They took the time to help me find exactly what I needed, answered my questions, and did it all with positive attitudes and professionalism. It's rare to see a team maintain that level of stellar customer service at the end of a long week, but they absolutely did. They annoyingly call our golf shop, trying to sell products, offering to send samples to unknowing random employees who answer the phone, and then they shipped over $500 in product to our golf shop. A bill arrived a few days later. Some companies might just go ahead and pay for something they didn't order, but I called to ask for an authorization and shipping label to send it back. They told me we ordered it, and I would have to pay to ship it back to them. I paid $88 to send it back UPS to keep from having to pay the over $600 invoice. I have since instructed my employees to hang up on Golden West when they call.

The selection is very limited in this store. The store is small in comparison to other sports stores, but packed to the gills in the limited space! For women, I think the store is even more limited in variety. The other disappointing thing at this store is the lack of contact with employees: I wasn't even greeted at the store when entered by the cashiers. Lastly I think the brand quality is poor, for women the shoe selection seems to consist of the cheaper shoes of a given brand. With that said, I appreciate having a sport store in town to get the basics for my sports needs.

Knowing that rain was in the forecast, I called multiple times ahead of my tee time to ask about their cancellation policy. Each time, I was told I would be fine as long as I canceled within 24 hours. As the date got closer and the forecast showed a near 100% chance of rain, I decided to cancel 48 hours in advance just to be safe. When I called, the staff member simply confirmed the cancellation without mentioning anything else. Later, I realized I had been charged an $80 fee tied to the advanced booking. I called back to resolve the issue, and while Chris at the front desk was helpful and understanding, he explained there was nothing he could do. He did mention that if I had waited and canceled the day of due to the rain, I would have received a full refund. That was extremely frustrating to hear, especially since I had gone out of my way to call ahead multiple times and follow the guidance I was given. This situation could have easily been avoided if the staff member who processed my cancellation had simply informed me to wait until the day of. Instead, I was left paying $80 unnecessarily. I really like this course, but this experience felt unfair and poorly handled. Clear and accurate communication from staff would have made all the difference.
