Gave 1 star because I had to... Sizzler took away their lunch menu so now you have to wait until after 4 to have a meal that would include the salad bar or pay full price for your meal and an extra 5.99 for salad bar. read more

When it reopened after the OK from governor during pandemic, we could go inside. They were spraying disinfectant on the wood walls. Thesalad bar was closed, no big surprise. People had "open touch to the salad bar utensils, but the do offer a salad. Good menu, spacial distancing from other people strictly enforced. Red paper on tables that are too close to each other. Food was really good, and it felt good to be in a "booth" and restaurant atmosphere. They have had to close down again, as covid came back too strong to have inside dining. They have put tables outside as of today. We will try it later when it cools down. Last visit, all employees were very nice and accommodating. It's as good as it can be for the "TIMES" we are living in. read more

This has always been my favorite sizzler out of the two in the AV, Had lunch there yesterday while I was on Palmdale Blvd. The greeter/cashier was uber friendly and, upbeat, and nice...Salad bar was fresh as usual, but my meal had been left sitting under the heat lamps for awhile...But maybe my server was slammed..He was a nice guy anyways. Hello I hope all is well, but about a couple weeks or so ago before all the stay at jome order stuff started I went and ate there with my family. We waited to be seated a while, got seated but we didnt even get asked if we wanted a refill till we were about to leave, the lady didnt even ask us how was the food, etc even though when our food came it was cold and when i asked wheres my steak she said I didnt order it but i did and showed her my receipt she then went to go look and finally braught it out cold smh .. Just went back after their remodel, not all remodeled, just the salad bar and kitchen i was told, food was okay, steak was good, but the soup was crunchy,(calm chower)? not sure why, salad bar has less items than before remodel, service was good, not impressed, I won't be back, I can spend 50$'s on much more at another resturant,:( read more

Came in here last week and again today after not having gone for a while. This restaurant gets overlooked because it's so close to the AV Mall and its cavalcade of similar family/semi-upscale restaurants, but it's lowkey some of the best food around. Had the 14 oz rib eye both times, some of the best steak I've had and at $22, a decent price for a large, excellent steak. But the star of the show is the mashed potatoes. A mound of fluffy mashed with a volcano hole in the center with melting garlic butter. SO good! The rice was literally hit or miss- like it was good on one plate and not good on another, at the same meal. The shrimp (some fried and some grilled on a skewer) were just ok, as were the beef ribs. My mom liked the ice cream part of the salad bar. Service was really good both times, from the manager on down. read more

The food was okay for being Sizzler but when it came to service, the server Teresa was horrible. She gave off an attitude like she was annoyed with our table the whole time. The hubby and I have stopped up north at couple of Sizzler's and the food was amazing. We decided to try our local Sizzler's last night. Wow the food was so sub par from the other Sizzler's we went to. Steaks were half the size. I ordered mushrooms and I was almost done with steak by the time I got them. Then they tasted like a salt lick I couldn't even eat them. They replaced them but of course I was done with my meal by the time it got them. Our waitress spoke limited English and she had a hard time understanding A simple thing as what kind of bread we wanted. read more

On 2/10/19 we went in at 2:01 p.m. it wasn't super busy and we got the worst service ever! The waitress was terrible and waited for a ridiculous amount of time for the waitress to ask us for our drinks. She came back with them and read off our orders. We asked for bread and she got snarky and said, you mean cheese toast! of course, we meant that. Then my husband ordered a steak which he also ordered a salad with and she never brought the plate and so we flagged her down and asked for it. She said, " you ordered a salad"? we said you read our orders and confirmed it. Oh, okay and she comes back with a hot plate. We asked for a cold one which she then felt put upon because she had to go to the cashier for it. Then comes the food. First, she asks for me to cut into it and my husband and the walks away never to return to ask us if it was cooked right. As it turned out my steak was just okay but barely warm and my husband's steak was cold and not cooked correctly. My Lobster was absolutely terrible. We gave up and didn't even bother with to go boxes because she never came back to even check on us or refill our drinks. I guess given there were only two of us and she had a much larger table she knew where her tip would grow exponentially. It was absolutely nada from us. We spent about 56.00 and wrote Corporate about it and never got any response as promised by the powers that be that operate The Palmdale location. They really have sizzled out and we will no longer be putting a stake in their steaks or anything else. read more

My mother & I went to Sizzler for lunch today. I have a cast on my left leg and am in a wheelchair. I order the salad bar and soup for my mother. I explained I needed assistance in getting items from sAlad bar & carting tray to table, since I am in a wheelchair. The girl behind the counter told me to go to a the table and wait.she said she would come and help. No one ever came to help. My mother finally got up to help . A patron at another table assisted,-someone we didn't even no! When we needed Another plate. My mother had to get up to find s server & then they would redirect her. No customer service, /assistance was AvAilable. As for the food from the salad bar, the onion rings were not crisp and tasted greasy. Staff is super friendly. I like the fruit lemonade beverages. The chicken tenders are a bit too peppery for my tastes. The chicken noodle soup is really good. The Mac and cheese is a bit too thick and the steak looks nothing like the picture lol. It was like a long straight piece of meat for an expensive price. The baked potato is great. I like how you order up front then take your seat. The buffet is limited but still good. The only thing I noticed about this place is the waitress doesn't wait/ask for you to cut your steak open to see if the way it's cooked is alright. Maybe it's just me but whenever someone in my family orders steaks at other restaurants , they usually do this. Not a big deal , but I think it's a nice touch and helps prevent any problems early. The waitress was really down to earth and attentive to refilling our drinks. :). This is your usual american dine in so there's nothing really new to try here. read more

The food was the worst we've had. We been coming here for years. Today just about all the food tasted really bad. Overdone steak, then when they came back, very undercooked it and felt very elastic. The spinach salad was rancid. I usually dont leave bad reviews, however i am so dissapointed that i felt the need to give it a negative -1 review. The waitress was great but the food was horrible. We will never come here again. Do yourself a favor and go to a family own restaurant, this corporate restaurant sucks. And I don't want a free meal, I want my money back. read more

By far this Sizzler is the best one I have been to. The other Sizzlers that are in other locations need to come to Palmdale see why this is by far the best one to eat at. I have not been disappointed in the service or the fresh and hot food that is always being service here. Customer Service is great here and even if Iive in the San Fernando Valley and want Sizzlers I would come out here and eat at the Palmdale Sizzlers. It is worth it. read more

I can say almost every time we go to sizzler the steaks are bad. We order it well done and it is medium. Very tough and fatty. Lemon herb chicken is a tiny piece of meat and dry. Not like they used to be for sure. read more

This Sizzler is one of the better ones. I eat there at least every other month and never had a bad meal. The staff is nice and friendly. The salad bar is fresh every time I have been there. As the other reviewer said the cheese bread is on the small size Update: They will give you more cheese bread, you just have to ask You no longer have to ask for a soup bowl if you want soup. read more

My husband and I go to Sizzler mainly for their salad. It is full of various items that we love to eat. The waiters/waitresses are so good there. Very mindful of who they are helping and always checking on us. We are in our 60's and they have a good senior citizen rate. It is surely a place to get good food and wonderful service. My husband and I had not been to the local Sizzler in years. This used to be our big treat for dinner out with the family. The atmosphere was great and the food (that cheese) toast was pleasantly familiar. What made our dining experience complete was having Blanch as our waitress. A longtime waitress with the kind and accommodating personality missing from some of those other local eateries. Blanch was very attentive by checking on us often and making certain our dining experience was comfortable. The food was good and the salad bars hot items were fully stocked and fresh so that made for two happy diners. read more

Review of their delivery capability - three times in the last 5 weeks we've ordered delivery from them and TWICE they've fouled it up. #1 was fine. Order #2, our toast and my malibu chicken was overcooked, AND we did not get the caesar salad we ordered. We were charged for it, but got a refund. Today, 7/2/20, we tried again. UGH. This time we only got half our order. The entire double malibu chicken entree was not delivered. Now how does that happen?? So, again, I had to go complain and get a refund from Grub Hub. But I was hungry and just placed another order for the double malibu chicken. This time they did ok, but beware of ordering multiple entrees - they don't seem to be able to handle that for deliveries! I complained to the restaurant both times via email to let them know what happened. So far I have not received a reply to today's incident. The place is great when you're able to go inside and eat, but delivery - eh, well, we're losing confidence in em. Long time customer. read more

Best Sizzler I've been to. We were out of town and in a rush for a good basic meal so we took a chance. We were pleasantly surprised by the super fresh and clean salad bar on a very busy night. Sometimes these can start to look messy if there are lots of guests. Servers were very friendly and attentive. We were in and out pretty quickly and on our way to our event. Food was good. I came to visit family from San Jose and HAD to visit sizzler while i'm here. My dad loves sizzler, especially the ribs. The salad bar was great, especially the Greek salad and spinach salad. Went to eat here for Sunday brunch. Never again will go on a Sunday! Had to wait 30 min due to 1 cashier only. Then had to wait like 25 min for soup bowls after I had to ask them a few times for soup bowls.. when they brought them out they were rushed by people waiting I got the last plate and then they ran out of clam chowder! So, Then they couldn't keep up with the buffet every time I went they were out of something. Long story short I didn't get to have my soup or seconds! This place needs more staff on sundays! Such a disappointment. My wife and I have been going to Sizzlers for years. This was the first time we tried one since we moved here. I was really hoping we were going to find the quality of food and service as we found at the Redlands, CA location. Unfortunately that was not the case. Whomever the cook was last night, has no business in a kitchen. My food took forever to get and the steak was foul in every way possible. First the steak was cooked completely uneven. I ordered my steak medium well. When I received my food half of the steak was medium cooked and the other half was cooked dead. When I turned the steak over I found that the entire right side was a solid chunk of fat and grissle. Of course the fat was on the end that was cooked medium. So if the steak was not cooked through you know that fat was not either. I stop the waitress and tell her I want a new steak, and that the person cooking food should have never served that steak to a customer. The waitress took my steak back and after about 10 mins the waitress returns and says it going to be 5 more minutes. I asked for a manager. As we are waiting for my steak to come back, I start to eat the salad I made at the salad bar. Of course when making my salad the finishing touch was bacon bits. As I start to eat my salad I bit into a huge chunk of bacon fat. Almost lost it right there. I explained everything and showed here what I got. She was polite and very happy to issue a credit for the next time we came to that location. Just then the waitress returns with a new steak. Again the steak was cooked uneven with one end being cooked to death, just like leather. The other end was was so under cooked I could not even try it or enjoy . Over priced. Tasteless food. Crummy service. Had to wait ten minutes to get a refill on coffee. When they have to ration plates as if we were in a concentration camp is completely outrageous. Just came from Sizzle and I had the best waitress her name is Tami. Can't say enough good things about her she made my dining experience so pleasurable. She is very attentive to the customers needs. She kept getting me things and refilling my water without me asking her to plus always asking me if I needed anything .
