Went shopping for a mattress on Saturday and looked at nearby ortho and mattress city. It was a very strange experience going to the other two, as they feel like it's back in the 80s where salesman are trying to negotiate and their listed price can be cut nearly 50%! Why heck can't they just show you their lowest price? I hate that. However, sit n' sleep is sort of like the Best Buy of mattresses. It's great. no hassles, no negotiating, no sales pitches, no pressure. nothing like the other stores. I would highly recommend this place. We had a very knowledgeable lady help us and she really operated from the perspective of the customer, rather than focusing on the sale. We never felt we were being sold to. I was a bit concerned that we were not informed about the less expensive, more economical mattresses and were immediately introduced to the higher priced ones, but at least we were sold the most expensive ones first (this was done at the other mattress places, especially at Mattress City, so I'm puzzled why they have so many 5-star reviews) read more

My husband and I were very happy with our experience shopping for a new bed. As we have purchased several beds over the past decade from Sit 'n Sleep, the information of our precious purchases were in the database. That helped Jennifer lead us to our new purchase. I have always bought my beds at Sit n Sleep and they have always been very good, reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Jennifer Cho sold me my bed back in January and she couldn't have been any nicer, she was very professional, and knew a lot about the beds. It turns out, my bed was defective and started sagging after a few months. I called customer service and they sent out a person to inspect the mattress, and it turned out the mattress was defective. I went back to the store this week and Jennifer Cho helped me again and I got the same wonderful customer service from her. Sit n Sleep honored their warranty, and I was able to pick out a new bed at no charge, with no questions asked. Jennifer apologized for the inconvenience and as usual, the delivery of mr new bed is within 2 to 3 days. I will always shop at Sit n Sleep. read more

As soon as we entered we were warmly greeted by William Saiki. William was very helpful and extremely patient with us while we tried out almost half the stores mattress for two hours. I mean this is an important purchase that will affect my time with the misses, if you know what I mean. William never rushed us or pressured us at anytime during our time there. I had an excellent experience at Sit 'n Sleep in Pasadena. The Assistant Manager Brian Jens is the person who helped me find the bed I wanted. He listened to what I was looking for and did not try to sell me something else. He did not waste my time and he showed me precisely what I had in mind. The bed was delivered and set up quickly at my home, only a day or two later. Those delivery men wore masks and were very polite and efficient in the set up. In the store, it is all well organized regarding hygiene and prevention of Covid. They provide hand sanitizer, everyone is wearing masks and they provide disposable paper sheets to use when trying out the comfort of a particular bed. I would highly recommend Sit 'n Sleep and the store in Pasadena has abundant free parking very, very close to the store! read more

This was my first time mattress shopping and my experience at the Pasadena Sit n Sleep exceeded all expectations! I went in to help my parents pick a new mattress, and here are a few highlights: 1) Amidst COVD-19, our experience felt very clean and safe. They limited the amount of people in the store (less than customers at a time); had hand sanitizer readily available, took everyone's temperature, provided sheets for protection while testing out mattresses, and the staff was fully masked. 2) The selection of mattresses was amazing! They had the biggest name brands and high quality types (foam, hybrid, spring, plus other new technology). 3) Delivery was so easy and quick. We bought the mattress Saturday and slept on it by Sunday night. The guys that delivered the mattress took precautionary measures and were in and out of our house within 10 minutes with extremely efficient set up! 4) Lastly, I have to give a huge shout out to Jennifer Cho. She was so knowledgeable, thorough, and patient with us as we went between the various mattresses. I definitely feel that because of her, we made the best decision for my parents and she gave excellent advise based off their sleep experiences and physical needs. I would definitely recommend asking for her when visiting the Pasadena location. We purchased Sealy Silver Chill Full Queen Hybrid mattress with a low profile box spring. The salesman was great. The deal was good. The wait was long. The delivery, quite frankly sucked. They wouldn't take my old bed & boxspring, due to evidence of dust mites. Now I have to spend $200 to get rid of the old stuff. And, insult to injury, they delivered 2 pillows, left & called back later to say they were another customers. I had to return to my place & give them back & miss an important appointment. Then they texted my for my opinion. I told them & they never replied. Great customer service, if you can call it that! Choose someone else. Update: Manager Brian Jens at the Lake/Del Mar store took my complaint very seriously. He compensated me with an Airlock Cirrus pillow that was equal to the value I spent dumping my old stuff. I purchased a new mattress under warranty after the first mattress my wife and I had began to sink only 2 years in to using it. Our new mattress was delivered and during the process, the movers damaged my night stand. I've attempted to reach out to sit n sleeps customer service which they then tell me I have to deal with the moving company. I've sent 3 emails with documented pictures of the damaged night stand and no response or call back. It has now been a month since I first attempted to contact customer service. read more

The best mattress store! I needed to find a replacement mattress as the memory foam one I had used for the past two years was not providing sufficient lumbar support. I went into the store to do some preliminary research and was greeted by Peter, a very friendly and professional sales rep. He worked with me patiently to find the right brand and did not pressure me one bit to make a sale. I finally went back into the store this week and he helped me get what I needed at significant savings, and everything was delivered the next day. They lie! Set up delivery date and time at time of purchase by sales rep. All seemed to be going good...got two phone calls for confirmation and two emails also confirming. Bed didn't arrive the day it was supposed to. Called Customer Service that day and the rep first tells us that WE had changed the date. After pointing out the two calls and emails we had for confirmation she then changes her story to say that It was the sales rep at the store who changed the time. Called sales rep at the store and she responded annoyed and acted like we were bothering her. She tells me "it wasn't me but it's ok, you'll get it tomorrow". Nope, Not ok! My girlfriend and I stumbled into sit n sleep after talking to some other mattress place and trying out a disappointing bed in a box. Immediately Jennifer greeted us and gave us a 4 minute science fiction sleep test and directed us to a king koil bed. I had never heard of king koil but this is the first bed we both loved immediately. Next, Jennifer showed us zero g mode on an adjustable base, and I was floating in space! This thing was awesome. Went home to think about it and ended up getting the bed a few days later. We were hooked up with free shipping on Sunday, and they came and setup everything for us and moved around our old furniture. Awesome service. I REALLY EXPECTED TO BE BORED. Seriously. I expected this place to be another run of the mill mattress store. Pasadena is quite a ways from home, but I needed to help a friend get a bed. Sure enough, Mr. Rafael came and greeted us. Asked if we had any questions and made sure that our satisfaction was our first priority. I wasn't planning on sleeping on the bed, but the day I came in, I learned more about beds than a normal person would need to know. (Ikea, I'm comin for you...) Rafael was able to set us up, get us a great price and finalize the deal within an hour. (This is including us browsing and me "Rick James'ing" a few beds). If/When I need to get rid of my own personal soiled mattress, I'll definitely be coming back and for Rafael. read more

I Bought a mattress here a few weeks ago. Was assisted by both sales associate Michael and Manager Jennifer. Great experience, both were extremely helpful and knowledgeable without any pressure. I even stated I was shopping at other mattress stores, and was pleased the reaction I got was understanding and not high pressure or negative. Both Michael and Jennifer were great. Still not sure I like the mattress I got (it still feels much harder than the floor sample) but it does seem to be slowly softening up as Jennifer assured me it would. Hopefully It will eventually become soft and comfortable enough that I wont have to exchange it. At least if I do I know the staff will be a pleasure to deal with. read more

This is the second bed I have bought from Jennifer Cho the Sales Manager of the Pasadena store. I would never buy a bed from anyone else. Although it was a little different buying a bed with all of the incredible safety precautions they have put in place, the experience was the same. Jenny is just a great person.
