They came out to do a review of our house to give us an accurate estimate. The driver reached out 2 days in advance to give us his time for arrival. From the moment the driver and team showed up at our door, they were professional, kind, and on top of every detail. We watched them take great care of our items, pack it better than we ever could have, and treat us with such respect. Upon delivery several states away, we received the exact same treatment! Communication was clear, the driver was on time, and our items were delivered in perfect condition. We will be recommending Boerman to anyone we know with a move in the future! They made our big move so much better and stress free!

Trevor and Melina worked together to finalize the quote, move date and specifics. My moving team (driver Nate and movers Jonathan, Daniel, Ray, Edgar and Conner) were so careful with my things. This was particularly helpful because they knew just where my things went. If you're planning a move, I highly recommend the Boerman team!

We went with Boyer-Rosene because they offered a storage option (which turns out we didn't need anyway). Anna took over, coordinating everything for us, keeping us updated as to dates and times. The movers showed up on time, and did a fantastic job considering that we were still packing (26 years since our last move). Our stuff was delivered to our new home in Las Vegas earlier than we had guessed it would be, which was great. Again, the movers on this end were professional and got the job done. I would recommend them to anyone doing a cross country move.

I want to thank Shannon, manager at Public Storage in Bolingbrook. I was going thru a terrible move…read moreexperience with a mover that tried shaking me down for $3k additional cash money out of nowhere, after hours on a Saturday. After an experience that would remind you of an episode of Cops, I realized I'd need some quick storage solution to close on my house. Enter Shannon and Public Storage. She helped me determine my space needs, got me a special code to help get my storage unit filled after hours with a local new mover, and was there every step of the way. Additionally we were moving out of town and needed to get a big move 1000 miles away. Shannon came up with a solution that ensured access by my new movers 21 days later, while I "supervised" from a 1000 miles away. Its so cool, when you're between a rock and a hard place, and someone took the time to be part of the solution and make one thing less stressful to their customer. Not sure I'll ever need Public Storage's assistance again, but they have my recommendation for hiring a pro like Shannon. THANK YOU!

She updated my card for the other facility and I asked her if my account is there was ok . Was told yes. I asked to make sure they were on auto pay. Was told yes. I even got an email for this month payment was received. I didn't think about it. Then I get a phone call that my bill is passed due. Well it was not on auto pay. I call the next day and spoke with the manager and explained everything to her and was I didn't ask for auto pay and that sometimes the system will take the auto pay off. I should check the app. I have an older phone and sometimes the app doesn't work. I then asked for corp phone number. I called corporate and spoke to a woman and told her everything. She unstood and put through my payment. She did not put the late charge through because I was not going to pay for it. I did everything I could to take care of everything by going into the facility. She also told me it would take 48 to 72 hours for someone to get back to me. Well guess what they put the late charge through without even talking to me and see what could be done. I did not approve for them to go to my bank account and put through the charge. I can see this is going to be a issue.

My 1st visit was really good as Maria showed me around and explained how the units worked. Upon hearing that I would need my storage unit for a couple more weeks Maria extended my reservation to keep my rate and that really helped. On move in day I was given a phone call the day before, to check to make sure what time I was going to arrive. I was able to reschedule my time when I realised that the time slot didn't work any longer. The office staff were very flexible with helping me out. I was able to complete the whole moving process in less than 30 minutes. Overall I am happy with my unit I end up getting a 10 by 7 and a 1/2. I do like the ease of unloading my S UV into their docking station. I appreciate the climate control as it can get really hot during the summer and I was worried about my electronics. This was the true reason I picked this location even though about $50 more per month than the location about 2 miles away. All in all super excited about the fringe benefits of this location, To include utilization of a moving truck. The nice thing is that they allow you to use the moving truck up to 2 weeks from your moving date. This alone is going to save me a $150.

I was paying $80 a month and now it's up to $246 for an 8x8 unit! New customers pay $95 but those that have been loyal pay WAY more. 1 Star -- Loyalty Apparently Comes With a Penalty…read more I am absolutely disgusted by the way Safeguard Self Storage treats long-term customers. I started renting my unit in September 2020 for $110 per month. Nearly six years later, after NEVER missing or being late on a payment, I received a letter casually informing me that my monthly charge is increasing to $657. Let that sink in. $657 a month for the SAME unit, on the SAME floor, with ZERO improvements, ZERO upgrades, and absolutely nothing different to justify this outrageous increase. Then comes the real slap in the face. This letter talks about how rent increases are only made "when absolutely necessary" and after "serious consideration" of customers facing economic hardship. Yet when I went online to price the EXACT SAME UNIT, I was quoted an introductory rate of $150 and a standard rate of only $319 after the promotion. So new customers pay $319... while loyal customers with perfect payment history are expected to pay $657? That's a $388 difference for literally the same space. This isn't "customer appreciation." It isn't "serious consideration." It feels like exploiting loyal renters because you assume moving out is too inconvenient. And the cherry on top? The letter warns about late fees and thanks me for my "continued patronage" -- as if I should feel grateful for being charged more than DOUBLE the advertised standard rate after years of on-time payments. Businesses love to talk about loyalty until it affects their profits. If you rent here, watch your rates closely. Apparently staying loyal just makes you a target for endless increases.

Therefore the many positive reviews are likely before the client experienced full service. Unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one. From April to May, the main security gate remained open and broken. Repeatedly driving by and seeing the gate open for anyone to access became increasingly frustrating. I understand we're paying for storage but the purpose of a secured facility is completely undermined if the gate is not maintained or repaired in a timely manner. What finalized my decision to move out of my unit was the extreme disappointment I felt from the lack of urgency in addressing the issue. After doing a bit of research, I can assume why there was no rush. Based on the company policies/terms it seems the condition of the gate does not create a significant liability for CubeSmart. Therefore, if an event does occur, the customers lose, not the company. From this experience, I discovered this company does not prioritize customer concerns when serious issues arise. After moving out due to the circumstances mentioned, I overpaid for three weeks and requested a $75 refund. They denied without hesitation. The only compensation offered during this whole month-long debacle was a $10 credit that could not be applied to my final payment. I called to discuss this and never received a return call. I lost even more money moving units to StorageMart, but I would do it again to avoid this Cubesmart and all others. They clearly do not believe in making an unfortunate situation better for their customers. Fun fact: According to public figures, Cubesmart made $333.8 million dollars in profit last year. They can surely afford to refund their customers when wrongdoing has occured.
