The food here is always great! The service even better! I've never had a bad experience here at all. Every staff I've encounter has always been great with us. Our servers always checks on us and you guys are on top with your drinks! It's one of the best restaurants with amazing service and fast service too I ever been! Y'all so welcoming too ! Lots of space here even for a busy day. I love the window how they face the street especially in raining days. There's server there, her name is Mariah and she's always so sweet and always checking up on us. This was our first stop after a 3 hour drive. I'll be honest, the area felt a little sketchy at first. I parked right out front and asked to sit by the window so I could keep an eye on my car. That said, the staff was incredibly friendly. I really appreciated their energy and how attentive they were. I ordered some sweet pancakes (can't remember the exact name or flavor), but they were a bit dry, and the fries were slightly overcooked. Still, it was a decent spot to grab a quick bite before heading to the hotel. read more

I've been to Merced many times on this Sunday I was rather hungry....lets go to Dennys. Upon my arrival the parking lot was packed. My thought was I'll never get a seat and be served. I was able to sit at the bar in front...perfect. I was greeted by a friendly waitress. My order was taken immediately (Grand Slam) which I received in an about 8 minutes after sitting down. Use to be able to sub anything on the menu now you can be lucky to even get the chance to sub something the prices go up but the sizes and portions go down Over all it's just getting worse and worse and worse Removing all the good stuff from the menu that people actually liked if you have a choice I would say pick the other restaurant over going here read more

This is probably the best Denny's I've been to in a while as far as the food is concerned. Everything was cooked perfectly and surprisingly tasty. Not too salty or greasy. The service wasn't bad. Our waitress was friendly and came back to check on us at least once after the food came out. We did have to flag her down to get the check, but she came right over. Now, the negatives. The flies. So many flies. It took everything to keep them out of my food and off my person. It was most aggravating. It also took forever for the food to come out. However, once it was out, it was pretty good. read more

I don't understand what is happening with Denny's, but I hope you read this review. Ms. L was our server for the night. She came took our orders and then proceeded to wait on other tables. I ordered a double avocado cheeseburger with mushrooms. My wife ordered the breaded chicken with vegetables. While Ms. L was walking past me she noticed that I was looking at the utensils she had previously left at our table. She asked if anything was wrong. I pointed out that the utensils still had food from the previous customer. She went and got us plastic utensils to use instead. Finally our order came in and my burger did not have the mushrooms I had asked for. The chicken my wife ordered was severely undercooked. It was still pink. If you don't know what could happen if you eat raw chicken meat please take the time to Google it. Make your own judgement and be safe. read more

I'm pretty sure everyone has tried a Denny's location in their life, so as expected their food here taste like any other and looks close to the picture. This is a great place for meals around the clock because not too many places stay open 24/7 anymore, just don't expect to be blown away or make this your go to spot. They offer unlimited food options from time to time which is nice, but in comparison to others breakfast options, their bacon has to be the saddest looking; I'm not an expert but I don't think you should be able to see through bacon. read more

9/3/23, we dined in today ordering two T-bone steak breakfasts. We have not been here for several months. We don't eat here 1-3 AM anymore because we observed gang members on drugs eating during those hours and many homeless outside when we walked in. I faithfully eat here, at LEAST once a week. Staff is great. Really. BUT, I come sometimes and the foods great but food is going downhill fast. I sat in a booth with my family and were attacked by gnats. (See pictures) there were LOTS OF THEM. Not just one or two. Could not eat in peace. And then they crawled on my food, so I couldn't finish. Now I understand it's not intentional but we couldn't even eat most our meal as they crawled on our food. You can see the gnats in the pics and also, as you can tell by the pics, hasbrowns and eggs are cooked to death. Seriously tired of spending my money on this food. I seriously loved it here, and now I think I am going to take my family elsewhere. Super sad. read more

I hadn't been to this restaurant in quite a few years. As of last year I've had breakfast and late night service. Both times were great and our servers were always phenomenal. Food was good for the most part, I'd recommended to skip on the biscuits and gravy, hard and not much flavor in the gravy. It's changed from sausage to chicken tender bits. I rate it a solid 4 star overall because of value for pay. Some dishes are a miss but I loved my milk shake and double berry pancakes the most, the hostess isn't friendly to patrons and ignored staff that needed help. Regardless, we tipped recognizing the value of the cooks and servers. We'll be back again. read more
