Where can I start, a few weeks ago we lost power at our 5 unit private condo association on a…read moreSaturday.....of course. After a visit from a local electrician, we determined it was some bad fuses in our very old main breaker outside. To no fault of the first guy, he could not get the parts until Monday because no electric supply shop was open. That's when I made the best decision to call Gagnon Electric. After giving him the fuse information that we needed provided by the first electrician, Bill senior was able to call a supplier to open to get us the parts we needed and able to come right over to put them in and get us up. I wish could say that was the end of the story but sadly, due to the age of our electric stack it was not. While there, Bill stressed the poor shape of our whole stack using phrases like "borrowed time" and "real bad shape of it were to go completely". He did this with a friendly disposition all while stressing the urgency of the situation and I felt no pressure from him at all. I thought we'd have some time to weigh our options but I received a call from bill a couple days later reiterating his obvious valid concern of the state of our electric panel. We don't have a lot of money in our association and he very reasonably offered payment options for us. Ultimately I could have gone and looked at other quotes and options, but given his years of experience and straight shooting, and my basic understanding of the technical aspect, we decided to go with Gagnon for the work. From there bill went to bat for us with the electric company as they were trying to have us take on an unreasonable amount of additional work that we could not afford due to their "change in standards and requirements". After a couple weeks of seemingly insufferable back and forth with the electric company (and a few threats of going to the PCU), Bill was able to get them to cooperate and agree to a reasonable solution. From there it was scheduling a date which occurred as planned with no delay and a timeframe of when we'd be out of power for on that day which also couldn't have been more spot on. Although the work was extremely difficult and challenging (even the electric inspector asked him why he took on something so difficult) bill was able to complete this making it seem like just another day in the office. I can not express how highly I recommend Gagnon electric and I will use them again and continue to recommend them from here on out.

Listen to this true story: I had the absolute worst experience, first phone call I called them with full confidence if they could help make an estimate to install my Tesla Y. He hurriedly says to me on the phone when I ask if he's sure he can make it: "Listen maam, if I SAY I'm gonna be there, I'm gonna be there! That's my WORD." Hangs up. On the day of the appointment, he is supposed to arrive between 10-1 that time I took off from work for the appointment. Not only does he never show up, when I call at about 2pm asking what happened, he make some fake excuse IN HIS VOICE that "this isn't bill, he isn't here right now and can't make the appointment because something came up suddenly", then when I ask to reschedule or why they didn't tell me in advance, they YELL "we can't come today! go to another person! " and HANG UP, noted again on me. Without rescheduling or anything, so I think that's that and I book with someone else and forget them. Then in the morning TWO DAYS AFTER their missed appointment and getting hung up on when following up, they randomly call and leave a message at 8am saying "We will be there in about 15 minutes" WHAT??!?!?! My appointment was TWO DAYS AGO and they just decided to schedule me in whenever they felt like it without telling me, or even knowing if I was available or interested still. Mind you, this is MULTIPLE DAYS CALLED OFF OF WORK TO WAIT FOR THEM. Thousands of dollars stolen by these days. No regard whatsoever to other people's schedules and lives and literally assume they can CHANGE THE TIME of the appointment to whatever THEY PLEASE without even CONFIRMING with the customer. Then when I called them that morning, they IMMEDIATELY started talking over me while I started speaking my issue, and CUT ME OFF MULTIPLE TIMES and when I asked why can you listen to your customer speak they literally said "Fine we're waiting for you hurry up" when I was voicing my complaint ABOUT BEING TWO DAYS LATE WITHOUT EVEN NOTIFYING ME OR RESCHEDULING. Not only did these guys cost me my days off time of thousands of dollars, they lied multiple times on the phone, made multiple calls to the WRONG CUSTOMER, mixed up peoples appointments, then didn't even apologize and HUNG UP multiple times when I confronted them about it. There is no slander here but THE TRUTH, the business is foul and the bill gagnon guy is WAYYYY TOO OLD to be working in business or electric. He FORGOT my appointment I called out of work for, didn't reschedule, then had the nerve to randomly show up mornings after without confirming anything or even seeing if I have availability. RUDE, DISREGARD FOR CUSTOMERS IF ITS A FREE ESTIMATE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR TIME AND THINK THEY CAN ARRIVE WHENEVER THEY PLEASE WITHOUT CHECKING THE CUSTOMERS SCHEDULE AND CONFIRMING, AND TREAT REAL SUPPORTIVE TESLA CUSTOMERS LIKE CRAP. Even after all that; no responsibility, no accountability, constant lies and excuses to make up for their failures. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND WANT GOOD WORK.
