We decided to come here on a whim and are so glad we did. It's a cute space right next to the new event venue. We got the Fun Guy pizza and it was amazing. We love mushrooms so it was an easy choice except that our only hesitation was that it had truffle. While we love the concept of truffle as a mushroom, it's always overwhelming. However, not the case for the Fun Guy! This is how you do truffle to add a little subtle flavor without overpowering everything else. Seriously top notch. I visited with a group of five and ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza, fries, and a margarita. The pizza was a good size for the price, but the flavor was pretty basic. The ranch was definitely the highlight--it was delicious and easily the best part of the meal. Unfortunately, the fries tasted old and not very fresh. The margarita was also disappointing, as it tasted like it was made with a powdered margarita mix rather than fresh ingredients. The service was a mixed experience. The staff was generally nice and friendly, but several items were forgotten throughout our meal and we had to ask multiple times for things. When our table asked about splitting the check, the waitress seemed a little annoyed by the request, which made the interaction feel less welcoming. Overall, the restaurant has some positives, but the food quality and consistency of service left room for improvement. I plan on visiting again and will update my review if necessary. read more

Soft serve margaritas? Count me in! I love anything in soft serve form and this creamy and sweet margarita really hit the sweet spot between boozy beverage and dessert. Sisters is a cute name, too, considering their location next to a church-turned-theater and all the nun paraphernalia made this a unique spot overall to grab a bite with friends. We started with the prosciutto and melon. This was absolutely delightful! Although I could have gone without the chimmichurri. We also got the fries which were decent but I don't love that they were served in a brown bag as well as the Caesar salad. The real star was the meat lovers pizza. Sisters is a vibe and I love that it's connected to La Rosa. I frequent La Rosa so I'm shocked I haven't tried Sisters sooner. I met up with a couple friends to watch the game and get some drinks. I got Ray Ray's Sonoran Tea and the Baked Lasagna since I was starving. The bread, salad and drinks were perfect but I wasn't crazy about the lasagna. I don't get the hype of the soft serve margarita. Not very margarita-y, not much lime flavor at all. Kind of an odd boozy soft serve. Also, kind of expensive for what it was too, for such a small serving. I'm not a fan of freeze dried fruit stuck in things. Attractive but not edible. A waste of fruit really. The place was pretty active and we could only find seats outside where it was still very hot, but lots of misters were helping. Being that it was outside, we had to order at a window, and it didn't take too long to get our order. I don't think I'd come back for the soft serve, but might try something else. read more

Really enjoyed the organization from all of the employees from our service, to the bartender who personally brought us our drinks, and the food runner who brought our meal, it was a well received. They were super busy nonetheless I got my large 4 cheese white pizza in less than 10 minutes which was super delicious. That perfect golden brown crust and the combination of cheeses with the fresh arugula on top was amazing. Plus my wife ordered the vegetarian lasagna and it was amazing. Stopped in for a bite before a candlelight concert nearby. We were seated promptly with a 7:45pm reservation near the bar. Louder atmosphere with TVs showing the World Cup but we didn't mind. We each ordered a cheese slice and shared the vodka rigatoni pasta with a Caesar salad. The focaccia, cheese, and vodka sauce were to die for! Took our granddaughter for her birthday. It was delicious! The lasagna, vodka rigatoni, the salad, everything! The highlight was the pina colada/ margarita soft serve which she ordered for her first "legal" drink. It was a drink, and dessert all in one. The Tajin on the rim was an excellent addition. The service was top notch, and the history of the building just added to the wonderful experience. It's a cute little place. We went to try the margarita soft serve ice cream! It was smaller than I thought it would be and tasty enough but not something I would get again. In fact, none of us did. I love the pizza by the slice options, and the dressing on the dressed greens is light and fresh. My husband loved the meatballs and lasagna, both of which were amazing. What a fun experience going to Sisters. I had biked by a few months back when it was a coffee bar near La Rosa music venue. Today my mind was blown at this transformation of the space. The space has a long bar that opens to an outdoor patio. During our early dinner of four cheese pizza and lasagna, I could see patrons on the patio order drinks from the patio at a counter. Sisters offers a hearty cocktail menu and I decided to get their soft serve margarita after I saw one served at the neighboring table. It's more like margarita ice cream, and I loved it! Our service was on par, the team service with all our needs being quickly met by various staff. I ordered the veggie lasagna and it was in a little crock, toasty and hot. I loved every bite. My husband ordered a pizza, and that day several specially flavors were sold out, including the fungi pizza. From this first experience can't wait to return to try the mushroom pizza! I had an Aperol Spritz mocktail for $10 which turned out to be orange juice and club size with an orange garnish. It was ok...not what I expected. My husband had a margarita and he said it was tart and tasty but nothing special. Didn't eat anything. When we arrived without a reservation they were very short with us and informed us that we would need to find a place at the bar which we did. Such an exciting new place on the Tucson scene! I found it through one of the Yelp reviews on my feed and immediately took my friends. They enjoyed their house margaritas while I tried their "Mandorla" cocktail. Refreshing yet refined. I also tried their "Second Thought" espresso martini made with their neighbor's Yellow Brick Coffee. Another success. We sat at the bar by the kitchen and couldn't help but smell whatever amazing dish they were cooking up back there. I decided to try their weekly special slice "Hot Honey + Spanish Chorizo". PHENOMENAL. This place was such a good find and I hope many more people find it and it stays a staple for years to come. Such a cool spot connected to La Rosa! It has a similar concept to R Bar & The Rialto. I like that we can order food and drinks from here then walk over to La Rosa for a show. The vibe is cozy and low lit and I like that their menu price point is very affordable and that the quality is nice. I enjoyed a meaty pizza slice, I loved the bread. The Golden Hour drink was decent. I like that you can take your drinks in a plastic cup over to the venue. I ate dinner here with four friends recently. The place was packed. Service was slow--so slow that they comped us the whole meal except for the beer. They said it was only their sixth day in business. I ordered a meatball hoagie sandwich ($16), which came with a side salad. It was pretty good aside from being lukewarm and taking an hour to arrive. Otherwise not too different from the meatball hoagies at eegee's or Mama's Famous. My friend who ordered a slice of veggie pizza wasn't too impressed with it. Sisters is BOMB. I don't say that lightly. I've been here many times now, and it's consistently incredible. The soft serve is out of this world. The pizza is amazing. And the lasagna is hands down the best I've ever eaten. The ambiance is also such a vibe. The interior is so Tucson and so cute, with this perfect mix that somehow feels like stepping into a Tucson-meets-Italian paradise. On one visit, we had the mezze plate to start. Everything was super fresh and packed with flavor. My girlfriend is vegan, and they were great about accommodating, adding vegan cheese alongside the goat cheese without hesitation. We also shared a big salad and the Veggie Supreme pizza with vegan cheese on half, and just like everything else here, it was next-level fresh and delicious. I'm picky about pizza crust and usually skip it, but not here. I ate every single bite. Every dish I've had at Sisters has been consistently out-of-this-world. 10/10.
