Last year, the liner ripped, and I initially thought it was my fault. This year, I had another pool professional come inspect it, and they immediately pointed out that the original installation was done very poorly. They found that there were tree roots underneath the pool that had continued to grow, causing the ground to become uneven and the pool to lose its level. I was also told that the area should never have been used in the first place because of the roots. I trusted his judgment when he assured me the spot was properly leveled, but it turns out that wasn't the case. While the pool may have looked fine initially, the poor placement and installation ended up costing me a damaged liner and additional repair expenses just a year later. I would not recommend this service based on my experience. If I could give a 0 star;I would.

He sent a contract that included an auto cover that we didn't ask for. When I asked for an updated contract he added a 19th clause for escalation that he didn't point out nor did I catch. Guys who opened the pool didn't properly connect the pump so rain shorted it out, When liner bulged and wrinkled, we were told it was normal, or the fault of the liner, or the cover. This year we got 2 other opinions and discovered we were right all along and had to pay 1/3 of the original cost all over again to get it fixed by a more experienced contractor. Perhaps Ocean North does excellent gunite work. We just preferred vinyl. i think we were his first. Mistakes happen. But don't run from them or ignore patient customers.
