We probably would never have even thought to try this place out, had we not gone to the discovery museum with the kids. At the fake little diner that they have, there were menus that our kids wanted us to "order" from. When we looked at the back we saw the location, and my wife saw that they used organic and locally sourced food. We went and I ordered the Kickin' Short Rib Burger (minus the jalapenos) and substituted fries for roasted vegetables. This burger is easily one of the best I've ever had. I can't say enough good things about it. We even really enjoyed the roasted veggies and plan on getting them again when we go back. read more

Silver Diner - The incredible Kickin' Short Rib Burger - Diners Near Me - Cherry Hill, New Jersey

I was surprised but delighted to find they have so many great plant based options here (and more than just salad!) I had the lentils with brussel sprouts and tomatoes. It was a huge dish but I found it was so tasty that I finished the whole thing. The price is right too for as much as you get! This is a great place for the whole family where everyone can find something to love. read more

I went here on a rainy day in 1874 after a long journey on the Oregon Trail. Our server Matt hurried us through the doorway to get us away from the category 5 hurricane outside. Surprisingly, this location has a hex on it, meaning it is immune to hurricane damage. I wonder who hexed this sort of place. Is there a witch practicing black magic in the kitchen? Or could it be Ann Putnam? Or the brave Tituba!? Anyways, soon after we were inside, Matt was gracious enough to take us to our table and bring an Ouiji board. After he took our orders, me and husband, who I CANNOT name because if I do my family will be murdered...hehe derp...After he took our orders, we decided to summon multiple demons from another dimension. A portal opened up in the middle of the diner, and, to my surprise, Nokia Minaj walked out and started to sing her hit song, Good Form. For anyone who does not know how the song goes just imagine me singing these lyrics. "I tell him eat the cookie 'cause it's good for him And when he eat the cookie he got good form He know I don't ever cheat because I'm good to him Might gotta have his baby, nurses yellin' push for him" Since her power is too strong, everything around her was sucked up, almost like a black hole. No light could escape. Next thing I know I am in a pitch black world and I see a plate of waffles, with no butter. Anyways, the waffles and milkshake were really good! Yummy yum in my tummy tum. Will definitely come back! read more

Love the farm to table concept. Gluten free waffles were amazing!

Family & I just had dinner there, service was prompt, crab chowder was quite good, flounder was fresh, fried to a golden brown, sweet potato fries (awesome). All In all a pleasant experience, will definitely return. read more

Just had the Pesto Burger. Def 1 of the top 5 burgers I've ever had! Who would have thought. Awesome all-natural food. My kids loved their chicken and the juke box at the table. Def a family friendly environment. Way better than typical diner food. We will def be going back back. Worth the 35 min drive! read more

Reminds of Happy Days. It has that old school diner look and feel, however with both modern and authentic American cuisine. Excellent place to eat!!! read more

Really gross. Went for breakfast and was so dissatisfied. Not a diner in the traditional sense, sort of a mix between diner and TGI Fridays. Prices also high. My meal, country griddle, was eggs, sausage, potatoes, peppers and onions buried in a sausage gravy. Plate was supposed to come with biscuits but, at nine in the morning they were out of biscuits. I'll never come back. Oh, and the price was too high: $9 plus for tea. read more

Fresh local vegan, vegetarian and all American food. Service was exceptional! I am a repeat customer every time I travel to New Jersey! Come to California , please! read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants and I don't even live anywhere near it. They have such a great "flexitarian" menu that I am able to get some really wonderful gluten free variety. I go here every chance I get! read more

Diner meets gourmet organic, farm fresh eatery. Warm summer salad with salmon is amazing. If you want traditional diner fare and ambience you can also get it but you can also have amazing non-diner fare. Wait staff are mostly young adults who are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. read more

We had a large family gathering here for brunch . This place something for everyone, even vegan gluten free diets. Service is fantastic. We highly recommend this place read more

Such a great dinner!!! Staff and restaurant very entertaining and clean. The food was so delicious and well cooked!!! The only dinner I will go too now!! read more

My boyfriend and I came here on a whim and we weren't disappointed! The atmosphere was amazing and we enjoyed the older feel to it! We both like that the jukebox worked at the table and had a fun time messing with that! The food was really good and had an overall great time! Would go again! read more

They have very sweet staff and delicious food (amazing burgers and milkshakes). Gave us a coupon and was very attentive.

Stopped in today after a trip to the Aquarium. What a fresh and amazing surprise. Excellent selection of farm fresh veggie salads and unique brunch items. Wish it was closer to home. read more

Sitting here now . The food had to go back, it was cold. Overeasy eggs runny. Sausage like hockey pucks. Home fries soft & mushy. Belgium waffle were bland should have had vanilla in batter to give it some taste. Link sausage casings were hard. I don't even want to get coffee. They obviously need a new cook. read more

We stopped in here for a quick bite when visiting on of the local outlets. I was starving and forgot to take pics although I wish I had. This place is nothing like I remember years ago. Needless to say I was impressed!! For a diner I was excited that their menu was farm to table claiming to serve sustainable seafood! Yum! Food was delicious and from scratch and the presentation was nice and the amount of food plentiful. For an app we ordered French fries with cheese and chili sauce. It was good for French fries.. my date had a salad and I had a kicking crab soup that both came with our meals. Again good and fresh. I ordered scampi with mashed rather than pasta. It was yummy. My date ordered open face turkey. He said it was slightly salty but overall fresh and good. I ordered to drink a ginger ale with mango and mint infusion and it was so good! I want more!! I was too full to eat dessert but wished I had brought it home. Overall very happy with food quality considering diners now a days can be gross. The menu had an array of different items including vegan food & not very "diner like". The diner reminded me of a more diverse and better quality "Bob Evans". We will eat here over local diners again any day. read more

This is not your typical diner! The prices on the menu are a little higher than the average diner menu. The menu is very different compared to other diner menus. We had chicken pot pie and meatloaf. We were expecting the usual classic pot pie and meatloaf dish. It had herbs in it, which made it taste different. We won't be going back to this diner because we didn't find the food tasty. But the server was very kind. read more

Pleasantly surprised! Went in for breakfast this morning...thinking ok... another typical diner. I was wrong. This place is good! Kristoph was our server. From beginning to end. (Including the hostess) awesome customer service . The food is so FRESH! I'll be back. read more

I have no idea how they have this much good food is on one menu and how they manage for all hours. The staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond. We were greeted within seconds and seated within a minute. The food was great, it had a good selection for the kids menu. I ordered something healthy my friend ordered something not soo healthy! Perfect for everyone! We lost a toy camel in the seats... it was one of those special toys that you just can't lose. The staff was able to open up the seat and get it for us. I was super grateful. All around it gets 5 stars. read more

Stayed in Cherry Hill, NJ and were looking for a great breakfast spot. My significant other loves French toast and this place has some really good French toast options. He had a banana stuffed French toast with vanilla creme, caramel drizzle and mini chocolate chips. It was a flavor explosion, not too sweet-very satisfying. Also had a side of the nitrate fee bacon. Delicious. I had the avocado toast with two over easy eggs. The avocado toast was on sourdough toast. There was also micro greens and hemp hearts with a drizzle of olive oil. It was perfection! There are so many things on the menu I want to try! It's a classic diner atmosphere with juke boxes, but with farm to table products. We will absolutely return for another meal. read more

This diner was one of the worse diner experiences I have ever had!! I love to eat at diners esp. since New Jersey is known for them but I wish I had driven somewhere else even gone to applebees!! The restaurant was absolutely PACKED!! IT felt like the waitress didn't care about you they were all about getting you out as fast as possible. At most diners they'll talk to you and treat you extremely special. The food was disgusting. The chicken fingers(the most simple thing to make) were revolting with too much pepper. Now it is the end of the day and both people in my party are feeling sick from it! read more

This restaurant promises "service with a smile" and that's exactly what we got from our server Jamie - service with a smile. The food was very good, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. The only drawback - as we were about to leave they were changing shifts. There were about 12 to 15 new servers starting their shift and they all decided to congregate just inside the main entrance which made it very hard for people to enter or leave. You would think they could find a better place to stand. read more

Love this place. Not your typical diner. They have a lot of unique and healthy options too. The staff is also very friendly and nice.

Breakfast was great last time. Did a take out today with dessert. The grilled chicken entree was small and didn't include a salad. $7 for a tiny piece of cheesecake that was not spectacular? $24 total. Come on guys, its not Rittenhouse, its a diner. Don't belittle your customers. read more

Where do we start? This place has gone down hill fast! We have been customers here for years. We like the location and vibe. However today was the final straw we drive 25 minutes to come here and it will be last. We waited 10 minutes to be greeted, we never got water, our coffee mugs had stuff all over them. We finally got our order taken after about 30 minutes our server Matthew was an ass! He kept cracking jokes to make excuses for his poor service. This place has gone down fast WHAT HAPPENED???? The manager always visited with a smile, today we saw what we guessed to be 2 managers huddled at the counter laughing and joking and playing with a phone? Our food arrived with someone besides Matthew and everything was cold! We looked for anyone to return it a young black girl stopped by but did not take our plates back she did she would get Matthew 10 minutes later he walked up singing like nothing was urgent. We finally got second round of food 1.15 hour after we arrived! We will not be back 33.00 for cold breakfast, managers whom don't care, crazy servers! You got our last $$$ Silver Diner too many choices out there! WHAT HAPPENED??? read more

Not a typical diner. Food comes from local farms and you can taste the freshness. Food is so good and the breakfasts are amazing!! A little higher priced than a typical diner, but worth it. read more

Not your ordinary dinner food. Lots of healthy choices. Just stay away from the deserts.

The place looks great and has an awesome feel, but the food did not match the ambiance on the day we were there. Wanted to like it but not so much; will try again soon. read more

On the pricy side, but always has good food. Love the vibe of the whole restaurant. There are jukeboxes at every table and you can select a song to play. Good omelettes, big and can come with fruit, toast (of your choice), bagels and cream cheese, and home fries. There selection is good, plentiful, and healthy. read more

food was ok...nothing too amazing but that is what i expected before we went here. shake didnt come out as ordered but i made it work. won't complain because i schmashed it all :) read more

Surprising find on Thanksgiving when we needed breakfast on the way to visit family. The menu is largely locally sourced, full of healthy options, and they actually promote substitutions on everything. Everything is high quality (eg the bacon is nitrate free, the ketchup is organic, etc.) - not at all like a traditional diner. Excellent service, too. read more

So yummy!!! I was surprised by the quality of the food for the price. We had the chicken and waffles and the bison huevos rancheros and both were amazing!! The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. Fun atmosphere and family friendly. read more

I just want to say how great of a time I had at the Silver Diner. I am up visiting my family from puerto rico and wanted some real diner food. I was not disappointed. I got a SD club and a milkshake. I don't agree with all the reviews. I've been going to Silver Diner for many years. They change the menu to what's in season, making them very eco conscious. Also it's a diner people. Diners have always traditionally have wide meal selections. My favorite thing is that I'm gluten-free and it's been a safe option for me with many choices. More so than most restaurants! The staff always accommodates me! As a gluten-free diner, I rarely ever have a problem eating there! Other restaurants put me through the ringer and then mess up my order. Here I feel safe to eat! read more

Had breakfast here this morning with 3 friends. Two had French toast, one pancakes and one an omelette. The bill came to $74.00!! Food was ok, certainly not worth that price. I won't return. read more

I ordered thru Eat24 app. The food came late so it was cold, I ordered a milkshake that came melted, my order total was $61.00 but ended up paying $83 because delivery guy didn't have proper change. Ended up going out to eat after spending all that and I live 1.1 miles away from the restaurant so delivery was $7.99. Overall terrible! read more
