At this point in her search, I just wanted her to find the right mattress because she was having back issues. We walked into Mattress City and met Paul and he was absolutely what we needed. He is so nice, intelligent, and knowledgable about mattresses. My favorite part - he spoke to my mom like a person and not a dollar. He let us try (pretty much) all the mattresses, was super patient, explained the differences based on her need, and didn't make us feel like something had to be bought right then and there. I explained my situation and said that I needed a firm and supportive mattress. He took us to a few beds to try. We even tried the expensive Tempur-pedic mattress. That didn't work for me as it was too soft. We ended up between two more traditional styles and I ended up with the Airloom. Adis was very patient and explained the pros and cons of each mattress for us. I didn't feel rushed or pressured. In the end, we made up our own minds and feel we got the best one for us. He was able to work with us a little on the price and we made our purchase. He told us a week to 10 days for delivery and it was exactly that. We had the mattress delivered this morning and the delivery guys were great. They even fixed a broken bit on our frame. I have to say that the new mattress is so great. We are loving it. We were informed that a switch fee must be processed through Synchrony Bank, and we have been completely unable to access our account due to "verification" requirements. We have submitted all requested documentation, yet it has now been over three weeks with no resolution. During this time, we have called daily, only to be told repeatedly to "wait another week." Mattress Firm employees have been polite, but they have not been able to assist, leaving us stuck in the middle with no clear answers. At this point, what was supposed to be a straightforward comfort guarantee has turned into a stressful and exhausting experience. We are concerned that this delay may push us beyond the four-month window, which feels unfair and unsettling. We have been patient and respectful throughout this process, but the lack of communication and progress has been extremely disappointing. We do want to escalate the situation at this point.
