The only good thing I can say is that I don't have to wait too terribly long to talk to someone. the bad part is that the people I talk to are incredibly unhelpful. I just moved into a complex that is contracted with SD, and my experience in the first week is extremely negative. AVOID. The highest wireless speed I can get is 6 Mbps, not 250. the wired connections don't even work, but I doubt they would even be near the speed advertised (a little under 1GB). My apartment complex uses Single Digits and it is the worst internet I have ever experienced in my life. I constantly have to call for outage issues and each time I am on hold for 20+ minutes without an answer from a single representative. Our building has an outage at least once a month and I am shocked that they still continue to use them. The internet is included with my rent price so I don't know how much they are paying to have this service in the building but it sucks to say the least. My advice, stick with one of the 4 major internet carriers and spend a bit more money to actually have quality service and a good customer support. read more

Edit: The response on this review might lead you to believe my issue was addressed. That is certainly not the case. I have called 5 times so far after leaving this review. Each time the support person did the same troubleshooting steps and told me that they would schedule a technician visit. Every time I tell them that I already did the troubleshooting steps, but they tell me that they need to do them again and that there is no technician visit scheduled. Had an issue with my wifi so I made a service request. For a week I kept calling about my case and hearing only that the issue had been "escalated" and that they would "call me back". My building is forcing tenants to use single-digits as their internet provider. The autogenerated network keys are garbage as the consist of two English words combined. They refuse to change the parameters of the generator or create a difficult password manually. There resident portal generated exponentially harder passwords for itself than for the network keys. They leave their uses exposed to hacking while claiming that their system is secure. Even my antivirus Software confirms what I already know. I dont use their service even though they are stealing the fee from me on a monthly basis for this "forced fun" service. If you are moving to a location that mandates it, look elsewhere. read more

We are supposed to get internet and local TV from them. Our internet drops often and we have never had any local channels. I have reached out to them about the TV issue and they told me to un plug and plug in the cable. Like I didn't try that? They then asked for availability for when they could have someone else call me, I gave them certain days and they called on the days that I had no given them as being available! Finally they said they needed to have someone in person, but no weekend days are available because they dont have anyone working then. Since our senior living community switched to single digets my service has gone from bad to worse. I kept losing service, then channels, The picture pixilates terribly. They attached a Wally to the tv and I don't lose channels as much but no longer have internet on tv and must switch to my tv remote for that. Internet is slow. The only music I have is from dish stations. Internet freezes when loading pages making it impossible to read news or play games. I spend most of my time waiting for the page to load so I can use my mouse. Most of the time I have to turn the computer off and reboot to clear it. If I could I'd quit it. It is far worse now than the service we left. Dish or directv doesn't matter both are just as bad. read more

This is with a wired connection and the maximum download speed I have achieved was 10 mbps and it averages around 3. Internet goes out 3-4 times a week. Don't even think about playing games, the average packet loss is 20%. 1080p videos stutter. Livestreams must be played at 360p. I have made numerous tickets and had multiple techs come to my apartment where I have been having issues with the internet speed since August. It is now December and they still have not any fixes. SingleDigits keeps telling me that the "senior engineers" are working on my ticket, but they have been working on it for MONTHS!! They really live up to their name - single digits. I lived for my fall semester with internet so terrible, I had to frontload my day with all the important work / gaming I wanted to do because I knew once it hit 5pm my download speed would be anywhere from 1-3Mbps. The problem? I'm a student. I have an actual job. I'm not usually home until after 5pm. Single Digits ran a number of tests on my devices, and I outright started refusing to do them anymore. It isn't just my device, it is all of my devices and all of my roommates' devices. In fact, out apartment office was aware of complaints - it was everyone. They told me for months it was being 'upgraded' and would be fixed by spring semester. I return and guess what..? It took 45 minutes to install SteamVR, the desktop Oculus App, and Skyrim VR. Total we are talking about ~16-17GB of data. In no world should that all take more than 20 minutes. That's it. I'll give it this first week back to classes once everyone comes back to their apartments. If it's still garbage, I'm refusing paying for my internet. I'd get better quality sitting in the McDonalds parking lot every day until I go to bed. read more

I've lived in various apartment complexes with other Internet providers. This is, without a doubt, the worst wifi service I've ever experienced. For the first 6 months I could never get on the Internet with my login and called at least once a week and was told it should be fine. it took 6 months for someone to fix my account because when they set it up I guess something got misspelled. Even now that it's fixed the wifi is awful for everyone I've ever talked to that lives here. It just keeps getting worse and once summer started, the wifi started cutting off at the same time nightly even though half the complex is gone for summer. This "ISP" is continuously down, slow, and terrible. I've had issues since september and they have been TEMPORARILY fixed for brief periods of time, like a week at best. My download speed is fine, 90ish Mbps, but my UPLOAD speed is down to 1 kilobit per second. If you didn't already know, your computer has to SEND or UPLOAD data to websites, games, and all that fun stuff. So not only is my connection "fine" for downloads I cannot open Amazon.com without trying 10 times because they servers that I'm trying to connect to cannot get all my data fast enough and time me out. It's not ATT, the ONLY option for internet in this apartment complex, it's their fault for making this service literally the worst. The moment I can switch ISPs I am doing so. The worst internet company I've ever had the displeasure of using. The internet lags constantly, as in, 2 times per minute (wish I was exaggerating), and YouTube or Netflix disconnects daily. Wi-Fi disconnects itself from my phone, and when I stated this to a customer service rep, she lied about checking speeds and fixing the issue.
