

Village Inn is a basic chain staple, and not usually one that I would review. However... this experience was different. It is a Friday evening and every other decent place nearby is too busy, so we opted for Village Inn, which was relatively empty. We ordered the Reuben and onion rings and a chicken fried steak skillet and pancakes. We were impressed by the quality of food. The Rueben was excellent as were the onion rings! Better than you would expect from Village Inn. The skillet and pancakes were better than average as well. We asked our server to give our compliments to the cook. He said the cook was new and he delivered the message loud enough for us to hear. I wouldn't say that it would be this good all the time, but this time was exceptional. read more

Quick seating, drink / food order. Comfortable atmosphere. I ordered the biscuits & gravy. Was the first time the eggs and hash wasn't seasoned, however a little salt & pepper quickly fixed that! Great service today and the staff was very friendly. The manager was very kind. Thank you!!

This location has stepped up there game!!! Incredible customer service by Amanda and her team! I was looking for a greasy spoon breakfast, real quick, before work. I spotted village inn and thought it was probably going to be a sub par experience. As I walked in I was immediately greeted by Amanda. Who was very pleasant and seated me quickly. My waitress, Shantelle served me coffee quickly and was super attentive. The place was immaculately clean! I almost had to ask if I walked into another restaurant. This will be my new breakfast spot hands down. Free pie and an amazing breakfast. Perfect gem read more

We had great service and food was ok for Village Inn in Murray,Ut. We were visiting family and decided to have a mini reunion for breakfast. We decided to swarm the Village Inn. When I walked up and asked for seating for 11 people, the staff was friendly and had us seated within 15 minutes. The waitress, Be my, was awesome. She was patient, friendly, and helpful the entire time. They also split up the checks which was great. The food was ok. I would consider it Denny's food or a little better. The coffee was better then the average diner coffee. I had the vegetarian omelette which was good as it had salsa on it to add to the flavor. Our son wolfed down his pancakes which made wifey happy which, in turn, made me happy. Village Inn provided our family get together great service and ok food. We will come here again if we ever plan another family breakfast. read more

It's been a few months since I have been to Village Inn. My son, father and I went to the Village Inn in Murray Utah. The dinning room was fairly busy last Saturday night when we went...but the atmosphere was good. Service was a little slow, but it did not take us long to realize they were short on help. We guessed 2 servers, 1 host and possibly 1 or two cooks were all that was there. We are patient people, enjoying conversation at the table, so the slowness did not matter. We all thought our food was great, the waitress did her best to get to us, and we had a good evening enjoying a good evening out. Thanks Village Inn! We loved watching your "team work" and professional character as you did the best you could! The California Skillet is delicious! read more

I wanted to have a breakfast in the park so I decided to order from village Inn take-out. When we got to the park my friends cheese sandwich was just fair but the salad didn't have dressing nor was dressing provided on the side. the avocado was ok the the rest of the salad was to dry to eat without the dressing. I had the chicken fried skillet the picture on the site was white county dressing I got a brown tasteless on the side gravy. There were pancakes but no butter or syrup. The scramble eggs were just warm but rest of the meal was cold , overcooked potatoes . I dont remember a Meal From Village INN being so bad. Maybe if we had eaten inside things would have been different? Julie was the person who provided the meal maybe she should check her take out orders for buttrer, syrup and when the customer asks for a specific type of dressing make sure the request is honored. read more

Positive thing is they still open at Sunday, and well stuffed while most other restaurants are closed. Negative is the burger is not as good. The food is fresh cooked, but need some improvement on taste. Both meat and bun are dry and hard to chew, it is not even on the fast food level like McDonald. I guess they probably good at other type of food, maybe dessert or pancake? But for this sole visit I can only give it 2 or 2.5 read more

I mean, it's Village Inn. But as far as Village Inn goes, it could be much worse. This is a pretty okay place to go in the morning. I mean, six bucks and you can get a pretty hearty breakfast. And the whole menu is open all day long, so if you're jonesing for some Brinner, you can't do much worse than here. I can't give a Village Inn more than three stars, it's really a three and a half though. You could do worse for much more money. read more

What a place. My experience with village inn was very pleasant and enjoyable. The service was great. My server was Robin, and she was very friendly. The menu has a good selection of choices. I went with the all world double cheeseburger with a fried egg. The waitress even enthusiastically agreed it was a great choice. That burger was a mammoth of a size when it got to the table. I had to squish it down a bit to get my mouth around it. You would have thought that would have filled me up, but I decided to order a slice of chocolate peanut butter pie for dessert. I can easily tell it was made from scratch, and the pie was so sinfully delicious, every bite was like sending my taste buds to heaven, assuming this type of indulgence was allowed beyond heavens gate. I will definitely be coming back again and again. read more

This is a fairly decent location. There's not really anything truly special about these types of chain places so I honestly rate them against each other. I'd say this one is average. The servers are good enough and the food is always hot. At least the last 4 times I went there. I will probably go again if I'm hung over and hating my life and need some bacon and pancakes to absorb the leftover booze in my belly. read more

I know it's not very "foodie" of me, but I do like the VI from time to time, mostly around 10pm when I want brinner (breakfast for dinner). I usually get their "V.I.B." meal, where you can select 4 breakfast items for $6.99. I had a pulled pork pita and onion rings the other night and I was pleasantly surprised- it was quite tasty! The best part about the V.I. is if you go on Wednesday, you get a free slice of pie with your meal. The only thing better than free pie, is free beer, but that's not legal in Utah. I've gotta say, Village Inn makes a mean pie. The Oreo and triple berry are my favorites. Mmm...pie... This location has been recently remodeled and is very clean. The wait staff is always friendly and efficient. There's always a manager wandering around making sure everyone is happy, too, which I really like to see in a restaurant. read more

My fiancé & I live right down the street, so this is our go to diner spot. A year ago, this location was not ideal. The service was slow & mediocre, as was the food. This year we've noticed the service has been getting better & more professional. The servers seem to be more friendly & more efficient. That's a huge plus! The atmosphere is bright & inviting. I think the updated decor matches well with this type of chain resturant. It looks clean & well put together. We like to eat here anytime of day, Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. These are a few of our favorites: The VIB is great for breakfast. At $6.99 you can't go wrong. You choose 4 items out of a ton of options, make it your own personal way. It's a great value, epecially for larger parties or family or group gatherings. My usual VIB is a small chicken fried steak, hashbrowns, pancakes & orange creme crepe - Delicious!! For lunch my fiancé loves the "Grown up Grilled Cheese". It's got 4 cheeses, bacon & fresh sliced tomatoes on a parmesan crusted bread. I get the Double Decker Club on wheat bread. It has turkey, ham & bacon with cheese & fries on the side. Lately we've been going for dinner, because we can't get enough of their burgers! I have included a picture of the one I had tonight for dinner. The beef patties are homemade & the buns are thick & toasted. Also they come with a side of lettuce, tomatoes, red onions & a couple crinkled pickles. The fries are very good & if you're health conscious they are pretty plain, I have to add a dash of salt & pepper. Oh & for us Utahns, they do have Fry Sauce!!! It's freshly made everyday by the servers! I also have to add, their burgers are a hell of a lot tastier & better put together than Red Robins. We've been very disappointed with them from all their changes they've made to their burgers. They fall apart & just don't taste right, but that's a review for a different resturant. I'm just comparing Village Inn's burgers to the "popular" burgers in town & we believe they have the best right now! I challenge you to do your own comparison & see which burger tastes best to you ;-) So all in all I believe this location has made a lot of good changes & we will definitely continue to come here until we have a reason not to. read more

Do not eat here this place is the worst place I've eaten in the last year between four of us the bill came to 52.00 dollars I had a chicken sandwich when it came out it was on a bun with nothing on it just a piece of chicken a slice of Velveeta cheese nothing else, you would expect some tomatoe, lettuce, mustard or something.
