The envelopes took a bit of back and forth to get it perfect, and I appreciate them keeping at it until the correct product was delivered to me. I used to be very excited about ordering my business cards here, but it seems that ordering here is unpredictable and a hassle. The first time I ordered from Silkcards/Color4Print, I felt it being very accurate. I even referred a few clients of mine to them. The next time I ordered, I ordered 2 separate cards, but SAME color and logo for the SAME business. Cards for myself and cards for my employees. I was really excited to get them in the mail, but they are completely two different colors and not only that, the font is bolder where I have my logo than on the other side. I wanted to return them because I won't be using either. I reached out to the company to let them know of my issue, and they told me to send them 5-10 cards showing the flaws. I sent it out about 1.5-2 weeks ago, I just heard back from them yesterday. Tina had called me and questioned why I laminated/taped them when I just took my xacto-knife to slice them off of the shipping box that Silkcards/Color4Print tapped them to. It was a really weird message and I felt like in a way she was accusing me of manipulating the cards. It was pretty unprofessional. Again, I wanted to return them and I was afraid that if I opened the order, I wouldn't be able to return them anymore. I will keep updating this review depending on the outcome. Update: Tina kept emailing back and forth on what the issues were exactly with the prints and persisted on a phone call. I told her that e-mail is easier for me as I'm always busy in my treatment room and taking in clients. This process took way longer than it should and she again, manipulated the situation and said because I didn't call her the process of getting new cards took longer... If your company would actually take notes on what the client said or actually read what the e-mail is saying to your staff, you might understand what my concerns are and it would have been resolved in a timely manner. How many times does a consumer have to explain why he/she is unsatisfied with your service? I almost had to come up with different ways of how to say why I was unsatisfied even though it was just me repeating myself. Because they failed on understanding what I didn't like about the cards, I finally gave up and asked for a full refund. For a reprint, they were going to give me a discount on my next order for 25% off even though I absolutely were not going to use the cards they printed. Why in the world would I want to lose $400 plus dollars and go thru what I had to with your company again? Out of principal, they had me ship them back to them which I totally understand. But, at the same time, it's a weird way of showing your customers that you don't trust them. This has got to be the most greediest/ money hungry establishment yet. It's been probably 2 months since I made the order and now I'm just waiting for my full refund which is supposed to be expected as a check in the mail. I've made 2 purchases and so far the cards have been perfect. My only issue is the long production time, but that's not at all a big deal as long as I can inform my client ahead of time. The cards were fantastic and my clients were very pleased. Whenever using any outside vendor, we always thoroughly preflight our files and are sure to send hi-res PDF files with crops & bleeds. Strongly suggest not using this business for business cards as my experience with them was terrible. Paid $99 for them to design a card which resulted in a terrible attempt and ended up just using my original design. I specifically asked for the card they were printing to be exactly like my original. A proof was sent which showed the exact card with the same colors fonts and size., as I requested. When the cards were delivered (took over 2 months) the font size of the telephone number and website was reduced which resulted in the inability to read the most important part of a business card. The company would not do anything to correct the problem, alleging that the proof was approved, although the final card was NOT the same as the proof. These cards ended up being unusable, and very upsetting after paying $498. I filed a complaint and their reply was an offer for new cards to be printed asking me to pay an unfair discounted price. Realizing the very poor customer service and poor product quality of this company, I decided to just toss the cards and express to others the business practice of this company so as to avoid someone else wasting a lot of money and aggravation. read more

... I will start by saying you should NOT use this company to print cards! Such a headache! I had horrible service with silk cards. I received terrible customer service and their response time during proofing approval was one time a week. I had numerous issues with my card during the proofing process including an error they made on my card (not me) during proofing. When the exhausting proofing process was complete I realized I made a typo on my own. This was 2 weeks before I even received the cards. And they said nothing could be done. So I let it go. Then I receive my cards finally and another error was made on there part. A pint misprint of a word was made on every single card I got. And when I contacted them they said there was also nothing that could be done. The only way I could get my money back was if I send back all damaged cards using my own money for postage - when I threw away he cards because I was so frustrated and the were unusable. I will never work with this company again! Horrible customer service, sloppy work and not respectful to the needs of clients. I ordered cards with rounded edges, raised Spot UV on 1 side (matte finish), & glossy color on the other side. The initial order didn't turn out as I had expected due to some issues with the font my graphic designer had used. After exchanging a couple emails with a customer service rep who wasn't helpful, I was connected with a supervisor named Howard. He was very helpful and had my cards reprinted. Very disappointed for a number of reasons. I placed an order for a customer who then decided to go in a different direction. I had paid for the order in full. Before I had even approved a proof, I called to cancel the order. They refused to refund my $, and would only give me a company credit for this order. (Over $600.00) They make it very hard to do business with them. Their products are beautiful, but super expensive, and they take forever. I continue using them to work through my existing credit and continue to be frustrated. Not worth doing business with them if you are in the east coast as they open at 9am PST and are very bad at returning phone calls. read more

This is tough to give stars to this experience and I definitely want the company to see this and fix the issues they are having. I received my first order with them. The quality, the design, the product is outstanding!!! I am in LOVE with what I received! 10 stars if I could give it. I want to order more products with them. Now, the negative. With first order, I had a major headache with them. I placed an order with Silk Cards. They redirected me to a sister website/company. I was on a deadline to receive my order. Almost two weeks after confirmation of my order I didn't hear from them, so I called to inquire about the delivery of my order. Apparently they didn't start working on it, because they had some questions. However, NO ONE had contacted me about these questions!!! So, my order was just sitting there. Now I was running out of time for production. After debating with manager for some time we agreed upon discount for inconvenience and they had to ship my product to the conference where I was having meetings. Product arrived just an hour before my meeting, it was gorgeous and I was happy it finally turned out to my satisfaction. I put all of this aside. I LOVE the product and happy with their effort to make things right. I am producing new product and want Silkcards to produce my second product to match first. I request a quote. No response. I request a quote a week later again. Another week goes by, I get a phone call and email with questions. We go back and forth trying to catch each other. They seldom pick up a phone, so if you have questions, be warned that it's hard to get anyone on the line. If you email them it may take a week for them to respond. Exactly one week ago I got to speak to a lovely rep, Kimberly, about my quote. She promised to get back to me with a quote. Today is 7 days after and no quote! After two emails and a phone call I got an email back: no hello, no name, nothing, like there are no humans working at this company! The email said to login into my account and quote is there. Well, the quote is not there. Also, their website, which they want you to use if you live in Vegas, doesn't work on Mobil devices. Common, it's 2017! I am very frustrated with the level of customer service in this company. I actually met most of the people who work there in person. They are amazing guys! It makes no sense why they work so hard to drive customers away?!?! The only thing I can think of, is that they hate their owner and want him out of business. I truly want them in business, because I love their product! I hope that someone will read this review from this company and decide to make a positive change. Waited for months on my small order for my cards to arrive. According to them it was out of their hands and it was UPS to blame. They were able to give me a small percentage of my money back after having to call multiple times and requesting it. Customer service could be a little more responsive since I was told I would get callbacks but never did. When I finally received my order, I actually liked their card quality. BUYER BEWARE! Have you noticed that there are only one star and five star reviews for the company? A clear indication of fake five star reviews. Please do not believe those. This company is DECEPTIVE and DISHONEST. I would avoid them at all costs if I were you. First, I received a quote for my order. I wasn't going to place the order but then they sent me a discount code so I decided to proceed. When I went to add the discount code to my order, no discount was taken at checkout. So I opened the chat box to speak with someone who ASSURED me that they manually process orders and that I would definitely not be charged the full amount but that I should check out and when they manually process the orders, they will include the discount and I will only be charged the discounted rate. They also show no line item for shipping which led me to believe it was included in the price. After I placed my order I receive an email that shipping will be calculated and charged later. Why was this not told to me during checkout? I go back to the chat where the rep tells me that shipping is $9. At this point, I'm annoyed but decide to move on. A few minutes later, I receive an email saying I've been charged my full quoted price plus $9 for shipping with NO DISCOUNT. Luckily I had screenshot the conversation with the rep that promised me the discount would be manually added, right? WRONG! I spoke with a new rep who later connected me back with the original rep - both of whom refused to give me any discount claiming that my quoted price was already discounted (even though it was not shown as a discounted price at any step in the process). Of course, there are no prices listed on their website, no other prices listed when I received my quote and NO mention of it being a discount. They have now refused to honor any discount for me for this order after already charging me in FULL despite their PROMISE that this would not happen. I've never been more deceived by a company in my life. I would not recommend working with a company that lies and deceives to get orders and doesn't honor their promises. I am so pleased with my experience! I've been trying to get cards printed through another company for TWO YEARS. I was so exhausted by the process that I kept giving up better required "revisions". They kicked back files so many times and I had to return orders because of the quality. I explain this because I finally got fed up, found silk cards, chatted with their rep via mobile web chat. They reviewed my order immediately, had my order placed within an hour, and my files confirmed within the day. I was floored how easy it was and the cards came out PERFECT. I ordered silk cards with purple edges that had stamped foil and spot UV intermixed. What was seemingly impossible for another company was a snap for silk cards. I also liked the customer platform where I could log on and see which production step the cards were in. I will absolutely be using this printing company as my preferred vendor moving forward! Bad customer service on multiple levels.... Ordered 500 business cards, designed them myself but asked for feedback. They had me change the design since apparently they have trouble printing blue. I changed the design to the specification levels of color they recommended and it's just a black card now, no color at all except the edging. AND I paid for full color cards, and there's no color because I followed their direction. I have to have cards to pass out at an event in a few days so I'm stuck with what I received, I don't have a choice... They offered me 15% off my next order... Nothing but excuses so they wouldn't have to do anything from customer service, even though the error was at least partially their fault. read more
