They're tucked away way up in the south hills at 40th and Donald, so not right in the center of things, but worth a special occasion drive or definitely a stop if you're in south Eugene. If you want the best selection you should get here early. By noon or so they were pretty low stock, but I got a couple asiago bagels for us. I also picked up some cream cheese; it was bacon and something--green onion? chive?--and I wasn't sure how it would be but was pleasantly surprised; it was pretty good. Service was fast and friendly. I believe there's a cash discount offered, if you choose to pay that way. There are a few tables in the place and it's not very fancy, really bare bones, but it's a good place for coffee and breakfast. I'd love to try one of their breakfast sandwiches sometime. I don't know why, but a good bagel sandwich makes me happy in the morning! As it is, I'll be happy to try jalapeño cheddar bagel sometime soon.

It's far from the best bagel or sandwich I've ever had but it hit the spot on a busy morning. My order was correct, hot, and came out quickly. The egg wasn't fresh, it was that kind of fluffy fake feeling egg that McDonald's has, but it was fine. The people working here were all friendly and nice. I didn't have any issues with attitude or anything lol other people complain about. I went around 9am on a Sunday and it was busy, but everyone was fine. Maybe the people leaving bad reviews are the problem The restaurant was fairly clean but could have been cleaner. There was plenty of seating and parking. She said she can do it as a decaf latte instead and I agreed. It is SO good! It's sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. You can taste banana and cinnamon, perfectly balanced. I was worried the banana flavor would be fake tasting but it's not, it tastes like real bananas. I also got the Sasquatch sushi because I had to know what it was and it was amazing. It's a pbj with banana, in sushi form! It's such a cool idea and tasted fantastic. My partner was also super entertained by it and he loved it too. The gentleman working the counter greeted me immediately and grabbed the donuts for me. He was very sweet and diligent. I got two glazed, two Bavarian crème, two chocolate glazed, two sugar cakes, a cinnamon sugar cake, a powdered sugar cake, a cinnamon twist, and a chocolate bar. We've only had a couple so far and they've been delicious. The cake donuts are amazing - great flavor, perfectly balanced, fluffy texture. Not oily at all like store-bought cake donuts tend to be. The non-cake donuts are amazing too. We haven't had a single bite that wasn't delicious. I paid $21.25 for a dozen donuts. They only take cash so make sure you have some with you when you go. The prices vary depending on what you get. It may seem pricey but it's definitely worth it to support a local business run by sweet people who make delicious treats. I will definitely be back!
