Not only was there no A/C but they soak your feet in just water & no hot towels and they didn't even ask me what kind of pedicure I wanted & the lady nipped my toes as well. So rude. and i haven't even had the nails for a full day and it's already cracking. Not good. This place was horrible. I got a fill along with friends who got a full, and a full set. I took 30 minutes longer than both of my friends. Not only did it take insanely long but they overcharged me by 5 dollars (found out after) AND they messed up a nail and proceeded to continue and put a clear coat over the damaged nail. I appreciated that they treated my daughter (5 years old)like any other paying customer. Heather and Danny have been operating this shop for many years and the quality is still top notch. I had my first visit here as a result of reading the reviews. I will return to Silky Nails to give them one more shot but I was not impressed with the mani/pedi done by a new employee. I did not know he was new until after the treatment. Total time spent there was 50 minutes for both services combined. The pedicure was $28 and the gel topcoat manicure was $20. I had to file the rough edges of my nails when I got home. The cuticles on one hand were not pushed back or trimmed. My toe nails were trimmed but that was it besides putting lotion on. Love this place! I'm fairly new to the area and while I have an awesome nail artist I got to for my hands, I needed somewhere close to home for pedicures. 3 times Deluxe Nails hasn't been able to fit me in for a pedicure, so after the third time thanks to Yelp I headed over to Silky nails. They were busy, almost every chair filled and yet they still took me, and in less than 10 minutes I was in a pedi chair. I've gotten every pedicurist so far except for Marilyn and I'm happy with the way my toes turn out every time! Great, reasonable price and nice employees. I'm glad this is my new "spot" read more

False Advertising/HORRID CUSTOMER SERVICE This salon advertises a $15 fill. Then once you sit down, they hand you the gel colors to choose from. Never do they tell you that the gel fill is $30. So, when you go to pay, it is now $30. My teens were not comfortable saying anything, so I called and spoke with the owner. He first said "have the girls come in and we will take off the gel color, put on regular color and give them the $15 back" I explained at this point that is not acceptable and we just want the $15 back for the false advertising. He then told me that "Teenagers do what they want and lie and this is their fault." Who says that to a paying customer? These girls are home from college and had a budget to work within We did our research and called to confirm the price, the price was on the board at the salon as well but NOT the secret gel fill price. These girls did not do anything wrong, they were handed gel colors to choose form. This owner has lost our business and should not get yours either! read more

Absolutely terrible. The nails look fine and the people when nice but my fingers are cut up and sore, he cut me so bad the cut started bleeding and he filled it with nail glue. It's been a whole day and the cuts still burn. I wouldn't recommend at all. read more

I decided to give them a try because they were open (and my usual pedi spot was not). Not bad. They are $2 cheaper for what they call a spa pedi, which doesn't include a hot towel or hot rock massage, but they do give a decent foot/leg massage. As long as they don't stick my feet in a bucket of water and I'm in the spa massage chair with the water basin at the bottom. Buckets of water are so 2 years ago! the masage chairs are good, not broken, junkie or uncomfortable like most. The lady that did my pedi was quick and did a fairly decent job for he money. I would have liked a little bit more cuticle work and scrub, though. I'll go back. read more

Very accommodating and all friendly staff. I get off work late, and they still manage to see me at 6:30 when they technically close at 7. They do not overcharge for services, and their work is better than many other salons in Folsom. I have been to a lot of nail salons in the area and have been overcharged for subpar manis and pedis.
