I suggested to do a search on Yelp and he landed on Deluxe Pool Services. I held my breath... and they came through. The services he gets include opening/closing and weekly cleanings. Dad is especially impressed because whenever there are issues with his pool, their customer service is so top tier, they are on it immediately to resolve the problem. Their location is in CT but you can see from the reviews that they work with pools all over LI (and apparently as far as Albany, according to my father). Their maintenance people are fast, friendly and thorough (I've been at the house a couple times when they serviced the pool). Reasonably priced, too. Important to note that my father is someone who doesn't tolerate inconsistent timeliness (this probably goes for 9/10 dads, no?) and they are always on time or they call. You really can't ask for anything more when it comes to pool services.

I realized it would be priced a little bit higher because it was a lot of damage done over the winter to the pool. Had a new expensive DE pool filter and a new Chlorinator for my salt water swimming pool late last…read moresummer .Found out the water inlet and outlets were hooked up in reverse. Damaging the chlorinator and wash out DE filter elements into the pool and the filter is not working at all. I am still can not use the pool. Sent many pictures to the owner but waited for a long while before they showed up at their own schedule.But the worse part is that they crushed the electric cable under the heavy filter while they tried to reverse the water in and outlet to the filter. They did not fix up the chlorinator or recharging the DE filter to make it works. Now The owner does not want to fix anything when I try to give them another opportunity to fix their mistake. I did not get a word of apology for the elemental mistake that they made.Not worthwhile to spend money with this company. I have plenty of pictures to prove all I had said.
