Ham 2 sides of Okra and a side of green beans.

They brought back the ham dinner. It was amazing. Okra sides were made perfect, almost as good as grannies. Service was fabulous. A lot of food for a good price.

As always, Cracker Barrel continues to astound on a consistent basis. No matter the city, no matter the occasion, I can always find a great meal served by competent and attentive folks in an environment that just feels like home. I finally tried the Biscuit Benny here and I'm wondering why it never crossed the table before now. That's one fire dish that gives the traditional two or three egg breakfast a run for its money. I guess it's because I tend to stay away from Benedicts like I tend to stay away from Omlettes. It's just usually not what I want. But this is one of the memorable ones. The double chocolate fudge coca-cola cake is something that will never go out of style. It will never die, it will never surrender; it will just keep coming back with every meal eaten here like The Terminator. I will always love Cracker Barrel and the Crack will always love and take care of everyone who comes through its doors.

Early morning breakfast meet led me to Cracker Barrel. It was a packed house. I loved that they seated us without our whole party being there. This made for an easy walk in experience. The hot chocolate was delicious, dark chocolate with whipped topping. The old timer's breakfast was huge! Great portions all around. Eggs, bacon, breakfast casserole and biscuits and gravy were all part of the meal. Others on the table ordered the French toast and cinnamon rolls and the fried apples and pancakes. They loved their dishes. My favorite was the store that included Halloween decor and lots of fun items! This is a definite must visit.

Very clean and honey with plenty of tables for large crowds! Cool shop as well!

A good family restaurant with good food and service. I've been here twice now in two weeks and the food is good with great service! I couldn't be much happier than I've been treated here. In had the chicken fried steak and eggs! It came with a flaky biscuit and white gravy. I've been thinking about this place all week and couldn't wait to dig into the meal. Plenty of food to take for later, can't beat that.

I've given them a chance a couple times but for the most part underwhelming. Good portions but flavors and seasoning just do seem to hit the spot. Biscuits and corn muffins mid at best. Good service, old times vibes.

    Completely raw chicken fried chicken

Things started out rough, the hostess that seated us was irritated and rude, the waiter was attentive and polite, our orders came, the chicken fried chicken, everything appeared normal, but when I attempted to cut into mine, it was raw, not undercooked, but raw batter and raw chicken. The waiter took it back and they brought another order, at this point I was hesitant, my wife's order was fine, the waiter said he'd adjust the ticket for the mistake but it didn't happen. This used to be a great location, but with the past few visits where had we'll look for another.

Ordered combo chicken and chicken and dumplings. With mashed potato's and mac n cheese. With a salad. The salad was not nothing to come back for. The ranch and the Italian dressing were bottled and it good. The food was was all barely served warm which was very disappointing. As it could have been a good meal had all the food been served HOT! Hardly any chicken in the chicken and dumplings just a small chunk. The biscuits and corn bread wasn't served warm either. Which was another disappointment. The fried chicken was the worst as it wasn't served hot at all! Hubby got chicken fried chicken and his meal was the same, cold! No need to ever come back. Fail all around

I was in the area to run a marathon and came here for dinner the night before the race. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted and seated at the other end of the restaurant. Unfortunately, I was seated next to a table where one of the ladies was hacking up a lung each time she coughed. Hopefully, I don't catch what she has (I didn't). Per the usual, I ordered their Country Boy Breakfast with steak tips, eggs sunny-side up, okra, and grits. I got an unsweetened iced tea to go with my meal. Both the service and meal were great and on par with what I've come to expect from any Cracker Barrel.

We chose it because it was close to the hotel how lucky are we. We went with a group of five. We ordered three entrees and a side of wings. The wings were our starter and they were fantastic black and wings are great highly recommend. My wife and I split the fried chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy and the cornbread it was absolutely fantastic cannot speak highly enough. My mom and dad split the shrimp and grits which they also said was great I did try the grits they were lovely, gooey, cheesy awesomeness. My sister had the kale salad as she needs gluten-free options it was easily the largest most fantastic looking kale salad I've ever seen, and she said it was great. The last thing I would probably comment on is the sauces with a name like sauce boss it better have good sauce and it did. Each and every sauce was unique from others I've had but didn't disappoint all where extremely tasty I especially like the spicy one that came with the fried chicken. At this restaurant they don't have salt and pepper on the table and for good reason everything was spiced and seasoned very well. As for service, our server was very attentive, very kind, made great suggestions and all that being that we came in within a half an hour, 45 minutes of closing, you can't beat that!!! If you want boring food don't eat here. If you want the same plain Jane thing you find at every other chain, don't eat here! On the other hand, if you want amazingly tasty food, service and sauces and a good story to tell eat here!!!

Draper, Utah…read more Southern food? Fried catfish? All in the middle of Utah? I had to try it. This is a sit down and order restaurant. Very casual inside, white walls with metal chairs and concrete floor. Very simple. Very small space. About 14 tables. I have food, allergies, and the waitress answered all of my questions. But then she sent the chef/owner, Julius, over to talk with me. Pleasant man from Chicago. But his recipes are all from his family who lived in the South. I ordered the fried catfish which is accompanied with two sides. I chose the candied yams and the mac & cheese. My husband ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes, potatoes, and gravy and the macaroni and cheese. Both plates are served with a slice of cornbread with a large honey butter smothered on top. The food came out very hot. The breading on the catfish is very thick and a lot of spices. I was pleasantly surprised when I cut my catfish and discovered it was deboned and tender. The mac & cheese was creamy and the candied yams were super sweet. Just the way I prefer them. They did seem a bit runny, but the flavor was good. The fried chicken was unbelievably moist. The breading was thick and crunchy. The mashed potatoes were of course, homemade with spices, and the brown gravy is chicken based. The cornbread was delicious. Comes with a slab of honey butter. I only wish it was served warm. It would've made the experience perfect. The food portions are large. The food has wonderful flavor with the perfect spice and southern heat. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I would give it 4.8 stars. The only two things that brought it down from a perfect score were the cornbread being cold, and the restaurant was not a cozy feel. Please come check this restaurant out and meet Julius.

Parking is all street parking, which wasn't too bad when I went. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. You order at the counter, but they bring everything out to your table, which is a nice balance between casual and full service. The food was honestly the highlight. The menu has a lot of fun wordplay, which made it more memorable. I ordered the "Forbidden One" and it did not disappoint. The omelette was super tasty, the bacon was perfectly crispy, and the chicken was well-seasoned and not dry at all. Even the fruit cup stood out. I was pleasantly surprised that it was made with freshly cut fruit instead of the usual pre-packaged mix. My only regret is not adding apples to the "Forbidden One" for the full forbidden fruit moment. Definitely something I'd try next time. Overall, great vibes, great food, and a spot I'd come back to.

What stood out was how well the food accommodated a table with various breakfast tastes. Some of us prefer sweet brunch options, while others like savory, but, literally, everything was so yummy for everyone at the table. Nothing was overly sweet or too savory/spicy for our group, and everyone shared bites happily. I ordered the Children of the Corn, which was super yummy and the shrimp was perfect, just the right spice, and a warm, satisfying chipotle flavor. We also tried the Team 3, with fried Brussels sprouts & mustard curry sauce, Asian jalapeño slaw, and house potatoes with garlic aioli, the Squirrel's Nest French toast and The Forbidden One omelet, all yummy The atmosphere is laid-back: instead of servers, someone seats you, gives you a menu, and you order at a terminal. I appreciate that there are no delivery app drivers coming and going -- it creates a more guest-focused vibe, making it feel more like a neighborhood spot. It's small, cozy, and definitely worth waiting for, if you have a wait

The ribs were smothered in their raspberry bbq sauce which is just not good. Shame because the ribs were tender and cooked well. 2. The brisket. Who taught this person carving tonight how to cut brisket??!?! As someone who lived in central Texas for almost 6 years, the way this meat was cut was offensive. We got a a pound of brisket and they were cut into GIANT chunks almost an inch thick. Brisket is supposed to be SLICED and it's not supposed to be covered in sauce either. Thankfully the classic sauce is actually good but it ruins the bark!! The bark lost its peppery bite being covered in sauce. The point of brisket is it doesn't need sauce if it's done right. The chunks were so thick it made it chewy. Maybe if sliced thinner it would've been better. 3. The potato salad tasted like it was made with dole whip cream it was terribly sweet. The Mac and cheese had no flavor to it at all, and the beans were alright. 4. The sausage was flavorful and juicy. We finished that. I feel so bad for the people of Utah that think this is good bbq. It is not. I don't expect Texas bbq outside of Texas but this was just sad and not worth the $80 we spent. And what's worse is we are still hungry because the ribs were inedible and the brisket was so chewy. And, please please please go over meat carving with whoever was cutting the brisket this evening (4/7).

Portions can tend to run large. Be prepared for leftovers! My dining companion got spasagna, a hybrid spaghetti/lasagna dish which she enjoyed. I had a combo ribs with chicken strips. The chicken strips had a hot honey sauce which had just a little kick. Ribs are of the fall-off-the-bone variety, rather than competition, but great flavor and nice traditional sauce. I didn't try the gyro burger because it was very raw on the inside. It was lamb and wagyu but I prefer my burger meats to be cooked all the way through. My friends said it was sweet and it's probably because they glazed the bun. The fat bastard oysters were too big for my liking. There's also gelato on top which was weird because it made the oyster taste like it was partially frozen. I don't recommend this. The rolls tasted like biscuits. It was crumbly and it wasn't expected for a nice restaurant. The heirloom tomato pastry was my favorite dish of the night. The half sashimi trout was more like a stew in sweet sauce. The baby yellow potatoes were just added without any seasonings. Assuming it should soak in the sweet juices? I didn't care for it. Trout was good, but preferred that the skin was crispy, which was extremely soggy, drowned in the sauce. Server asked if I wanted bread to drink the sauce and sure. Why not. It may taste better with regular bread and it wasn't. You can also skip valet parking if you just walk an extra minute down the parking lot. I forgot what one of the desserts name but it was the one with butter cake. This was extremely sweet too with the gooey caramel sauce.
