Just had the best gluten free meal here at the diner. Quinoa Coconut blueberry pancakes with fresh strawberries- they were excellent. This place is so much better than your typical diner with farm fresh healthy options and a great variety. Our server in Cherry Hill was friendly, competent and helpful thank you Ben!!!!! read more

I love this place. Lots of options. Its a little pricey but its not so much diner fare, it's diner nouvelle cuisine. Lately a few dishes have been a little heavy on the salt and spices. My husband's shrimp scampi was in truth a fra diavolo very very spicy hot. Coffee is local "Lacas" and very rich. read more

This place was a pleasant surprise! I am new the the area and we miss our diner regular diner and have been in search of a new one. We went in and I sort of panicked when I saw the chain looking menus, but was immediately comforted by the information they provided within about sourcing all their food and other ingredients from local farms. I ordered a bison burger which was SO GOOD. Very fresh and perfectly cooked and my boyfriend ordered the fish and chips. I guess the only complaint would be to switch the fish from flounder to something else because most of what he got was the fried coating. alltogether though it was very good. The food was great and quick and the service was very friendly. Going back this weekend! read more

Definately not your typical diner. Food was very fresh and good my son and I had the flat iron steak @17.99 which I think was very reasonable. It was a good size. Not huge but good size very thick and done exactly how we ordered it. It came with sautéed spinach which was good but I think someone dumped a bottle of chopped garlic on it. It was definitely way too much garlic and jarred garlic. And homemade mashed potatoes which were delicious. You had your choice of soup or salad or chili but our waiter never offered them to us so during dinner I reminded him and he brought is soup which was homemade chicken noodle soup which was steaming hot and delicious. My husband had the tomato and mozzarella sandwich which was excellent with French fries and cole slaw. The coleslaw was pretty bad. It was chopped cabbage no dressing of any kind on it. Couldn't quite figure it out. Over all the food was good. Service good I would go back. But I would t give it 5 stars. The steak was definitely first quality though. Tender and cooked perfect. Came with fried onion shreds. read more

Surprisingly, it has very good quality of cuisine! Menu even for vegans. Nice service! Bravo!

Best diner with non-diner quality food! The farm to table concept comes to life here with super affordable prices. The first thing I ever tried here was their black bean burger and it was absolutely delicious. Since lunch was so good it made us come back for brunch and now we're hooked. Their omlettes are fresh and delicious and the shakes are even better! Brunch, lunch, dinner.. This place has it all! Service is fantastic despite how busy they can get. read more

Second time here since they changed the menu. I used to hate the smell of grease when you walked in. Now, no greasy smell. The food is fresh and very, very good. We had breakfast at 10 pm and it was very yummy. Waiter was great. I just wish that all of their breakfast specials didn't come with meat. Glad we tried it again! read more

Nice diner experience! Menu is varied and service is good. We've come to this place a few times before and potions have been very generous and love the burgers. They have options for all tastes, including vegetarians and vegan. Still haven't tried the shakes, but they look yummy! read more

This is my come to spot for delicious and fresh quick eats. Usually when you think diner in New Jersey you would never see goat cheese bruschetta, deep fried brussel sprouts with dried cranberries and apricots, summer citrus salad with freshly made dressing with tasty fruit or even just simple hand made milkshakes. And for those who are vegetarian and vegan you will be so happy with their selections. There's an added bonus for you super healthy eaters out there they will cook your food with cooking spray if you don't want oil or butter and broil or bake mostly any dish, how nice! It's hard to find a great diner that has super fresh foods, great service, and old school juke boxes with kick ass 80's music :). Plus all the seats are mostly booths which is great. If your like me and hate just floating in the middle of a diner it will never happen here even on a crowded night. You will always get a booth because that's all they have. Give it try you won't be sorry. read more

Usually when I come here it's for lunch and dinner. Today I came for breakfast and was looking forward to the eggs benedict. Service was great, but I can't say the same for the food. The eggs benedict consisted of a fried egg, not poached. The English muffin wasn't toasted either. I think the morning kitchen staff could use some training on how to do this properly. Very disappointing meal but it's the first thing I have had here that I did not enjoy. read more

We went there once 8 years ago after moving to the area, I ordered a panini sandwich. It was so greasy and so bad, we didn't return again. Well until last weekend, when all the breakfast places we wanted to go all had long lines (ihop, Cracker Barrel), we were hungry and so we decided to give this diner another shot. We thought hey maybe the food had gotten better after 8 years?? We were wrong, the food is still bad, the breakfast combo were so greasy, orange juice out of those cheap store bought jar. Service was so awful, rude hostess, rude server. We will never ever ever come again. Fool me once shame on you, but we were stupid enough to think second time would be better..... read more

I loved this diner for many years. They have the best breakfasts. I recently had lunch there and was surprised at all the healthy and delicious selections. My favorite diner!!!!!! read more

Ordered Eggs Benedict with a crispy English Muffin. It came with a barely-toasted English Muffin and the eggs were FRIED!!!! They are supposed to be poached. First and last visit to this place. read more

The food is delicious, and I love the healthy approach on 'diner food'. The service is a little slow (it was empty when we were there, tons of employees and still slow) but the awesome food makes up for it. read more

You must must must try the wasabi teriyaki salmon sliders! AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS and packed with flavor. For $12.99 You get three sliders and citrus salad or substitute sweet potato fry's for .99 more. The slider features wasabi mayo, a slice of pickled ginger and buttery soft salmon. I highly recommend the sweet potato frys. They are lightly seasoned with garlic salt. read more

Was there Sunday March 2nd and the wait was unbelievable - they told us 15 minutes and it was 1 hour just to get our table. They host then skipped us because they had 2 wait lists going.Very frustrating at the complete un-organization. Food & Service not worth the wait. read more

We used to come here all the time and always had a great experience but the last 4 times we have been here it has been awful! Every time our order has been wrong, including something simple like a grilled cheese. We have received free meal passes for the next time we come each time but I would rather they get our food right! : this was our 3rd time "trying again" with our free meal passes and they RAN OUT OF FRIES! The waitress was so nice and the manager was very accommodating they sent out fries that were not their usual and some of them were raw still. The problem is definitely not the wait staff..the kitchen is a mess! They have cooks that can't make grilled cheese or fry and egg - it's ridiculous. Hopefully current management will notice, the place has been on a steady decline for 6 months now. I will say when our food is correct (after being sent back) it is good, but we have yet to have an experience in the past 4 visits where it was not necessary to send something back. read more

This place is great. Everything is always so fresh. I love that their menu is unique and surpasses the choices of a regular diner with some more upscale options. I also love the gluten free and healthy alternatives. This is a great breakfast spot. The only downfall is that it is a little pricey but you get what you pay for-- good quality food. read more

Went here with a friend. We both had a terrific meal. I had the eggs benedict. It was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

This place has great healthy food, and it is a great place to take kids. They have kids nights every Tuesday. On kid's nights they have activities for the kids to do and if you are a Silver Diner member kids get free milkshakes. read more

Today was our first time eating here. Without question we will not be back. Here are some reasons why: First off the waitress was miserable. She definitely was not friendly and you can tell she didn't want to be there, not to mention how slow she was. I ordered Eggs Benedict and my boyfriend ordered a sausage omelette. The poached eggs were overcooked and the English muffin they served it on was not toasted. The omelette was also overcooked and very dry. We did not mention it to our waitress because we did not want to take the chance of getting a new order with spit in it. Avoid this place if possible. Not worth the poor quality for the high prices. read more

We take our 8th grade class to Philly for three days in June each year and always eat here. The food is always fresh and good. The staff always bends over backwards to make our large group (75) meal enjoyable. The menu is quite varied for a diner and the prices are more than fair. The chef here was great to us as well as the manager and waitstaff. We will certainly return next year! Our only regret was that we couldn't fit more meals in our itinerary here. read more

We love the cuisine at this diner. The menu is untouchable among peer restaurateurs. Peerless, might say. Tonight, our toddler's salmon came out raw inside. Our server Jeff was very good. When he was busy, and our toddler was winding up instead of winding down, I went to the front for change from another server, Jesus. He was smirky about helping, though he had no other work before him, and 'reminded' me that we pay our servers. I informed him that mine was busy and we needed change to leave his tip. My husband said he looks like he wants to be paid for doing nothing. The staff tends to be pre-college aged now that summer is over, and they especially require a manager present at front, for common sense. Probably a next-in-line is wise, too, for common courtesy. The hostess was great, but also unavailable at the time, speaking with a table of diners. No doubt she'd be honestly helpful, but doubtful that she'd have much bearing on the kitchen performance itself - as experience would. read more

go to the place often food is good but you have a waiter there by the name of Matt who is a total pain in the neck have complained about him before but he still acts up if nothing is done about him I will have to find somewhere else to eat and will inform anybody else of the same thanx for your time. read more

Stopped for dinner with my boyfriend on Halloween night and we were so happy we didn't have a wait. For a pretty empty diner, it took our server quite a while to come to our take our drink order and again when we were ready to order food. I got a turkey burger cooked well done, my favorite thing on the Silver Diner menu. Again we sat for while. My boyfriend's food was brought out and my burger came without my fries. Our server claimed they were working on them. I cut into my burger and the inside was pink. Too pink for a turkey burger and especially one that was supposed to be well done. Our server did not come by and I had to flag down a different server to send my food back. He said the burger is fine and cooked correctly. Our server was standing off in the corner dancing. The supervisor came by and told me the burgers are pink because they're made fresh and there's nothing wrong with it. Then our server came by to check on us after I talked to two different people. I still felt uncomfortable eating my food even though they kept trying to tell me was cooked correctly. I've always ordered the same thing off the menu and it has never come out looking the way it did and never had such an inattentive server.I doubt I will be going back anytime soon. It was a real let down to have service and food like that. read more
