BREAKFAST - Went for the first time today and was disappointed. For this experience to be all you can eat they did not have a lot out at one time. They brought out 6-7 pancakes at a time, the oatmeal looked like soup, the cheerios were stale and the bacon was not fully cooked with extra grease. I asked the waitress about the oatmeal she agreed, too much water. She went to ask if they were going to make anymore and was told no along with they followed the directions. Well, we have been eating here for about 25 years. But No Mo ! We just went there for salad bar for dinner and everthing was just left overs from lunch, disgusting ! This restaurant has made tremendous upgrades over the years. The salad bar is fresh with plenty of variety. They have a separate chef's area where you can take your salad plate and they'll toss it together for you. Someone constantly walks around cleaning and refilling items, which is always a plus for something that people touch and grab from, constantly. Employees were very friendly as well. read more

Same old good food I remembered from when i was a kid. Service was initally good but our server barely came by. Overall, I'd go again for their salad bar. They also had a good mango lemonade that was delicious. It also had real mangos in it which is a great thing to see. And their cheesy butter bread is always delicious. read more

Tried once again to order from DoorDash after I was assured by Sizzler that my complaint would be addressed to the store in Carson. Well, they blew it again. Steak was ice cold like it had come out of a fridge, salad was 1/2 of normal. Asked for dressing on the side because I usually eat it later in the evening, they put the dressing on. If you have elderly people in your party, this is not the place for you. I took my parents to have lunch after Church, this place was crowded, so my dad and mom went ahead to take a seat while we were waiting to order. One of the workers asked my parents to move out of the seats, that they needed the whole party to be there to sit at the same time. My dad has arthritis and can not be standing for a long time, and my mom has colon cancer, and she's on dialysis, so it is hard for them to stand. This girl was rude, that tone of voice that she used, we got offended and told her the reason why they were sent first to get a table. The girls did not care. So we call the manager Julie, who did not do much. At that time I wanted to leave the restaurant, but because of my parents, I knew that they were tired and hungry we stayed. Last sizzler in our area. The restaurant is clean and the service from our waitress was very good. The salad bar is what drew me here after a few years. It's exactly the same as I remember it. Same wings, same taco/nacho bar (just missing the carnitas). Three soup options and of course build your own salad along with some premade options. Desert options were good. Overall I had a great experience. But why not 5 stars, 2 things. 1 It doesn't matter how you ask for your steak to be done (rare, medium or well done) cuz it's coming out well done regardless of what you order. 2 they gatekeep the wings. Now to be honest it didn't happen to us. A mom and her 2 daughters walked in and got the salad bar and focused on soup and wings. After a few refills they stopped bringing out wings and when the family asked for more they told them they ran out. As soon as they left they brought out more wings. Shady to say the least. I have ordered for pick up from this location several times now and every single time they over cook the steak. MEDIUM RARE, how difficult is it to understand that. I have been here numerous times but the last time I visited about 2 weeks ago, was ridiculous. Every table was filthy, food was all over the floor, and workers just kept walking by all the mess. I had to stop someone and ask them to clean up the floor around the table my family was sitting at because it was atrocious. There was no ice in the soda machine and the sundae area was a mess. I complained to the Corporate office and got nothing but a lack luster response, not even an offer to refund my monies for such a terrible experience. This place was okay and I always enjoy my time at Sizzler. The staff was nice but didn't really come around as much. The food was also okay. I ended up just ordering the salad bar and it was the usual that I like. Good selection of salad and toppings along with fruit. I also had the chicken wings, which are always a favorite, the Mac n cheese, nachos, and carnitas. The chips for the nachos were a little stale but I still ate them. The carnitas are so juicy and every time I come here I always get it. I end up making nachos with the carnitas on top. The Mac n cheese was really creamy and tasty. I always have that when I come too. The garlic cheese toast is good too. I always end my lunch with a sundae! There was a lot more choices for toppings and they even have salted caramel soft serve. I understand the food shortage and COVID that is happening. But man..$15.00 for a salad bar with frozen veggies? Almost everything at the bar was frozen. It still had ice on them. If Luz, the loser doesn't want to be at work, perhaps she shouldn't. I asked for a server without attitude and it was much better after that. The Torrance store just closed and had servers looking for jobs, you should replace Luz with an outstanding server who deserves and actually wants to work. First time visiting any Sizzler in years, I sat with two friends waiting over an hour before I was informed the beverages were self serve. In addition, the small meagerly stocked salad bar had no soup spoons visible. When I asked for one I received one that appeared to have food crusted on it. I was told when leaving that there were also another salad and dessert station where they provide additional salad items like chicken breast chunks, and toss it for you. I have eaten at this Sizzler many times over the past 30+ years. I never felt compelled to write a review until my recent visit on September 6th. All COVID-19 restrictions have been removed except the mask while walking around. There were 4 of us and we all had the salad bar meal. I was immediately concerned about how many people were circling the salad bar touching food and spoon handles who would return to their table, remove their mask and start touching everything. Every table full. People speaking loudly. A Delta variant nightmare. Now the food : the salad bar had no labels on any items so you don't know if you are getting ranch or bleu cheese dressing. The taco station is now nachos only. The toppings for the nachos had no chicken or ground beef but BARBECUE shredded beef. If there were buns maybe I would have made a barbecue sandwich. The chicken wings are now chicken nuggets. The clam chowder (which used to be my favorite) was just ok, very thin and shiny. The Only good food item was the signature cheese toast. Last night i was in my old stomping grounds in Carson. While trying to figure out where to get my grub on,i noticed a lot of new food places by the mall. It was refreshing to see the Sizzler still there holding it down. Haven't had Sizzler since the movie "white men can't jump",was out. Had a server name Meisha who was excellent. Bubbly personality,polite,& easy on the eyes. She was very consistent with removing plates,to make more room,as well as accommodate our needs.
