I have been going to Sizzler for a little over 3 years now and I absolutely love the atmosphere the staff is wonderful the food is great but there is one issue I haven't seen my favorite girl Izzy. I had the all you can eat salad bar. The beef and veggie soup was amazing, it had so much big chunks of beef and great flavor. If You know Sizzler's salad bar then you know it has a hot entree section that includes a taco bar (still Not good in my opinion, taco meat not traditional and has strange texture and flavor), spaghetti section, fried food section (wedges and fried chicken wings) could have been fresher and refilled. Service was nothing to write Home about. Some of the workers seemed less than happy to be there and it showed. Not that they were rude, just that they were bored and didn't talk with much enjoyment. I don't know if this is the trend with customer service in all food and entertainment industry but it's almost like workers believe it's ok to share their unhappiness with customers. When I receive exceptional service, I tip exceptionally and when I get no Fanfare I give the no Fanfare tips. Sometimes I give the standard 20% feeling perhaps the person was having a bad day but now I'm seeing too many people having this "attitude" so this is having me rethink my tipping process. So managers and workers if you want a exceptional tip, you know what to do; remember service with a smile. So sorry Sizzler you get 3 stars for restocking fresh hot food entree section and customer service with no smile. My visit cost me $24 that's including tip and I expected more for my money. We found ourselves at Sizzler the other day and I was pleasantly surprised. They had a deal where you get a free endless salad bar with the purchase of a meal. That was a great deal. I got the petite steak and potato and that endless salad. The steak was really good and cooked perfectly medium rare. The salad bar was fresh and there were plenty of options. I loaded up on the salad bar and took home my steak to make a sandwich the next day, Perfect! The service was not great. They wanted the 7 of us to cram into a little space in a crowded area of the restaurant. I found a table in the "closed" section of the restaurant that actually fit the 7 of us and they reluctantly allowed us to sit there. It worked out but they did remind us that we were in the "closed section" a few times. By the way, the "closed section" was just the tables on the other side of the salad bar, not a different room or anything. If they have the free salad bar deal, 4 stars. Without the free salad bar it's just too overpriced, 2 stars. That's where I get the 3 star rating. read more

The food was nasty it was presented like slop for pigs on metal pans and did not look edible. The Chicken was bland and tough on my disassembled supposed grilled chicken club I could tell it had been microwaved. The stars are for the staff, they were very attentive and accommodating. I'm not sure why people are upset about the food, to me Sizzler has always been mediocre so it seems pretty much the same mediocre food. The one thing I was a little worried about was....I thought I saw a bug on the bar but when I turned the corner to check for sure it was gone....so I'm not positive.
