I've been a loyal customer at Simply Nails for over 4 years. Kim, who does my pedicures, is excellent and always provides outstanding service. The salon is convenient, and I've always tipped well for good service. However, my recent visits have been disappointing. Chrome nails I got on April 2nd started falling off within days. When I returned on April 7th (after a personal emergency), they charged me $12 for a repair--despite paying $80 just days earlier. The technician didn't clean or finish my nails properly either. Plus, the Gold Stripes aren't the same!!! Sadly, they've lost a regular customer over a few dollars. I won't be going back. read more

This place sucks. They were absolutely disrespectful to me and my family during the holidays. They also refused me service after telling me at the beginning they will be able to do it then said "i'm not sure I'll be able to do it to your satisfaction" . We got there at 4:30 left at seven and only got 1/3 nails done.The staff was also staring at us, making comments in their language and laughing!!! So disappointing and racist. Just moved into the area and needed a new nail salon. I'm always skeptical about going to new places especially nail salons. I have gotten hurt and cut so many times from other nail salons. I have some health conditions that need tending to when going to a nail salon and I need my nail techs to be on point with my nails not to hurt or cut me. Simply Nails cares about me and my health. This location is great! It has a lot of room and chairs. Every time I have came here they always had room for me without an appointment but appointments are recommended just for common courtesy for the nail techs. Every worker here is very sweet and kind. They always offer drinks and ask if your comfortable the entire time you are there. They also talk to you about your experience and your day. They really get to know you as a person and not just another customer. I don't recommend just one main tech as All the nails techs do a great job when doing my nails! Each one pays close attention to detail and they take my medical attention to heart by not hurting me or cutting me. This is huge as I have had to leave a lot of nail salons for the nail tech being to rough or cutting me. Not here they are great! Their selection of nail colors, dips and powders is awesome as well! It's so hard for me to choose as there are so many different options! Also, the prices are on point! I could not believe how inexpensive it was compared to other salons I have went to and the quality I received for the price was amazing. This was great cause it allowed me to show my nail techs more love in the form of a tip with the great prices they offer. My nails and toes always look great when I leave here and they last for weeks! I'm glad that I found them as they really do a fantastic job. My mom also started to go here as well because of how well they did nails. My mom will not go anywhere else now she loves them too! Like I said all the nail techs are great and I know that no matter who does my nails I will get taken care of professionally and properly. She gave an amazing foot massage that was relaxing. They are super friendly staff. I love happy people. Some times I get my pedicures by Ivonne and she is great too. They offer me a complimentary cold beverage, it is all good. They do take a bit longer than some places but frankly they are super thorough and aren't afraid to spend time cleaning your nails, massage and smoothing your skin. I do enjoy it. I had a good experience here, every time. I highly recommend this place. I will be back again and again! read more

Late re post of my review, had to reword it because it was apparently too vivid. Soooo..... When I was new to the area and looking for a new nail spot, I went in for a pedi day with my sister. They used the same callous scraper on both of us without sanitizing it... Not sure how many people it was used on before. The tools were not wrapped. They also started scrubbing the tub with a moldy sponge while we were still sitting there with our feet over it. Then some woman started yelling about leaving if she didn't get service immediately so the lady doing my pedicure just kind of stopped and went to her. Way to reward a grown woman for having a tantrum The icing on the cake was the horrible rash that broke out on my legs a few hours later. So gross. Keep your disgusting and crappy service. Guy from NY did then he was new but after two hours an they were lumpy bumpy just a mess the owner never offered to redo or not charge she just fussed at the guy for 20 min about what I gather was how bad a job he was doing. I drove 30 min out of Houston to get a mani pedi with a friend. Usually I just stick with a pedicure because I feel that getting a manicure that lasts 2-3 days and for no special occasion is a waste of money due to chipping. (Yes, I know I can go the shellac route, but I don't like soaking my fingers in acetone to remove the polish.). Anyhoo, since my friend was getting a full set and a pedicure, I figured I'll get the super deluxe pedi and a manicure so I wouldn't have to wait around for my buddy to finish. The pedi was marvelous and felt like heaven, however I am writing this review to comment on the manicure. It has been 7 days and my nails look like I got them done yesterday!! I just finished doing the dishes (my husband was so kind to do the for me this week since he liked my nails and didn't want to see them ruined) and I haven't a single chip!!! I am so extremely satisfied with the work of the salon that I will continue to drive 30 minutes past all of the nail salons along my route from my home in order to get another mani at Simpley Nails & Spa!...and a another deluxe pedi! read more

Amazing service, very friendly. I always have a hard time finding a good nail salon that actually cuts my cuticles and goes the extra mile for everything to look good. The gentlemen helping me did a beautiful job. It usually hurts for me to get a pedi but he was very gentle and understanding. They will accommodate your every need. One of the lady's getting her nails done made a joke about getting a margarita when they were asking everyone if they wanted a beverage, they actually made her a fresh glass of mimosa. Hands down the best pedicure I've ever gotten done in my entire life. These women took their time and made sure you were a happy customer. At first I was a little iffy because I made an appointment for three people and when I walked in they seemed like they didn't reserve three chairs but we were seated right away with drinks. I am 6 months pregnant and I needed this pedicure. $20 bucks you just can't beat that! Kim did my toes and I will be enjoying her pedicure soon again!!! She's great! I recently went there last weekend with a group of girls. They were very quick to attend us so we didn't have to wait. However, that wasn't the issue I asked for a $30 pedicure at the end I got charged for the $35 pedicure. I did not like my message I currently have bruises on my feet because the lady that was messaging my feet was being way too rough. While I waited for the rest of the girls to finish up doing their mani pedi's I got my eyebrows waxed and I still had to pluck out hair myself when I got home. I'm upset with my experience and the fact that I got charged something I didn't ask for. It's only $5 extra but as a paying customer I'd like to have a good experience this wasn't the case. read more

I have been to this place before for a waxing- and that service was average, but I recently went in to get my nails done (acrylic) and it was the worst experience! I could tell that the lady doing my nails didn't care and was just going with the motions, she cut my cuticles a couple of times (causing them to bleed), got the clue on my fingers (which hurt- as she attempted to separate my nail from my skin), put so many layers of polish on- it looked way too thick, and didn't even fully polish parts of my nails (on the sides). Eric is the only person I will go to to do my nails. I always get solar with Shellac on top. I usually stick to a basic dark color but recently I've tried more trendy looks. I have been getting the coffin shape but told Eric I don't want them too thin. He does exactly what I imagined. He is also very funny which makes the appointment more enjoyable. I don't have a particular person for pedicures but each person has done a fantastic job. I strongly suggest booking an appointment for Eric. He is always in high demand. read more

The ONLY reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because they are almost always too busy to take me. One time I even called, made an appointment, showed up for said appointment, waited 45 minutes, and finally left before being seen because I had someplace to be. Other times I've made appointments, and it's been okay. At one point, the spot next to them in the strip center was open, and I begged them to take the space and expand because of how busy they always are. LOL!!! HOWEVER: This place does THE BEST pedicures and solar nails in the entire Katy area. I've tried other places out of desperation because I can't get in here, and I'm always disappointed. I've paid far more in other salons and not gotten nearly the quality of work I get here. So I would definitely suggest you never try to just walk in.
