So I came here tonight and I left at about 8 pm. My family and I had an amazing server by the name of Gelsey. She was extremely helpful and had an amazing attitude, over all great at her job and would definitely love to have her again. read more

We been here a few times since the reopening, I'm so impressed with the service, friendly and helpful! Great new decor too! I'm obsessed with the salad bar! Great food specials as well! And don't miss out on the yeast rolls & garlic cheese toast! Yummy!!! Kudos read more

New place... Very friendly staff and good food. The salad bar is massive and they have tacos and wings in the salad bar. Dessert is also included. U can get the steak and free salad. Super friendly staff.. Nice ones indeed and they explain how it works. The steak however I wish was bigger. read more

Love this place! food is spot on, service is good, restaurant is clean, comfortable atmosphere, affordable price, no complaints here.

I come here with my mother once in a while and it is always clean and friendly. The food is good and comes in a timely manner. I often get the salad bar and it has variety. Thanks for the great service Mindy. Will be back. read more

Went for Mother's day dinner with 7 other family members. The service was on point and the food was excellent. Prices are really reasonable. These guys were out of this world busy, but the staff was still cheerful and attentive. Love this place! read more

Went for lunch today. The decor had been updated since I last ate there. It is very nice and very clean. Anyone who has eaten at sizzler knows you walk up and order and pay before you are seated. My friend paid by credit card and was asked if she would like to leave a tip. We were surprised to be asked this. Unless the establishment has an automatic tax you usually leave a tip based on the service you receive. That really bothered me because it puts the customer on the spot and could embarrass the customer. Bad policy. We ordered the salad bar and there were plenty of choices. Everything was fresh and was what I would expect from Sizzler. I enjoyed my lunch and will come back. read more

I recently went after they remodel, and was impressed by the way they gave the old place a fresh look! The service has greatly improved, though it was quite busy the last time we went in so we did wait a bit for things but overall it was a good experience. They updated the menu, with new selections for healthy plate options and combos including the full salad bar which was nice. I was disappointed they changed their bread though! read more

Before the renovation, Sizzler was dead and dingy. Now after the renovation, it's become alive. The atmosphere was fun and the service friendly. Great meal. read more

The best salad bar EVER!! Got the pork chop (perfectly cooked) and added the salad bar! Seriously so good. There so many options. Yum! Love it! read more

So I just went to dinner here and I must say I love the salad and desert bar. Not a bad selection of adult beverages either. I felt like the biggest pain purely because I had to send my Medium Rare steak back because it was overcooked(and for me it was not something I could suck it up in eat, talk about an all American girl lol) however they were so receptive of bringing out another. The manager brought it out and made sure it was up to standard by waiting till I cut into it and saw my beautiful pink slightly bleeding steak. I forgot that I probably should have assumed that in a kitchen things come out slightly more cooked due to health codes and what have you. I will be back but in the future I will be sticking to burgers, salad and desert and getting my steak eating on at home. read more

I haven't eaten at Sizzler in quite awhile. We were thoroughly impressed! The food was delicious and the restaurant exceptionally clean. The salad bar was incredible! My husband had the menudo and he loved it. We will definitely be going back! read more

5 stars for a Sizzler?! Am I out of my mind...no, but I am in pleasant shock. Got the Shrimp Alfredo and husband ordered the Tri tip with some rice thing. We also both got unlimited salad bar for a few extra bucks more. The Salad Bar is more like an everything bar : tacos, FRESH fruit, spaghetti + meatballs, 4 soups and so many salad options! Everything was fresh and delicious . 4 stars for the food, and the 5th star for service. A homeless guy walked in and the guy at the counter called him sir and treated him with respect. Smart move on his part, because in this economy, homeless guys have a fatter wallet than we do. read more

Hubby and I discovered the oceanside location after going to the Murrieta Sizzler, which we love!! We are new to the area, living in Fallbrook now but looking for a house in Oceanside so we were excited when the management in Murrieta told us about their partner store in Oceanside which had undergone the same great remodel. We found the food items to be the same but that's where the similarity stops! The management and servers are a whole different caliber. Attention to detail deffinitely is not there. We visited on a busy weekend day and the bathrooms were filthy and there was trash running over into the floor and they were out of tissue. I brought it to the attention of one of the workers refilling the salad bar who made no comment, not sure if she understood English, but another visit after dinner proved no improvement. The salad bar itself was untidy to say the least, Nothing like the Murrieta store, where they quickly took care of any spills and made sure everything was refilled, fresh and impeccabley clean and shiny. The employees who take the orders at the front desk are friendly but the rest of the workers mope around in a daze. most of The servers act as if they could care less about serving you.(there is one male exception who was very good on our second visit). We want to like this place so we'll keep coming back in hopes it improves. We think the owners should drop in from time to time for a good look at what's going on..why the huge difference from the Murrieta store ?? Oh, and what's up with the cheesy silverware? Now I'm just getting picky but when you pick up that paper thin fork, you wonder if it's going to bend in half when your cutting the steak. read more

Haven't been here in forever. We thought we would try it and bam! It's good! Steak and endless salad bar. Steak has been cooked as ordered each time. Salad bar isn't extensive but offers enough to make a good salad. There's also an extra area to the salad bar which includes tacos stuff, baked potatoes, soup and fried chicken. Service isn't awesome but its nothing worth complaining about. read more

Waiter was great as for all you can eat bar BAD if it's a slow day. They don't care if the hot portion of the salad bar is cold well it looks like things sitting there for hours cuz they're all dried out and then when you go to the front to tell someone all you get is a ohh so sorry told waiter who again was great he said he would inform the manager. You would think the manager would come out check his guests or do some quality checks but only saw manager for a min when I cam in then never again. Whatever happened to customer service. read more

Stopped by today Sunday around 1pm with my twin granddaughters (14) visiting from Nebraska...they love Sizzler (there are none near where they live) so going was a trest, looking forward to Salad Bar and Sizzler Toast. Well....the waitress brings us over for the 3 of us "1" slice of toast! Stating they ran out!!!! What? I said. She said look around we are so busy we ran out.....Okkkkkkkk We were pretty upset about this since the main reason was the yummy toast. After a while I asked a waiters that normally helps my husband and I when visiting. He was serving "Toast" to 2 other tables with NO problem. I asked him "I thought there was no more toast", he began to tell me that the Manager rations the food and does not listen to the waiters when they complain, this for personal gain as when the restaurant makes a higher $ gain then he the Mgr receives a higher monthly commission. I do not know if this is correct or not. So he told me I should tell the Mgr myself. So I did. The Mgr came over and I asked him about the Toast shortage, he said "Oh there is none! We have plenty being made in the kitchen, its probably the servers who are busy and don't want to make the extra trips to the kitchen"! What!!!? Within minutes HE brought over a plate with 3 slices of Sizzler toast. What is going on there? I have visited Sizzlers for over 40 years and NEVER have they been short on their prize Sizzler Toast! read more

They have great service. They have a great server her name is Isabel. They have great salad bar. Love this place!!!!

If you have a problem with your food, don't expect them to take care of it. The restaurant is generally good food with very nice servers. But I had a problem with my food being cooked to be like jerky, when I told them, they offered nothing except "we are sorry" I complained to main office and they sent back a form letter but resolution. If your meal is fine, expect a good experience, but if you have a problem, don't expect them to fix it. read more

Came here for Valentines Day, and headed here extra early to make sure we were ahead of the crowds. I had never been to a Sizzler before but after driving by it every day I had to try it out! I got the salad bar option as did my boyfriend, and I was very impressed by the salad and topping selection! As a vegetarian, I was worried there wouldn't be a lot to choose from, but after 3 full plates of different salads/dressings/toppings, plus a big bowl of mac n cheese, I was totally satisfied. We also had the ice cream which was delish. I'll definitely be back at some point! read more

I order all you can eat salad bar and never even received the Baked Potato with it. Then they said I had ordered the endless shrimp plate, which I did. I had come back with my first plate of endless salad bar and then they had wanted to know where to place my really big plate of shrimp down. I had to throw my napkins put of the way. My mother ordered a rare steak and received it medium well done. I ordered water and of course I was served last while the server was running around getting their Tea's and what note's. I can in last and still had to wait for a re-fill. A word to the wise, take a cooking class or look up other places that would serve and do steak the way you would want it to served to you. Sizzler - Seafood Near Me - Oceanside, California

Ordered New York Steak, it was great. Salad bar looked amazing and the server Leo was very nice. What got my attention was the girl and the man ( I think was the manager at the register) were very inattentive at the point that the staff said " Thank you" at the end and we passed by the manager, he did not acknowledge us at all. read more

This is an excellent restaurant. I've eaten here many times over the years and the meals have consistently been very good.

Great food! Love their cheese toast and the steak is always so flavorful! The shrimp was very good, I don't like shrimp but I tried some and ate it all read more

Unlimited shrimp and salad bar?! You'll always find me here. The staff is the sweetest and you can't beat the prices. Very clean dining area as well. read more

I am honestly super disappointed with this restaurant. I went there for my birthday dinner and the food was just super bland and nothing special. I ordered the steak and unlimited shrimp with mash potatoes with the unlimited salad buffet and my friend ordered a burger with what was supposed to be garlic mashed potatoes and also fries. Well the cashier didn't charge or understand her order so she never received her fries and rhe garlic mash potatoes were not even garlic or even good. Then my waitress was just kind of rude I asked for a big box so my food wouldn't and she brought me 2 small boxes instead so I had to go ask for a big box and she came up being rude again. I am honestly super disappointed and upset that this was a terrible birthday dinner. read more

Jackie & Leo are the best!!! Always enjoy when they are there and serve you with a smile on their face. Great service overall.

With a warm welcome to the Carlsbad's Sizzler from Matthew, our visit started out spectacular. The salad bar exceeded my expectations. From cool crispy lettuce to hot side dishes, my meal was delicious! Our server, Jackie was very helpful and made our stay enjoyable. Recommended to friends and family, and plan on visiting again. read more

Today I reluctantly went to the Sizzler in Oceanside. I last went here about 10 years ago due to lackluster service and poor tasting food. Tonight however, my sister convinced me to give Sizzler another chance. I was surprised at the friendly and helpful attitude provided by my cashier (Kross) and also by the great customer service provided by Gasey. We had a party of four and we all had our meals delivered in a timely manner. Additionally, the quality and the taste of our meals far exceeded my expectations. Hence, if your looking for a nice place, excellent customer service, and great tasting food at a great price then try the new updated Sizzler. read more

We are regulars at this location as my family loves the place. They have really improved and gotten much better over the years. The food is fresh, clean and delicious. But the food speaks for itself. The reason I came here tonight is one of their servers, her name is Melissa. She is one of the best servers there. Her smile lights up the place and she is sweeter than their bread rolls. She has a way with people and makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. Tonight was the second time she had served us,and she went above and beyond to serve us. I will make sure to request that our family get to be seated at one of her tables from now on. Thank you so much Melissa for the great customer service you provide! Keep up the great work!!! read more

Love the new decor and huge salad bars. It is much improved.

Love the updated menu and remodel. Glad this restaurant reopened. Service was great! Definetly returning with my family.

This is one of the most underrated restaurants of all time. No, I'm not old. 37 to be exact. They have one of the best salad bars around. All their red meats are awesome. Better than some higher rated places. Leo is one of the nicest servers around. He'll take care of you. I don't have anything bad to say about this place. My wife and I love this place. read more

OK, I admit it. My wife and I love this place. We both travel on business all over the world and can eat in fancy restaurants as we wish. And we do. But when home if we want a Saturday lunch date, followed by a nap, this is the go to place. The food is surprisingly good. People always dis chain places but we all eat at them because 1) we know what we are getting; 2) the food is acceptable; and, 3) reasonably priced. But the fact is we eat at chains. I really like this link in this chain so I want to give it a serious review. Work with me on this. Remember the nap comment above? We usually go to get pleasantly sated and for me that means ordering one of the bigger steaks. I take most of it home because frankly I like cold left over steak better. That means get the all you can eat salad bar. It has a wide selection and is fresh. The problem with a lot of chains is the salad bar items all taste the same. Not here. The service is great. The gentleman who was our server was literally the most upbeat, friendly (without being a pain) server we have ever experienced anywhere. This was not a fluke as we have had him before. The staff is all good. You are not going to brag to your friends you went to Sizzler on a weekend date but if you like steak or chicken, and want to pleasantly stuff your face on fixings, it doesn't get much better. This is what a link in a chain should be. read more

I think this is my first sizzler experience ever...GROSS. I ordered the chicken with melted cheese on cheese bread and the sautéed spinach. Sandwich was greasy as all heck and the sautéed spinach had what tasted like salad dressing on it. Just a total flop. I am so sorry I ate there while there was a good looking noodle house in the same mini mall. On a positive note my waitress was beautiful. Get out of Sizzler girl. The world is waiting for you :) read more

Salad was really good. Well stocked and our waitress was very nice. We had the shrimp for a main course and I was a bit surprised how good it was all in all. The lady at the front wasn't that great. She was supposedly training a new hire. Felt sorry for the new hire. The price is good. Would recommend eating there. read more

Wow I am absolutely impressed by the service and food here, everything was perfect!!!!

One of our favorites for salad bar Tonite we had ribs and Hubie had a small steak with his. Waiter brought the wrong order and we had to wait while they fixed it. Had to ask for more napkins twice (ribs) and finally got them myself. Just not a good night to be there. read more
