Terrible service. We waited 15 minutes for a table to be cleaned as the manager talked on the phone. I told him service was poor no response. He didn't care. Won't be going back the there. read more

I came here as a child and lust for a typical Jersey diner brought me back. However, what you'll find here is not typical. The diner seems to have adjusted both for the health conscious craze of the day and the area's average income. There is an under 600 cariole menu, a gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and locally source menu key as well as made to order vegetables. These health-focused offers contain a surprise: TASTE! Thats right! Their healthy food is actually good. I had a gluten free turkey meatloaf on a bed of mashed potatoes and spinach. The spinach tasted fresh. The turkey had yummy carrots and seasonings. The mashed potatoes weren't overly heavy or buttered. Overall, it was a solid meal with attentive service. While the decor is very retro, the prices have been updated--expect to pay about $12-14 per dish. Stop by post shopping and enjoy an yummy update on classic diner dishes. read more

One word, Breadpudding!! Omggg, the best thing on the menu. Delicious, healthy restaurant that makes me feel good after eating there

Hit or miss, I went one time & thought it was really good, went back a second time (ordered the same thing) & was disappointed. I'm in no rush to go back but not opposed to giving them another chance either read more

I absolutely adore this place. The menu is more like a hip café or boutique bar menu than a diner, but you can still find comfort foods that are classic. An added plus are the local ingredients & vegan choices that are tasty & vibrant. read more

This diner was amazing, the staff were so friendly and even though the place was packed we were seated in a timely manner. The food was very filling, the shrimp & grits were bananas (great choice) and the watermelon, cucumber, mint lemonade was very refreshing!! I will definitely be coming back here very soon read more

Really love this place! Quality ingredients and delicious food! Everything was great. Absolutely thrilled about all the natural and vegetarian options! If you are health conscious, this place is a must-try. read more

Perfectly yummy lunch. I had the chicken fingers which tasted like actual southern fried chicken. Iced tea is straight-outta-Dixie delicious too. If it was always like this I'd give 5 stars. It's hit or miss though. I've had 3 star meals here too. Definitely elevating the diner experience with their fresh take on old faves. read more

I highly recommend checking this diner out as we were pleasantly surprised. The service was better than most restaurants. Even if a server wasn't yours, if they saw you needed more coffee or had a dirty plate they would stop and help! Food was good and prices reasonable!! read more

this is a "Diner" by name only. EVERYTHING on the menu is spicy. no definition of what any of the food is. I have no problem trying new food and after loosing 50lbs, wanted to celebrate with some greasy diner food, not whatever you want to call this garbage. If we weren't starving, we would've just left. We waited 30 minutes just for our waiter to come take our drink order. mind you we sat right down. with maybe a dozen other tables and about a dozen employees standing by the front counter talking. Unfortunately, it was also saturday night and everywhere else had 1 hour waits. I see why we sat right down here. Don't waste your time. the good we got wasn't even good. it was dry, over cooked and just garbage. read more

Food was really good and fresh! They claim farm fresh ingredients. The VG chili was really good!!! Take NJ diner food and make it a little healthier and this is your place. Serving sizes were perfect too! Would go back! read more

Wow! I just had the lumberjack with a sub of the quinoa pancakes in place of the silver dollar pancakes. The entire meal was delicious. The quinoa pancakes with blueberries and grilled bananas are amazing. The service is friendly and prompt. The menu had many farm to table flexitarian options. Many vegetarian and vegan options. The inside of the diner is reminiscent of a time past. Music from the 50's and 60's plays quietly in the background. Booths have a 1955 Seeburg jukebox that plays the songs you select throughout the restaurant. Bring your quarters - each song will cost you 25 cents. Counter service offers TV. The place is clean and well cared for. There is a large parking lot with free parking. I do not live in the area, but, would frequent this place if I did! read more

The appetizers were amazing. The wings the best I've had in the area ever! Milkshake to die for. Then my burger came. Very disappointing I told them I didn't like it and they took $9 off my bill which was nice. But it was terrible and my mashed potatoes were bland. Someone I wAs with had mashed potatoes also and his were good. He even tasted mine and agreed they were terrible. How can we both have the same side and his were good? Our service was great. Just don't have the burger read more

Best date night with my babes ever! Love the 50s look. can't say enough about the fried Brussels sprouts! I was surprised to find a diner within such close proximity to cherry hill mall and the amc theatre. The selection is good, with a twist: new items! The flavor is full, good to excellent service, wait is not too long without advance reservation and there is ample parking. I will definitely come here again to get them Brussels sprouts :9 read more

I've been twice since moving to South Jersey and both times I was very disappointed with the sausages. The waffles were still great but I just couldn't eat the sausages for they were dry and hard. The service was great and the waiter was a lovely young man. read more

First time at this restaurant and I was immediately impressed by the staff. From the hostess to our server (Kris) and as well as the supervisor! What was good was the campfire shake and appetizers (avocado toast w/ smoke salmon and the hummus). The problem I had was with the entrees. My dad ordered the blue cheese burger and they made a mistake (they made two of my order). I ordered the smokehouse burger (medium) and it came out well done. To be honest, I should of said something, but I didn't want to add any more problems for the staff. The sauce on the burger overpowered the flavor of the meat which made it less enjoyable. My mother ordered the Flat Iron Steak (which looked amazing in the pictures), but it lacked taste. Overall, 5-star service with eh food. read more

Silver Diner has delicious food. The service is amazing. It truly feels like a classic american diner.

This is my third time visiting this diner and it just gets better. Emily was awesome! We could see her smile through her eyes even with the mask on. The food is great with good sized portions. Vegan options are good! ..especially the " Just egg " Benedict and oatmeal pancakes... read more

My husband and I go to breakfast every Sunday and we like to try a new place most of the time time. But there is one place we visit quite often.... the Silver Diner. I love this place but I especially love one dish in particular. The Bison Huevos Rancheros. Oh my gosh. Amazing! The only thing I would suggest is Avocado and Cholula. Then it's Muy Perfecto! Though time I added Del Taco Sauce. I buy the Packets directly and have them shipped to me. It was really delicious!. Ya. That's the California Girl in me. Just can't let go!. read more

I had been here before and was in the bathroom all afternoon. But on a recent weekday, a friend wanted to have lunch here and I didn't have the heart to decline, but what a nice surprise! Silver Diner has jumped on the farm to table bandwagon and now offers locally sourced bison?! Huh? The menu has been revised to offer healthier selections, clearly marked with a little red heart (http://www.silverdiner.com/sites/default/files/site_files/Healthy_Recap_10_2010.pdf). Admittedly, not as healthy as I would've liked, but make an informed decision, diners! I had the fish tacos with a side of the refreshing Summer Citrus salad (very fresh baby spinach, mangoes, strawberries, carrots, citrus vinaigrette). My friend wanted to eat "healthy" and ordered pancakes, sausage and egg whites. Service was prompt and friendly without being annoying. I would like to try it again! read more

Third time wasn't the charm. Went there last night, because the wait at the Friday's was an hour long at 9:15 pm. Ordered two entrees, soup and salad (I got salad, other got soup) were excellent. Entrees were OK. Yankee pot roast was overcooked and meat was fatty. Not as flavorful as last time. The turkey meatballs and pasta was decent. Meatballs good but pasta a bit overcooked too. Service was top notch, no complaints there! Not sure we'll do dinner entrees there again, will try sandwiches next time with their excellent chicken noodle soup. read more

Previously reviewed brunch which was very positive. Went there for dinner and it was a quite different experience. Son and I had turkey platter. It came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The vegetables were fresh and quite good. The potatoes were good but a small portion. The turkey was machine sliced but not deli. The big problem was the the meal was so salty. Perhaps it was the gravy. If you want a great hot turkey platter, go to Ponzio's in Cherry Hill. More turkey, more potatoes, bigger salad for about the same price.the read more

This was my first time coming to this place. While I understand the dining arrangements due to the pandemic and public health and safety requirements, that did not play any part in my review. I was very impressed with the menu and it offered many flexible options for a variety of diets. The menu was balance to accommodate pretty much anyone that came to this diner. I am vegan so this was heaven for me. Staff was nice, service was great, the wait was not long to be seated, the food was EXCELLENT , and the presentation was superb. I would definitely recommend this to anyone I know and I would return again in the future. Keep up the great work!!!! read more

I came here based on other Yelpers recommending the healthy brunch options.. when I arrived, I had not realized it was right next the to AMC theatre?! I had always seen the Diner, but did not expect this at all. Apparently, it is relatively new.. and I like that it did not have a long wait time (unlike Amy's Omelette House and Turning Point). We were seated right away. They have a lot of options and I had expected all to be healthy, there is only a small section of items that are the healthier options. I ordered the banana pancakes with eggs and turkey sausage and it was alright. My cousin got strawberry waffle (only 1 waffle for about $10) and upgraded to the 100% maple syrup for $1. We also shared a banana chocolate chip milkshake (not so healthy). It all was alright. I would recommend Silver Diner to those who don't want to wait to be seated for brunch. Or who may want to grab some breakfast before their matinee show at the AMC. Otherwise, I don't think the higher prices justify the quality or quantity of the food. They do have a membership program, but I forget the benefits of it besides that it is free to sign up. I also think they have coupons in the local Clipper from time to time so that may help your wallets a little bit. The service here was friendly. I didn't think it was over the top, but it was not bad at all. Your average. The environment is different and has a Johnny Rockets kind of feel, I think. read more

This is one of the best diners I've gone to. I think when you go to diners, you don't expect much... Because well, it's a diner. But this place is an exception. They have great choices. Everything is always fresh and tasty. If this were in Philly, it'd be comparable or better than the popular brunch spots. read more

Food fresh and clean. Staff always friendly. The prices are a little high, but can be a treat.

We visited this diner a couple months ago. It was an Bland experience. However for a traditional Breakfast Diner I would not return or recommend. Things we liked: -Individual Juke boxes for each table. -Attentive service Things we didn't like: -Expensive -Small Portions, so small that all three of us were hungry afterwards -Lumberjack meal was lackluster. Tiny portions. -flavorless food. -Not enough traditional breakfast diner meal options. read more

Your quintessential 50s diner! Shakes, malts, burgers... They have a huge eight page menu. Filled with red pleather booths, and formica table tops, every seating area has a jukebox so make sure you bring quarters! This location is across the highway from the Cherry Hill Mall, and we stop here for lunch every summer after we pick up my son from sleep-away camp. The staff is always friendly, and shakes are delivered to your table in the classic glass stem, along with a second serving in the tall silver mixing cup!! :) My kids dream of this place, and I always look forward to their black and white malts! read more

Food was delicious. When we first arrived we were told it was a 20 minute wait. We didn't think that was bad for a Sunday at brunch time. It was almost exactly 20 minutes. Waitress was promptly greeting us. Took a while for drinks but the place was extremely busy. We had beef burgers, a turkey burger and chicken with waffles. Everything was cooked perfectly and to our exact specifications. A little pricey but overall worth it. read more

I recently went to the silver diner the other night for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. I hadn't been there in so long I forgot how good it was! The decor in here is so cute and you feel like you're in an old fashioned diner, but instead of feeling dated- this place is clean and new. All of the food is fresh and local, but there are too many options to choose from on the menu. Recently, I had the philly steak which was pretty good and I absolutely love the fries here! Our server, Mackenzie, was great- she was super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I will definitely be back, but next time for breakfast (served all day)! read more

Very good spot for healthy food and very quick service. One of my favorite places in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Silver Diner never fails us when we're looking for an option with their wide variety of items on the menu and excellent quality. When we eat in, we alway have excellent service. During our last visit, Mitzi was our server and was very attentive and helped us have a great dinner! read more

Way WAY overpriced, the food was fair at best and the portions were very small. Won't be back.

Food was ok, not anything to rave about. Prices were a bit high for standard diner fare. Breakfast for 2 adults and 1 child was 54.00. Service was lackluster at best. Had to ask for all of the following: silverware and napkins, butter for pancakes, fill up on coffee, jelly for toasted bagel. These are all items that should be brought when items are served. Overall feel was very disorganized...multiple items coming to our table that were not for us and multiple servers coming to get our order after we already ordered. Just wasn't worth the $. read more

Went there during Covid said it offers outside dinning. We had 2 young children with us that are not Eligible for the vaccine at this time. It was 12:30 in the afternoon and we were told the outdoor dinning was not open. The management was very rude even rolled his eyes. Don't advertise you outside dinning if you don't. read more

Not your typical diner. Came in looking for traditional diner fare, and were met with more a more upscale, eclectic menu. Juke boxes seemed out of place given our meals, but the service was good and the food was not bad. Just be prepared that this is not a meatloaf, malt, homemade soup and french toast type of place and enjoy it for what it is. read more

This diner is pretty decent, but nothing spectacular. My wife and I were hungry after shopping, so we gave them a shot. We were able to snag a table for the both of us even though it was busy. The place looks like a 50s throwback complete with individual jukeboxes at yout booths. Our waitress was very attentive and displayed great customer service. The menu had some diner classics from pancakes, to sandwiches, etc. Some of the items were not just your typical diner food. I decided on a grilled cheese with bacon as my lunch. It was kind of small for a sandwich with not a lot of cheese. The jam on the side was really good with the sandwich. They were okay at best and were good for getting a much needed meal. read more
