My friends and I were in town for a festival and stopped here on the way out of town for some breakfast and it was fantastic. The food and service was absolutely wonderful! Tyler was our server and took such great care of us even with it being a very busy and packed morning. We all had an assortment of items but I will say their eggs Benedict was so so good! Definitely recommend trying them! We sat out on the patio but even going inside it's very cute and cozy. We did have to wait a bit to get seated but we had a larger group so that's to be expected. The Monte Cristo Sandwich is delicious! Perfect blend of sweet and savory, especially with the jam and the other cinnamon-y dip. Service was great! It was a little busy when we came in (Tuesday ~9:30am), but food took a reasonable amount of time to come out. Staff are super nice and check-in frequently. After a long drive back from Moab, we consulted Yelp and picked this place for brek. We sat outside, which was a bit chilly however the food and service made up for it and did not disappoint! Was visiting for a work trip and got in early. A coworker and I stumbled on this cute place. It's a cute local spot for breakfast/brunch. Everything seems to be so fresh! It's definitely a popular spot (1hr wait time) and I can clearly see why: hands down one of the best upscale breakfasts I've had in a while! Our server Jasmine was awesome! The inside is small and quaint. They have a large outside patio. The only con was parking. It's street parking only. We came in an hour before they close at 2 PM and didn't feel rushed at all. I ordered the Corned Beef Poutine with roasted potatoes, an over easy egg, and an aioli type sauce I believe. My friend accompanied me and ordered their breakfast sandwich that had a delicious rosemary herbed bun, egg, and bacon. She asked to hold the horseradish sauce. I average coming here every other month because I'm bringing friends or family here. It's a great spot with lots of options. The service is so nice and friendly even when it's busy. The patio is awesome even on cold days they have inclosed it and put heaters out there. The lumber jack skillet is still my favorite and the table shares French toast with savory entrées. The tower of two is a fun brunch idea when you want a little of everything and need to elevate the experience. This place gets busy so come early on weekends. I love going mid week for a work meeting if possible. Parking is on the street and you can usually find a spot close. This area has unique shops that open at 10am if you can stay and explore. read more

From the moment we walked into Skillets, we felt taken care of. We were seated right away at the bar, which ended up being the best seat in the house. Watching each plate come out of the kitchen was like witnessing edible artwork being carefully crafted and delivered. Every dish that passed in front of us looked intentional, colorful, and beautifully plated. You could tell this place takes pride in what they serve. My husband and I ordered the Tower for Two, and it was so much more than a meal, it was an experience from the very first bite. Each tier brought something completely different to the table, both visually and flavor-wise. The top layer featured perfectly toasted sourdough with three homemade cream cheese spreads: basil, chive, and cinnamon sugar. The basil was bright and fresh, easily my favorite, while my husband completely fell in love with the cinnamon sugar. He kept saying it brought him straight back to childhood, and watching him savor each bite made it even better. The middle layer was pure fun. A waffle cut into ideal dipping portions, surrounded by pistachio, Nutella, and caramel sauces, plus fresh fruit slices so you could curate the perfect bite every time. Sweet, nutty, creamy, each combination felt like a new little creation. Then came the bottom layer: hearty, savory perfection. Crispy breakfast potatoes and tater tots, sausage and ham, all topped with scrambled eggs, bacon, and microgreens. Every component was cooked exactly right. Crispy where it should be, tender where it needed to be, and beautifully presented. Ash was our server, and she truly elevated the entire experience. She made us feel comfortable, had a fantastic sense of humor, and kept me laughing throughout the meal. Even while hustling and managing multiple tables, she never missed a beat. She was attentive without hovering and made every table feel important. It was also so cool to watch the staff as a whole. The servers, cooks, and hosts worked together seamlessly, helping each other out, moving around one another effortlessly, almost like a choreographed dance. You can tell this team genuinely cares about one another. It feels less like a restaurant staff and more like a family, and that energy creates such a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. So happy that they officially have a spot and it's not just their food truck! Their menu is simple and delicious. Everything I've gotten so far has been great. I decided to try the tater tot skillet which has carnitas meat. I found the meat to be a little bland but you could always add salt yourself. But over thing else went well with it. While deciding where to get breakfast, the menu with the Monte Cristo won out. We didn't have any wait at all, which was great. They have a really cute outdoor seating area, but we ate inside. With whipped cream piled high on my hot chocolate, we got off to a really strong start. My Monte Cristo was good. I should explain that my standard for Monte Cristo sandwiches are from the Blue Bayou at Disneyland, which obviously is completely unfair. So if I can set that aside, I can say it was really good. It was good enough to take home, and reheated well in my air fryer later that night. Our server was super friendly and nice, which makes all the difference. Our food came out quickly, which is good for some starving millennial ladies. So many things on the menu look so good. I am excited to come back. I recommend fresh whipped cream as this gem and made from scratch establishment needs to know that I as a customer would expect nothing less than fresh. And whipped cream from a can is horrible!! SL has so many great breakfast and brunch options and Skillets has to be right at the top of the list. We got there a little late for lunch but had breakfast anyway. Remember they're only open until 2:00pm. We sat out on the patio and even though it was 91 degrees outside with the water misters it was very pleasant on the patio. We wanted to get a feel for what they offer so we ordered two of their top choices, the French Toast Flight gives you the chance to try not one but all three of their French Toast. They were all very good but in order of my preference, Cinnamon Toast Crunch FT, Original FT w strawberries, blueberries and a strip of bacon, Nutella cookies and cream. Glad my wife was there to share it with me. 5/5 They won the award for best breakfast burrito and once you taste it you'll know why. Probably the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. Absolutely delicious food! We had the tower platter and biscoff cookie butter French toast and it was to die for. As a foodie family we enjoyed being able to sample so many options from the menu including their homemade butters, waffle fondue, eggs, tater tots, sausage, bacon and lots of fruit! The French toast was a true winner, so soft and sweet with thick cut bread. The service was quick and staff were very nice. We were so hungry that I forgot to get good pictures before we started helping ourselves. I went to brunch with a couple friends and we shared 3 different meals and it was perfect sizing for us to share. We got the breakfast burrito, signature French toast, and monte crisco sandwich. The breakfast burrito was really big and filling. I would probably give it a 3/5 because there didn't seem to be very much egg in it and mainly black beans and shredded pork. The signature French toast was delicious. It came with 4 pieces of bread with strawberries and blueberries covering it. It had an orange slice and a piece of bacon with it also. Next we had the monte crisco sandwich. It came with syrup and jam and surprisingly it was really good with the jam. They have a tower for two that we want to go back to try. When I got there it was about a 20 minute wait because it is a pretty small restaurant. They also don't have much room for waiting around, so expect to be standing outside and possibly in the sun while you wait for a table. We ordered their shredded steak skillet and the corned beef skillet. Both were excellent. Fresh and hot and more than enough food. Both skillets also had cheese curds mixed in with peppers and onions and an egg with cheese on top. My kind of breakfast. Their famous green sauce is a cilantro type sauce which was also good. Both the shredded steak and the corned beef were flavorful. Each of us could only finish half of our skillet. We enjoyed our leftovers the next day with a couple of eggs. Got the Tower For Two , and it was both an experience and a meal. It's definitely plenty for two people, leaving us in a full-on food coma. If you're sharing with three, I think it could still be satisfying and without the coma. The layers made it easy to go back and forth between sweet and savory, and the presentation was great. It felt like high tea but with waffles, toast, and a mountain of breakfast food. It was split well for sharing too. The top was toast with perfectly soft butters in garlic, basil, and cinnamon chocolate flavors. My favorite was the garlic butter, but the basil really grew on me. The middle had waffles with Nutella, pistachio cheesecake, and dulce de leche sauces and some fresh fruit. The bottom had a thin omelet over crispy tater tots and home potatoes, two strips of bacon, sausage (a bit greasy, but that's nitpicking), ham, and a really good cilantro sauce. The eggs were cooked just right, light enough to not overpower the rest, and those tots with cilantro sauce were the perfect bite. The vibe is super casual, with lots of sweats, hoodies, and Uggs. It was busy, but not too loud. The staff was friendly but left us alone unless we needed something. The tower was definitely worth it, but I wish the blackberry juice was a couple bucks cheaper. It was really good and unique, though. Would I go back? Absolutely. But it would be hard to not just get this tower again. read more

I've been a fan of Skillets ever since I discovered their food truck a couple years ago. I fell in love with their breakfast burrito and tater tot skillet. They are well deserving of the Best Breakfast Burrito in Utah award. Service was quick and friendly. Thanks to the snow, we didn't have a wait! Ambiance is that of a breakfast diner with pops of yellow. The restaurant isn't big but Skillets did a great job utilizing the space they have. Breakfast burrito: all potato and beans- almost no egg! I couldn't believe how thin the egg is in this. Pork Benedict: should be a bacon Benedict. My husband didn't like this version of hollandaise (cheesey) and wasn't a fan of the bread. Kids french toast: it was fine. A good portion but meh flavor Kids sampler: in theory- awesome idea. This was not enough food for anyone over 3 though. Tiny condiment cups and again with the paper thin egg. Price: $80 for two kids and two adult breakfasts is just a bit more than I expect to pay. I like to give places a couple of chances so we might come back but I sadly can't recommend. read more

I've been in love with Skillets since their food truck started and couldn't be more proud of them for opening their brick & mortar! Awesome location - I'm excited for the warmer weather when we can use the patio. Super cozy and intimate inside, with adorable decorations and a little fireplace too! Kenzie was our server and she was so sweet and friendly. Everyone here is always so friendly! I'm a creature of habit so I haven't strayed from my usual order of the breakfast burrito until today, when I barely strayed and got the skillet instead. It was equally as delicious and amazing. I was pretty surprised that there was a half hour wait for a table on a wednesday at 11 but no biggie. Although it did take another half hour to get our meals. I like that the menu is unique and everything tasted good. Service was nice but a bit slow. My friend nearly finished her French toast before we were checked on again to ask for more syrup. I know it's no one's fault but there was an incessant fly in the restaurant harassing all of the diners. The location is in a cute area, restaurant is small with some outdoor seating options. We ordered the lumberjack and their breakfast burrito and the kids breakfast board. The lumberjack and burrito dishes were much bigger than expected. Price-to-portion for these two were excellent. Just be hungry enough to eat at least half and have time to enjoy the meal. The kids breakfast board needed improvement in the price-to-portion. I had to order a side of scrambled eggs to supplement the single scrambled egg. Our server, Jasmine, provided outstanding service. She was attentive and courteous.
