Real shawarma should at minimum use pita bread if not saaj bread. Second, the garlic spread was more yogurt than garlic and was curdling from the heat of the grill. The chicken was overpowered by lemon zest flavor. There were no pickles in the sandwich. In terms of service, we were not greeted even though we were the only people who entered the restaurant. We assumed the employee was having a bad day, so I won't be criticizing it more than that. The restaurant itself is clean and can seat many large groups. Overall, if you're looking for another chicken sandwich shop claiming to sell award-winning shawarma, this is one of those joints. I'm just sad that they call this place sincerely Syria when it sincerely isn't.

I enjoyed the pita bread that it came with. And of course, the main star of the show was the beef shawarma roll. That was well balanced between beef, veggies, and bread. The beef itself was seasoned well and I really enjoyed the parsley/onion in it. The pickled turnips on the side were fantastic!
