This was the absolute worst manicure I've ever had. The tech was sloppy, fast, cut my cuticle and burned another nail bed using the dremel too hard. She was working so fast she kept making mistakes and getting gel polish all over my fingers. After I watched her file every nail on my left hand at an angle I asked her for the file and started to straighten them up myself. She didn't like this and grabbed the file back and was even rougher than before. She started having a loud conversation with the salon owner in Vietnamese that I'm pretty sure was about me. I wanted to walk out but my sister was visiting and getting her own manicure...I didn't want to raise a scene. Unsurprisingly, my "gel & dip" started chipping after 2 days. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. My 14 year old daughter paid $105.00 for her toes and nails yesterday. She had requested a dip for her nails, but instead Lily did acrylic on her. She was sent home with messy nails, and even worse with 2 cuts. 1 very deep cut under her thumb nail (she was cut with a tool that cleans under the nail) and 1 cut on her cuticle. No apologies even. It makes me so incredibly angry that they take advantage of young girls this way. Charging $100+, while not giving them what they want, sending them home with messy nails, several cuts in the skin, and a terrible job! In no nail salon would it this kind of job be acceptable. Since my daughter was 14 years old and with a friend, Lily thought she could take advantage of her. I'll say no more, just take a look at the photos. I have been going to this salon for over 15 years and each time I walk in for my regular 2 week appointment the owner asks me if she can help me like it's the first time she's ever seen me. I can't use a credit card anymore and have been forced to write a check or pay in cash. It's inconvenient. It should be a place of indulgence but the workers are always angry and it's a terribly toxic environment. I have to bring my own polish cause the expensive salon doesn't have a milky white gel polish. I'm done and gonna go to the hills in EDH. read more

Excel Nails is open again!! After 6 months of waiting my favorite salon is finally able to open. Service is outside and socially distanced, the Salon owner has done a fantastic job of making sure everything is clean and sanitizer and everyone has proper PPE. I came yesterday and got a pedicure. The vibe was very relaxing and calming. The first lady was very good (didn't catch her name), she had glasses and black hair to her shoulders. She was very thorough with the pedicure package I selected, the massage she gave me was so relaxing and necessary. However, the lady after her felt like she was just trying to get the job done and the salon wasn't that busy at this point. She didn't make eye contact with me and when she was done she just left without checking in on me afterwards. My nail ended up getting messed up shortly afterwards. Holy crap! When I entered for the first time today pretty much disappointed with the service offered. I was treated as if they did me a favor and felt sorry to take my daughter. Very chatty and unwanted drama is what I got in return of 50 bucks ( which I could have given to charity instead) yes I did not tip them because I just wanted to finish it off and get going.As soon as you enter they just want you to go sit on the chair w/o even checking what they offer( first timer) and then they make you wait like they are too busy!
