Sisters is BOMB. I don't say that lightly. I've been here many times now, and it's consistently incredible. The soft serve is out of this world. The pizza is amazing. And the lasagna is hands down the best I've ever eaten. The ambiance is also such a vibe. The interior is so Tucson and so cute, with this perfect mix that somehow feels like stepping into a Tucson-meets-Italian paradise. On one visit, we had the mezze plate to start. Everything was super fresh and packed with flavor. My girlfriend is vegan, and they were great about accommodating, adding vegan cheese alongside the goat cheese without hesitation. We also shared a big salad and the Veggie Supreme pizza with vegan cheese on half, and just like everything else here, it was next-level fresh and delicious. I'm picky about pizza crust and usually skip it, but not here. I ate every single bite. Every dish I've had at Sisters has been consistently out-of-this-world. 10/10. Can't recommend it enough, especially before a show. read more

I visited with a group of five and ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza, fries, and a margarita. The pizza was a good size for the price, but the flavor was pretty basic. The ranch was definitely the highlight--it was delicious and easily the best part of the meal. Unfortunately, the fries tasted old and not very fresh. The margarita was also disappointing, as it tasted like it was made with a powdered margarita mix rather than fresh ingredients. The service was a mixed experience. The staff was generally nice and friendly, but several items were forgotten throughout our meal and we had to ask multiple times for things. When our table asked about splitting the check, the waitress seemed a little annoyed by the request, which made the interaction feel less welcoming. Overall, the restaurant has some positives, but the food quality and consistency of service left room for improvement. I plan on visiting again and will update my review if necessary. read more

Soft serve margaritas? Count me in! I love anything in soft serve form and this creamy and sweet margarita really hit the sweet spot between boozy beverage and dessert. Sisters is a cute name, too, considering their location next to a church-turned-theater and all the nun paraphernalia made this a unique spot overall to grab a bite with friends. We started with the prosciutto and melon. This was absolutely delightful! Although I could have gone without the chimmichurri. We also got the fries which were decent but I don't love that they were served in a brown bag as well as the Caesar salad. The real star was the meat lovers pizza. This was huge and packed with toppings! Easily made for a filling meal and then some leftovers too. Would definitely come back and catch a show next door too! Great vibes all around. read more

It's a cute little place. We went to try the margarita soft serve ice cream! It was smaller than I thought it would be and tasty enough but not something I would get again. In fact, none of us did. We tried the meatballs for an appetizer and that was a hearty portion that came with focaccia bread. Also, not as tasty as we had hoped. We tried two pizzas and they were fine. Our friend said her sandwich was the best she had ever had. Our waitress was super nice and friendly! Overall, decent experience but not sure I would necessarily go back. read more

We went here before a concert at LaRosa. We didn't eat but we did have a couple coctails. I had an Aperol Spritz mocktail for $10 which turned out to be orange juice and club size with an orange garnish. It was ok...not what I expected. My husband had a margarita and he said it was tart and tasty but nothing special. Didn't eat anything. When we arrived without a reservation they were very short with us and informed us that we would need to find a place at the bar which we did. Sisters is a great addition to Tucson's restaurant scene, and I love the menu. Plenty of small bites, shareables and full entrees, and everything I've had has been delish. I love the pizza by the slice options, and the dressing on the dressed greens is light and fresh. My husband loved the meatballs and lasagna, both of which were amazing. The margarita soft serve was so fun, and I love the mocktails (the spritz is my fave.) I've also been to a few of the Hot Mess craft night events, which were so much fun, and this patio is amazing. Overall, Sisters was a great experience! We ventured in before a show at La Rosa and the wait was ultimately short because we had reservations, which was nice. Our server was attentive, personable and answered all our questions. We ordered salads, a regular pizza and their gluten free pizza, which was crispy, flavorful and really delicious. Such an exciting new place on the Tucson scene! I found it through one of the Yelp reviews on my feed and immediately took my friends. They enjoyed their house margaritas while I tried their "Mandorla" cocktail. Refreshing yet refined. I also tried their "Second Thought" espresso martini made with their neighbor's Yellow Brick Coffee. Another success. We sat at the bar by the kitchen and couldn't help but smell whatever amazing dish they were cooking up back there. I decided to try their weekly special slice "Hot Honey + Spanish Chorizo". PHENOMENAL. This place was such a good find and I hope many more people find it and it stays a staple for years to come. Such a cool spot connected to La Rosa! It has a similar concept to R Bar & The Rialto. I like that we can order food and drinks from here then walk over to La Rosa for a show. The vibe is cozy and low lit and I like that their menu price point is very affordable and that the quality is nice. I enjoyed a meaty pizza slice, I loved the bread. The Golden Hour drink was decent. I like that you can take your drinks in a plastic cup over to the venue. I'm excited about this spot and look forward to taking friends here and attending events at La Rosa in the same night! read more

I ate dinner here with four friends recently. The place was packed. Service was slow--so slow that they comped us the whole meal except for the beer. They said it was only their sixth day in business. I ordered a meatball hoagie sandwich ($16), which came with a side salad. It was pretty good aside from being lukewarm and taking an hour to arrive. Otherwise not too different from the meatball hoagies at eegee's or Mama's Famous. My friend who ordered a slice of veggie pizza wasn't too impressed with it. I hope they straighten out their service issues, but that won't change that the food is just ordinary. read more

As a local i'm finding it very hard to believe that this place is so hyped up by everyone on socials. Very big let down, it is not the sister atmosphere that I was expecting. Firstly I sat at the "full service" bar and the rude bar back was the only person telling me "IM NOT YOUR SERVER" whatever they took forever to take my order and bring my drinks. (The soft serve margarita is also milk based? not sorbet like the way it's being advertised also a disappointment) When it came down to food, I ordered a Meze plate that had very hard pieces of focaccia, almost inedible, they also forgot to add my salami (+$4 add on) I also ordered an entire specialty pizza of the week which they seemed to have added random ingredients? Was supposed to have prosciutto, mozzarella, arugula and fig.... missing the prosciutto, fig AND they added goat cheese? Not sure what they have going on but I will not be returning. My total was around $80 for two with drinks and I can confidently say there are better places in Tucson. I'm very disappointed in sisters. Everything was terrible... service, food, the place was aesthetically pleasing? If that counts for anything margaritas are good for pics at best. If you're an older caucasian couple maybe you'll get treated better but AZ locals steer clear. read more

So if you order at the bar for a slice the service is friendly and prompt however waiting for a slice to be served was quite long considering it was only slightly busy. The pizza crust was flavorful but there were two pepperoni on it. Very disappointing. It tasted alright but nothing to be super excited about I'm sorry to say. The atmosphere is very nice and great for groups especially the outdoor seating. I hope they improve and get the kinks worked out this place has lots of potential. read more

This is a brand-new restaurant, so I am sure they are still ironing out some kinks. I sat at the bar and ordered ice cream, so I can't speak to what it's like to order something cooked from the menu or to sit at the tables. However, the bartenders were very friendly and attentive, and were able to answer questions since the menu is new. The ice cream with olive oil and sea salt was delicious, and considering it's winter and cold outside that's saying something! I know it does get crowded during peak times, particularly before and after a show. So do keep that in mind when heading there. I'm definitely interested in trying more on the menu and will probably just make sure I'm not in a hurry the next time I visit. read more

Went to Sisters on a Monday night with friends. Friendly staff who clearly care about the customer experience and aren't just there to collect a check. We ordered a pizza, salad, mezza plate, and soft serve for dessert. The pizza had a flavorful crust and the veggies were very fresh. Honestly, that was my favorite part..really high quality ingredients and one of the best pizza sauces I've had in Tucson. Portions were big and very shareable. Also, whoever came up with the soft serve idea: kudos. Nothing like ending the night with a big swirl of ice cream. I'm genuinely excited for this restaurant and for La Rosa (music venue attached). This combo feels like a big dream come true for Tucson and I expect many slices and shows in my future. read more
