It turns out many basic or default settings are incompatible with their service, but once you change them you can connect no problem. After this fix my internet speeds are blazing fast and I have had no more issues. So I suppose the customer service and setup for this company definitely need some work, but the actual service seems solid once you are properly set up. After our apartment complex "upgraded" to Single Digits we might as well have no internet anymore. I cannot watch a single movie on Netflix without the WiFi crashing and kicking me out, I can barely search a web page on the internet, and my iPhone constantly has the network settings broken so it can no longer connect to my WiFi. Customer service is a joke; they say they're "escalating" your concerns just to get you off the phone. After that, they spam you with texts insisting that you acknowledge the problem has been solved without doing anything whatsoever to actually help you. I am a computational chemist, so if you think going without internet is acceptable for me then you're delusional. If I could personally destroy this company and ensure that nobody ever dealt with them again, I would gladly do so.

I stopped the process of the new phone but they couldn't figure out how to revert me BACK to the monthly payoff. More than once they claimed it was rectified only to find out they lied. They have ZERO clue what they are doing. Even the Xfinity branded store people are clueless. All they know is how to sell more . Even worse, I couldn't understand many of them. I agree with the previous review that more staff would be helpful but there is a balance between plenty of help during busy times and too much during slow times. It's probably best to call the store and ask when the slow times are to try to avoid this. The wait to be helped was my only gripe. I was just picking up a phone on my employer's account and Justin was very helpful in getting me all set up. He seemed interested in making sure I got the right accessories and didn't try to push anything I told him I had no need for. My experience was a good example of how the help you get can overcome some small issues. I haven't worked with anyone else at the store but asking for Justin will be a safe move.

No solutions were offered, no explanation beyond "store policy," and no effort was made to assist. When I asked reasonable questions and requested contact information for a higher-level manager, that was refused as well. The situation escalated unnecessarily when I was told the police would be called simply because I wanted help as a customer. That was surprising and disappointing. Ironically, while I was being turned away, other customers were being assisted with phone sales. The message was pretty clear: if you're not buying a device, don't expect service.
